I am a 13 years old girl learning Spanish. I am from India. I thought it would take years for me to learn this language apart from accents, grammars, but I found a perfect place for myself to learn it fast and it's you and duolingo podcasts. I am so lucky to have such a good youtuber. As I was thinking about travelling to some Latin American countries. And now it has became easy for me to go to that path. Thank youusm. And also in India we can't find any schools like foreign language learning. As I am doing is everything online so it has became a bit hard for me.

Thank you so much! I have had some strong basics back in high school i used to be an excellent student but i lost it all due to lack of practice. This is one of the most helpful videos I’ve ever watch regarding learning spanish. Simple and smooth conversations with subtitles that I truly enjoyed watching. I speak 4 languages fluently (french,english,arabic and berber) and my last shot is spanish. I was trying to find a way to learn quickly and easily and there I found you. ohh hey! the third teacher was so great, he didn't get hung up on assuming beginner level "y tu" etc and was like "en realidad..." lots of vocabulary and great practice. Genuinely seemed like he was having a little fun as a language teacher.

How did you learn Dominican Spanish ? Did you first start with standard Spanish ? And how did you get the Dominican accent ? Your accent is really good. Native level
I started off with standard Spanish because I had no clue that Dominican Spanish existed. I learned Dominican Spanish by listening to them speak and mimicking the characteristics. If you go to the end of the video you'll see my "how to speak like a Dominican" video that I made. It puts it in simple terms as far as the accent. One my website bilingueblogs.com you can check my Caribbean spanish blog to learn the slang. It's simple. Most of my knowledge came from listening to music, interviews and shows.
