This video took ages to make, over 12 hours of editing and wish I could have put more in it, like pics of all the masks and melees but it was just too much.

The h3h3 probably rates the lowest for me; characters don't fit the game and the voice acting is poor and annoying. It was nice that Overkill was trying to help them, but this was not the right way to do it. The masks and maybe some themed weapon skins would have been better, instead of having 2 characters that feel like they are really bad PD2 cosplayers.

Not to mention that aside from the terrible voice acting, their perk deck is useless, the weapons in the dlc are bad, the models are buttfugly, and really who gives a crap about some neckbeard and his wife. They aren't hardened criminals like the rest of the gang and they feel so out of place.

And in my experience, It does more damage than the other grenades, but i dont know the damage numbers.
@@dukem8774 Damage is the same, but the fact that it can't be shot makes the grenades pretty much obsolete regardless.
@@No-vq1iv thanks for clearing that up, I have to admit, whenever I used them it felt like it did more damage, but it was most likely my brain going "bundle of sticks of dynamite > hand grenade"
The Cartel Optics pack does actually have a purpose, that being the addition of two concealment-boosting mods for a number of primaries and a reflex sight with no negative impact on concealment. When combined, one can make certain weapons work in crit builds at max efficiency that wouldn’t be possible otherwise, perhaps most notably the Thanatos for that extra bit of overkill.

@@b33croft I get that it doesn't have the versatility of the Mod Courier Pack or the AK/CAR Mod Pack, but if crit builds with weapons that really shouldn't be in crit builds are your thing, it's a must-have.

But to answer your question, I can think of a few reasons: SWAT turrets, minigun dozers, and bullet sponge enemies on high level crime sprees.

Clearly Weapon Skin Pack #2 should be much higher on the list. It is essential to the Payday 2 experience that you can rob banks and dominate cops with guns painted with hello kitties on them.

For me the Gage Mod Courier Pack is ABSOLUTELY essential to the game, since most weapons use the mods from this DLC, i think this is the only DLC that Overkill should have let free

With the dynamite a couple things to note in comparison to the standard frag grenade
1. Dynamite cannot be shot in the air
2. Dynamite can be thrown further
3. Dynamite bounces a bit more off the ground

I began looking at Payday 2 videos again and I felt like installing the game. I had picked up all the DLCs that weren't in my Steam library (from the legacy collection bundle) and I didn't feel like installing the game no more because I was so lost on what DLCs had what and what was what you know what I mean? I really needed this video just as it skims through the DLCs. I appreciate your videos man, so much.

Unfortunately it comes down to the weapons and perk decks. The Lion’s Roar is let down by its ungodly-long reload (not helped by it not having a speedpull mag for some reason), and Infiltrator is just too situational, especially if you happen to have access to Sociopath (which basically does Infiltrator’s job better on top of being more versatile with built-in health AND armor regen in place of passive damage resistance at close range). The Airbow is a much more effective weapon (if a bit overkill for most targets) and Tag Team at least has the potential for making decent support builds around.

The Scarface character DLC, as well as the Heist DLC, are the two that actually got me to buy the game in the first place a short while back. As a huge fan of the movie, seeing that I could play as Tony (I’m not calling him a Tony impersonator) is what pushed me over the edge to buying it (and soon after all other DLCs). And I absolutely love them- Scarface’s voice lines are great, the likeness to Al Pacino definitely isn’t bad, I personally love the Little Friend, I use the Hotline 8000x just because it’s funny, and Break the Rules is pretty much the only theme I select. And of course, the actual heist is brilliant- Overkill really put in even the small details to make it look and feel authentic.

If it was a two day heist I think people wouldn't play it, since as far as I have seen people don't play 2 day heists as much as one day heists. Although I agree it should have been two day heist, I hate to do the first part again after failing the second part.

I don't really mind having this many dlc's in the game, cuz that supports the creators and speeds up the production of PayDay 3
they seem to be stalling because theyre still releasing DLC for PD2
@@COhlen I mean I think I have seen a yt video where a guy looks at a telegram and u can see how many people work on payday 2 and how many work on payday 3, I think most of the people were working on payday 3 but im not sure

2.wolf pack because counterfeit and undercover are good heists
1.sokol character pack because Sokol is the best character in the game and the hockey stick is the best

I always tell people to pick up the base game and the courier package dlc if they want to try the game. Most others are up to preference but that one adds a layer that is somewhat required for the game.
And since I tend to host for friends I tend to have most level packs, except for the newest, so they can get into most of the heists with me.

I really wasn't expecting Birth of Sky and Beneath the Mountain to be number 1. While I don't think it is number 1, I still completely agree with it being placed so high on the list. The heists are extremely fun to play. Locke is absolutely amazing and I think these two heists are where he shines the best. Hearing him swear constantly is absolutely hilarious. "Are you fucking stupid? I said attach the money to the pallet!" I mean come on, how is that not hilarious? Not only that, I also think Drop Zone is one of the best assault tracks in the game. Speaking of tracks, you should make a video ranking every heist track.

My favorite is the ggc, I’ve said this a thousand times, it’s my favorite heist. Even though it’s not actually that good… it’s fun as all hell to stealth, and pre planning is awesome, being able to customize how you end, if you start with the c4, if you need to defend multiple sockets, if you need to get coolant every 1 second or every 3 seconds(it feels like) and even just a quicker drop off for drill! You can even customize the drill to be able to defend itself!
But sometimes the customization can be… understandably overwhelming. But still it’s fun if you understand it.

I actually really like The Biker perk deck, I only usually play on Overkill/Mayhem so it helps when I play with Pro friends on DSOD

I've played Clover the most, 2169
, followed by Jiro: 287. These days, I play a lot of Scarface: 279.
The more interesting thing is that my 2nd most used secondary is the GSPS, which is a solid shotgun I use on my muscle build (Raven + GSPS (with fletchettes for snipers)). (My #1 used secondary? The Deagle, accounting for 15.47% of all my kills!)
Of course, these days I get the IZHMA on the stoic build (exactly the one you use), and it accounts for 5.19% of all my kills with just 1.80% of usage.

Due to the fact cartel optics pack not only adds a sight that doesnt reduce concealment, but a gadget that adds +1 concealment provided you have a sight, is actually more significant then you might think when trying to make dodge builds with more unusual rifles

Used this list a handful of times to decide what dlcs i should get, i know i shouldn't use it as a dlc bible, but this did help me get some of the more fun dlc, so thanks! Idek if he reads the comments here anymore, but worth a shot

Ive actually really enjoyed weapon colour pack *2, for a relatively cheap price you get skins for all your weapons. The magenta one with the skulls is the one i rock the most and the purple plants one is also sick

I might not be the only one who noticed this mistake, but on the John Wick weapon pack review (6:36), you showed the LEO Pistol (from the bomb heists dlc) instead of the Contractor Pistol. I wanted to just pointing that out.

I think sydney ranks so high because sydney is pretty much the only "interesting" female heister.
Clover- Basically default white woman, but irish
Bonnie- Obnoxiously Scottish and kinda ugly
Hila- (overkill delete this pls)
Joy- stereotypical gamer girl, very obnoxious and is just a marketing thing for Nintendo Switch PD2 Release oh and also japanese because nintendo
Sydney- Brash, Austrailian, interesting appearance, and a personality of being invited to the payday gang because she was ballsy and stole a money bag while the gang was heisting, on top of being artsy(which explains the arm tattoos and the hair and why shes the mask designer in the new safe house). Her gun is a little goofy but overall something fun to goof around with. Sydney reminds me a lot of Sabine Wren from Star Wars Rebels, being the one female character who still manages to be a believable strong female character. My major issue with bonnie and clover is that theyre just generic. Bonnie has a little bit of personality but scottish and alcoholic isnt much of a personality and Clover is just "me irish me proud of it"

Good to know that pretty much every dlc I dont have is considered bottom of the barrel. The ultimate edition pack definitely seems like all you really need imo

Bought the completely overkill pack back in the day. The masks are great and worth it but the weapon skins were handled poorly when you consider the price.

What a Ride.
Anyways. My favourite DLC is Mostly doing LOUD heist and Having Clutch or kick in Stealth heist.
For Mod (not count Gage Courier mod pack becuz it's a need for better QoL) in my TOP 5
1. Gage Historical Pack (haha MG42 goes brrrrrrt)
2. AK/CAR mod Pack (some mod so useful lol)
3. OVERKILL Pack (basically is for fun and test your mouse sensitivity)
4. Gage Shotgun Pack (Useful so much)
5. Butcher's BBQ Pack (Pyromaniac is a thing. Hmm.)
For Heist with Weapon
1. Scarface Heist Pack (Basically i love smash Bulldozer with Commando 101 lol)
2. Hotline Miami Heist Pack (it's fun and speedrun rush room to room but also the weapon is goood too.)
3. Goat simulator (it's meme and yes the 12G ithaca shotgun was classic btw. Fun to use as HE slug)
4. John Wick heist (the Weapon is John Wicked style but i like 10-10( NewYork Can't Remember district lol) it's fun to play as protect the vip.)
5. Wolf Pack (Since it's only the pack that was on PD: The Heist. It was bring classic back with GL but using like shotgun. And 1 Mixed Heist and 1 Loud Hostage Heist 2 get money btw lol.)
For Heist ONLY (it doesn't take place becuz i like them)
- Point Break Heist is FUN as sound.
You want take Box of Cash while in Sky? You can.
OR
You want to curb stomp on Mountain and Steal shiz? Also Yes.
- San Martin Heist.

Your Rank List DLC is mostly 70% Accurate. Becuz some of them are useless as F. Some are Useful as hecc. And Some of them are really a CORE of upgrading to suit your playstyle.

Goat Simulator gives absolutely unique experience on high difficult, when even second day really frustrating. Basically the best heist ;)
It is fun if you know you’re gonna struggle. I don’t mind it too much
I really like all of Gage's packs, most because they are all very cheap now. I think that Gage Weapon Pack #1 is actually really good. The Signature Pistol is, from what I've heard, great for dodge builds, the Eagle is a fun gun to use, especially with Ammo Efficiency, and the SpecOps SMG is pretty strong with its 70 damage per hit, decent accuracy and stability, and a very good extended magazine mod. As long as you give it the extended magazine mod, it will shred through feds.
I pray for overkill to release the completely overkill pack again. One day....

Gage Russian Pack is great. Sniper Rifle is not that great, but I like it, and of course pp-19 is the best secondary on One Down Build.
Man seriously, you have placed good dlcs on the back of list. And for the rest, this is the most ridiculous ranking I've seen.

problem with that is just that those of us who bought it back in the day we paid 20? usd to support a company
we were promised something in return we didnt know what it was then they added loot boxes
everything burnt down at that point
i would hazard a guess in saying that reselling the pack would end up with a fire maybe a few magnitudes smaller but a fire still
wouldnt even know where it stands legally selling something as limited print limited time then proceeding to resell it
