Thank you Bernie for the storm update. Passed your video and info to my brother who has family living in Jacksonville, FL area. Been watching you for years Bernie, also Joe Bastardi since his Weather World days in the late 1970s.. You're not awful, I think you're one of the top notch forecasters in the U.S.!
Love this new channel chaos to clarity! Hoping to see more of it keep us updated! Been following you for years since the periscope days Bernie. Happy Holidays to you and your family.
Glad I found your expertise on the weather. I'm tuned in. I follow a few channels. Enjoyed your predictions and delivery. Serious but honestly entertaining. Fort Myers.
Love your weather explanations, Bernie. I better understand the difficulties of forecasting storms. I wish Philadelphia was getting snow though. Another day...
I've never met a meteorologist I didn't like. Come to think of it, I only met one face to face in Central PA at [what was then an upstart] "Ollie's Bargain Outlet". "Paul" Knight (sic) [of said program] was shopping and I approached revealing being a big fan of "Weather World" (out of State College, PA). He was somewhat surprised but shared he was there: his wife and fam was from the vicinity. "Weather World" was a 15-minute program broadcasted on channel 33, WITF, towers in Hershey PA. Hosted by Fred Gadomski. The beauty: it repeated two, 15 minute segments back-to-back (in case I got home late from work). What a program? For instance, they'd give the kids [in the apparent college class] an opportunity to do their presentation. I can almost picture "Joe Bastardi" and his passion of the science on his first broadcast. All said, if you study meteorology, I salute. Getting back to today (2023-12-14). I expect more of a county [AccuWeather] map that should outline the county risk and not, so much, subdivision' Thx.
@WWG1WWGA Deaths inland in central Florida were caused by a trio of F3s that carved their way through several counties just before, and after, midnight. The last of the F3 tornadoes touched down in Osceola County about 10 minutes before 1 a.m. Starting in Kissimmee before crossing into Orange County, the tornado stayed on the ground for more than 30 minutes. The Osceola County tornado killed 25 people and injured more than 150. That's central Florida. And I saw the damage that morning. I lived about 2 miles north of the path of destruction. Maybe you are referring to hurricanes where inland is a bit safer.
Is there a reason your website puts completely false information on your website, guess good to know. Amazed this company thinks people do not see it but obvoiusly do as website traffic proves it..guess we'll be joining the move on.. too bad between overbearing site with pop up ads and this seems like will not be improving.
You are NOT awful. You bring us the best explanations on how the weather acts. Keep up the good work!

Pinellas County here, the only thing more terrifying than a tornado is a tornado hitting at night, I pray for everyone’s safety this weekend.

I have to drive from Tampa to Miami on Sunday. I heard it will clear up and be over. Advice for what to expect driving across Florida on Sunday?
are you still on accu weather on tv ?
Wow thanks How about SE Georgia on Saturday
A Florida tornado might take out a shed or a fence. Sorry, but it’s not a huge deal .
FLORIDA DEADLY FEBRUARY TORNADO EVENTS
February 2, 1983 3 Killed
February 2, 2007 21 Killed
February 22, 1998 4 Killed
February 23, 1998 38 Killed
Not a huge deal for those who live "inland" & away from the coast, for sure. Blessed to live in central FL!

Hoping we get some rain but not too much severe weather here in Southeastern NC.
