Hi, thank you for another great video from both, you and Kristi I like the Yamaha old look and new features, but I was thinking during all the video that another gear is similar in features (HDMI, Dirac correction,...) and finally you talk a litle about it and it's the NAD M10 V2. More compact product, more modern style, class D amplifier, something diferent but also practical and nice. Regarding the black band that includes the screen, I agree with you Andrew that is a very intelligent and elegant way to include the screen in a classic design. Personally I think it's nice, and remember to me the vintage receivers that had wood pieces added to the chasis. In the other hand, as Kristi pointed correctly, if someone has any problem with it, it could select the all black design. But... I prefer the real contrast between the silver and black that the difference in the surface design between the black aluminium and the plastic surface and look in the screen. I have black Yamaha AVR (RX-V677) and a Yamaha BD-A1040 Blue-Ray/SACD that both like good, but I don't like so much just that difference between the black alluminium and the plastic screen area.
Subtle hint to viewers to actually watch the video to the end rather than stopping it a few minutes in to write a comment asking "how this Yamaha amp compares to...?"
I got the R-n2000a with a set of ns-3000 speakers. It sounds fantastic. Very natural, get seperation. I learnt the lesson to listen to speakers before you buy. I thought I wanted a KEF active speaker or Dutch&Dutch 8c, but when I listened to them, my ears got tired after an hour or so. With the 2000a+3000 setup, I listen to it for 11 hours straight one time and never tired of it. It's actually gotten better with time.
@robinsonbrand thanks. I really liked your review. You get that is about sound preference. One isn't necessarily better than the other (the audiolab is great if you like a forward sound) and more expensive isn't always better (the 1000 review showed that its more dynamic than its big brother).
Andrew and Kristi, I just absolutely love the importance and emphasis you two put on style, design, and aesthetics of equipment and pieces as a whole and how it truly does affect integration of one’s lifestyle and choices of picking wisely! It’s too often overlooked by others and not only in the RUclips space. I have taken an influence for sure and designed my room and my sound system together to be seem less in appearance as to be most inviting for me and others when I love to show it all off! Great job as always, and thank you again!
Thanks for this Review. I got this amp and driving my Opera Quintas I am at the end of my journey. I bought it because of your review and am more than happy. 🎉
This is still the best All In One amplifier for 2024! Great sound - Tone controls - HDMI - Sub connection - USB connection - streamer - room correction. I also like the Rotel RAS-5000 but prefer the Yamaha.
I have the R-N2000A paired with the KEF R3s and I am enjoying the pairing. To be honest, I hated the R3s before and was looking for new speakers to purchase. I thought the R3s were boring and lifeless unless you turned the volume to 50% or higher. The R-N2000A woke the speakers up and showed me their true potential. I am really enjoying my setup now
Been waiting for this review and comparison for months. Thanks again. I'm team Andrew and going for the silver. Growing up Dad and my uncle had CA 810 and CA 400 so silver is a no brainer.
Adding Christy to this channel was one of the best decisions you ever made bro- she has good sense and balances you perfectly. The RN 2000A has a lot of bells and whistles, but it seems like the Audiolab 9000A seems the better component if one doesn’t want/need all of that other stuff. I mean, if you already have a separate DAC and streamer and don’t want that why pay for it?
Team Andrew. I'm a sucker for almost anything Yamaha, and I love the VU meters and the variable loudness knob and all the other knobs. I don't mind the black bar at all.
Thank you very much 🙏 dear Andrew and dear Kristi for this great presentation of the Yamaha network amplifier. I had an A-S2100 for a very short time. A great device in terms of sound. Unfortunately I got a lemon. The amplifier failed three times within 3 months. It got stuck in the protection circuit when I switched it on. After that I was fed up with Yamaha amplifiers. Two Yamaha mixers have been working here for years without any problems. Keep up the good work. I appreciate your work very much. All the best and Servus from Bavaria
So sad to hear you had a bad experience with an older Yamaha amp. That sucks. Hopefully, if you feel the need to give them another chance Yamaha won't disappoint in the future.
Sorry for the double-up, sent you a $10 superchat but forgot to attach my question to it 🤦♂, so here goes again.. Hi Andrew and Kristi, absolutely love your work and content, you guys effing rock! I'm in the proces of setting up my man-cave as an ultimate (for me) music and tv room. I love music, and my ultimate setup for this would be based arount the Yamaha R-N2000a paired with the Klipsch RP8000F II speakers and a sub or two if required. The room is 6mx7m with a cathedral ceiling. The stereo receiver would also be connected to my Hisense U8 75in Tv. Obviously in this scenario, tv sources such as set top box, game console, apple TV, will be feeding sound throug e-arc to the receiver and be directly plugged to tv. Are there any downsides to this? Picture quality, latency? Or should I in your opinion purchase a comparatively priced AV Receiver such as the Yamaha A6A, with all my sources plugged directly into the receiver, and only running 2.1 speaker channels of the 9.2 available? I'll also at a later date be purchasing a turntable, so not sure if that will sway in the favour of any of the two aforementioned options. Would love to hear your thoughts on this, as it is a very big investment for me and I dont want to get it wrong. One other factor of consideration is that I absolutely love the look of the R-N2000A yamaha... Many thanks. Scott (your biggest fan from New Zealand)
Scott, thank you for your support and generosity, we really appreciate it! As for your setup question, everything sounds great from what I can see. Yes, all your sources that you wish to take advantage of both picture AND sound would need to be connected directly to your TV then ARC/eARC out of the TV to the Yamaha. Non-video-sources could be connected directly to the Yamaha; sources like a TT, for which the 2000A has an EXCELLENT phono preamp! So long as you don't want surround sound at any point, the 2000A should be a one-and-done purchase, able to handle what you're after for the foreseeable future and then some! I think the 8000F IIs are great speakers, but know that if you want to look upmarket the 2000A will work with most speakers not named B&W 801 D4 Signatures 😂. Let me know if I can be of any more help!
Totally agree with Kristi, that black bar is poorly justified visually, of course it allows to display information, but that information never justifies the width of the bar. The full black version manages to disguise this situation better by not differentiating something that really fails to create a powerful difference. Love your videos!
GREAT REVIEW! I have to go with Andrew here. Sorry Kristi! (I think it looks great with those Martin Logans in white with silver cones.) I am going from GoldenEar Tritons (you guys never reviewed any of their stuff huh?) to a 2 channel setup for my living room space. (Moved the GoldenEar SuperCenter X with SuperSats to my bedroom and have it as a 5.1 system.) Your reviews of these two (Yamaha and Martin Logans) is a sign from the universe!
I love the black bar at the bottom. I think it gives you the blend of the black and silver instead of just the all black I don’t find it to be distracting at all. I think it complements that and really makes it look great with the combination of black and silver just a little black on the bottom it’s awesome.
Thank you for your informative reviews. The teamwork you and Kristi have make these reviews enjoyable as well. Your reviews are helping me formulate what I want and need from a receiver/amp. So many questions to be asked for another day to revamp my circa 2005 3.1 setup. Enjoy your weekend!
Love all the comparisons. Two comments. Forgot to mention what for me is the killer feature and so well implemented not to mention extremely rare; the very effective variable loudness control. Not everyone listens to music loud and this is essential to maintain the perceived frequency response at lower volumes. I would like to see a comparison with the Lyngdorf TDAI 1120. Thanks.
Hey Andrew, first time caller (okay, 20th time caller), long time listener. here.....I ordered the ML you recently reviewed to compare to the Concept 50's A/B. I am using the Rotel 1592 MK II right now, so being able to go A/B on speakers with volume match, Sources being the Luxman D-03x which does MQA stream and MQA CD's, and my Oppo 205 for SACD. What;'s your desert island setup? -ML F100 - Concept 50 - Focal K2 936 Technics SU-G700M2 Grand Class Rotel 1592 Mk 2 Cam EVO 150
Thanks for the support! Sounds like you're about to have a lot of fun! As for my desert island setup, I honestly don't know. Probably something really simple, like a pair of Beolab 28s, or the Logans or Klipsch speakers with a really good integrated like the R1000 from Technics.
@gregwilcox I think the Rotel can be really good with the right speaker. I thought it was much better with the Focal Aria 926's i have than the Concept 50's. IMO the Rotel seemed to "box" in the 50's in the mid range, but it did well with it in the highs. I think the DAC in my Luxman is much better, so I am switching the Rotel out for a Music Fidelity M6SI500. I also have a Topping 90se, so having 3 pieces of equipment that have DAC's is nutty. I will likely keep the Topping to have more inputs since I picked it up for only 600. The Topping does MQA better than the Rotel and really isn't that far off from the Luxman. The Topping paired with an ICE amp my father in law had Henry Ho build for him gave me made me see why Andrew likes them so much. It's the H2O Audio Signature 250. It's ugly as hell, but is crazy fast and loud. It was designed and built specifically to drive 1 Ohm Apogee Scintilla's. No matter what preamp I pair with it, I have not gotten the volume control past 9 o'clock (6 is zero) on the dial. 9' o'clock position is right at 100 db sitting 12 feet away.
Excellent review. I personally like the black bar at the bottom as I don't like having a display stuck somewhere within a silver faced component. It is a personal choice, however.
We’ve had the R-N2000A for a couple months now and absolutely love it. We have the silver model with the black bar at the bottom (as Andrew demonstrated) and it looks great with our setup. We we’re definitely in love with the all-black model but weren’t willing to wait around for it to be available.
Hi, for me, it looks like my friends Pioneer amp back in the 70's. It's gorgeous!!! Even with the black bar. Thanks for your work, you confirmed my choice of the Rotel A11... I love it...regards
As much as I like Audiolab design and concept just love this amp!! Definitely on my list when the time comes to upgrade my 6000A play. Oh, and I'm with Kristi this time: all black for the win!
In the past you had to choose between beauty and modern features, "do i want a cabinet of black capable components or do i want to sacrifice features for a better looking product". Its really nice to see manufacturers noticing and stepping up when it comes to providing beautiful products that you can easily use with electronics that were made in this century! I've never been impressed with YPAO (well i suppose i was before the first time that i used dirac) but given that this is a stereo receiver, its probably acceptable for most circumstances. Really nice product, thanks for spending the time with it. For me personally i think i would pick the 7000A at half the price or wait for a new 9000 with HDMI. What a great time we live in
The 9000A from Audiolab isn't likely to get an HDMI input seeing as how it JUST came out (unless they do a running change). The 7000A is the one with the HDMI input and in terms of functionality, minus app streaming and room correction, the two are very comparable. YPAO is basically Yamaha's auto PEQ. I prefer this approach, I just prefer to do my own PEQ. But I will take YPAO over nothing. Thanks for watching as always!
Andrew's question to Kristi: "Who are you?!" 😅 Too funny! I'm so glad that you reviewed this product. The features in the R-N2000A are amazing for the price! Also, great reasoning for stepping up to the R-N2000A instead of settling for the Bluesound for streaming.
After having a little time to think about it, I really hope this Yamaha unit does REALLY well in the marketplace. Mainly because, if it does well, it will hopefully help to push the market into HDMI inclusion with more integrated units, which is only going to result in better choices for the consumer. We should all be cheering it on. 👍 Good job Yamaha!
I thought Yamaha RN1000A was it then I watch Technics SU gx 70. Ugh. But I am looking at Q Acoustics 5040 and with no Sub output On GX70 using the the B speaker terminal for a sub will reduce power too much. NNow the RN2000A is on sale $3200. I like it has better instrument separation than RN1000A. Is that a no brainer at$3200. Or is there a better integrated maybe with external streamer at that price point. Pairing with QA 5040 or ML Motion F20
Good morning friends! After learning that the black trim is functional, I am quite conflicted on my opinion of the styling here. Definitely like the combo of vintage vibes, modern technology, and HDMI support. I'm sure I'll add more when I finish the video, but I'm loving it so far! Great work.
I've got to go with team Andrew on this one. I do like the black bar at the bottom. That's basically a hidden little screen. I think that's awesome. Great video! Great discussion.
@@andrewrobinsonreviews I really feel it adds a very unique elegance and you know the first time you power it on is that surprise factor? I think it's awesome.
I'm a fan of the black bar. I'm even more of a fan of the font and mode of text display. For the longest time, the dot matrix or segmented LED look has made amp displays look like pagers from the 90's. Thank you, Yamaha, for getting it right.
After watching this video I knew the RN2000a would be just what I wanted for our living room. I have it set up with the Q Acoustics 5020 and it sounds great in our not so perfect room. I’m glad I went with the 2000 over the 1000. Thanks again for the review.
I have to agree with Kristi on this one...I'd prefer the full black aesthetic...it just looks weird with the bar on the bottom...and I think it would make the meters pop a bit too with an all black front
team Andrew all the way, the screen's hiding spot is amaizing. The black version looks nice too but nothing beats the other colour in the aesthetics department.
The Yamaha is a beautiful piece of gear. A very well done retro look. Maybe they could replace the black stripe at the bottom with frosted glass. It could still be a display but blend in better.
Sorry Andy, team Christie all the way. Much prefer the Audiolab styling and generally not really into the whole vintage styling look, whether it's speakers or amps. Love the content though, so keep up the good work!👍
Thank you for this detailed review of the Yamaha R-N2000A. I see that you have also tested a very similar product from NAD, the C399 model. Could you please briefly point out the differences. Which unit has the better sound quality? Since I am about to purchase one, an answer would possibly help me make the right choice.
I absolutely love Andrew and Kristi. There conversation at the end is always my favorite. I ended up going with an Anthem STR integrated and a BlueSound node streamer to drive my Maggie 1.7i for 2 channel. I tried arc but prefer stock tuning. Plan to get a pair of rel T9x so will active ARC for bass management at that point.
@@jstoli996c4s I needed the anthem due to it damping factor plus being rock solid stable at 2 ohms to drive the Maggie’s. I was surprised at how good the onboard Dac is but not as excited about the ARC results. I think with duals subs I’ll see the benefit of it though. Have no experience with the Michi but did own the Hegel h160 and demo’d the h190.
Happy to see the power meters. I miss my old Sony integrated amp from the 80s that had those blue power meters. I like the Silver color and I don´t mind the black strip.
Nice review. The combo A-S1200 + external DAC/streamer could be more future-proof than the R-N2000A. Those devices seem built like tanks, so both will likely work forever. The DAC/streamer component will likely improve in the following years, whereas the amplifier part has reached a plateau. So, if you have the combo, you may buy just a new DAC/streamer and keep going when the DAC/streamer part becomes obsolete. With the R-N2000a, you are stuck in the present configuration or depend on software updates, but you have to change everything for the hardware update when the DAC/streamer part becomes obsolete. Price-wise, the R-N2000A is about 3.150 euros, whereas the A-S1200 is about 1.900 euros at the present time in Italy. With about 1.250 euros, which is the difference between the two units, you can likely buy an excellent DAC/streamer (i.e., the Eversolo DMP-A6 Master Edition for just 1.250 euros or the standard Eversolo DMP-A-6 for about 900 euros or whatever you want cheaper or more expensive). You will miss only YAPO probably. My apologies for the long comment, but I am just thinking about one of those two purchases and splitting hairs...
Thank you for your input on the A-S 1200 vs R-N2000a cos I was splitting hairs too on which one to consider on my next upgrade.I would go with the A-S 1200 cos I don't need all the other features the R-N2000a provide.
Actually Re: Adding a Bluesound Node to an AS1200 - Buesound devices can learn codes from other devices, so you could use the Yamaha remote play, pause, forward buttons to control the node.
Good morning! Something great to digest with Sunday breakfast. All valid points in the post-review discussion. It reminds me of a resto-mod in the car world. Mostly classic look with the added racing stripe and modern features. This is very tempting for a 2.1 setup. Thanks for bringing it to us.
Soooo glad I saw this! Until I saw this, I was thinking of eventually buying the Yamaha A-S1200 based on other reviews but I was disappointed as to its “too analog-ishness”. (I gave up LP’s back in the 1980’s.) With the Yamaha A-S1200 (at least “on paper”), it seemed too limited although I loved the look of its build quality and the fact that it weighed almost 50 lbs. among other things. I’m sure it sounded amazing too. But there was no HDMI, thus to me, really no GOOD way to connect a smart TV as well as stream anything directly via Qobuz, my Hi-Res service. It seems the Yamaha R-N2000A now answers all my concerns and I was elated when I saw this review. “The Future of Hi Fi” is right! Time to save my bucks now.
Or the 1200 (or 2200) in combo with a decent streamer such as the Atoll ST 200 (or 300) Signature - the sound quality is amazing at a competitive price 😃
Hi Andrew! Hi Kristi! QotD. Team Andrew! I like the silver and the meters and the knobs, and the black doesn't bother me a bit. Suggestion/request: Made in America list (if that's even still a thing. Other than Klipsch or spend 10k+ on any one single item)??? I don't know how international your audience is. If you have a lot of overseas viewers, maybe they'd like to support manufacturing in their respective countries as well??? Maybe worth having a couple "made-in-X" companies/products reviewed???? Just a thought. Thank you for your channel!!!
I will be Team Andrew on this one. I am a big Yamaha fan. I do understand the critical reviews that the get from time to time, but they are still one of my favorites.
Nice review guys. Can’t wait for the Audiolab 7000 review though. So excited and hopefully get to hear what’s your take on pairing it with B&W bookshelves.
I couldn’t super chat your last reply to me but would you still recommend the n2000A over the more expensive a-s3200? I can upgrade to the s3200 for an additional $2500 but wondering if there will be a noticeable sound difference to justify the price. Not really interested in playing the upgrade game down the line so just wondering what your opinion would be for my Cornwall IVs
I ditched surround sound years ago because I couldn’t fit it In My small home. I currently use a Sansui Eight with a Bluesound Node which gives me ARC so I also use it for TV. I honestly couldn’t be happier. Plus my wife likes the simplicity of it. Let alone the fact that it just sounds better than my old AVR
The black bar design at the bottom is a combination of art deco design and vintage.. in my opinion.. it looks great .. glad they did it. It's a distinct class for the piece.
This amp basically solves every single gripe I have with modern Stereo components and their long stagnation they’ve been in. It’s well overdue to have HDMI in every god damn stereo amp today. Just do it. Also, personally, I don’t mind the black strip on the silver model, I think it looks kind of interesting, but that’s just me. Black unit looks better for sure though. It seems like this is a proper modern day stereo amplifier for those who want it all without sacrificing sound quality or build quality. Tax return can’t come sooner. Great video and conversation!
@@andrewrobinsonreviews it definitely seems like the one I should have for an extremely long time. It looks good, its sound signature is right up my alley and I know Yamaha builds good stuff, hell my trumpet of choice is Yamaha, so I know it first hand when it comes to quality. Great video!
Been waiting for this review ever since I saw one of these at the HiFi shop, I own a Yamaha AS2200 and have no desire to get one of these but WOW they have done a great job with this new one, anyway great reviews guys and I won't say keep up the good work as you are very lucky to be able to get your hands on all of this wonderful gear to play with and make a living, that just means you do a great job to be able to do that
Thanks for a great review! Re. Display bar, I’m on “Team Kristy”. 😊 Also, I noticed Yamaha has discontinued the r-n602 and 803 units that were more budget network receivers. While I like the “all in one” convenience, I decided to replace my 602 with an a-s2200 and external streamer/dac for priority on sound quality.
Team Andrew for me on this one. I like the silver face, and the dark bar at the bottom is tolerable. Not sure if it was mentioned in the review, but Yamaha added a loudness control. That item is absent on the A-S1200, 2200 and 3200. It's a really nice feature to have when listening at lower volumes.
I’m for the integrated amp (S2200) plus something like the Node X because of tech change. A quality integrated amp will last 20 years easily. Tech ? 5 years before improvements and changes makes me want to update. Great video!
I'm Team Andrew on this one as far as design/color choices. I looked at pictures of the Black design and they're two different shades and textures of black. I find that annoying. At least with the Silver design there are some contrasting/complementary colors with the silver and black. What would be cool though is if the meters on the Silver had a black background/white lettering to go with the black bar at the bottom. That's how I would roll...
If you own Yamaha receiver which uses MultiCast and you struggle with sound stutter: Problem occurs more likely if you use higher bandwidth transmission e.g. FLAC 192kHz. It is observable just few seconds after starting playing new track. It affects many well known Yamaha products e.g. my WXC-50. The problem is unrelated to specific sound format (FLAC/AAC) or service (e.g. Spotify, Qobuz). Workaround: Switch off WiFi and connect Ethernet. Notice that you have to explicitly turn off WiFi. Plugging the Ethernet cable won't fix the problem by itself.
Because audiophiles have convinced themselves they don't need them or that it makes them less of an audiophile if they do...something like that. I'll throw in added cost as a treat. :-)
@@KristiWright As someone who rocks an analog integrated amp (Naim Supernait 3), Bluesound Node, subwoofer and uses a TV, I’m ready to order this today.
OMG dangling the carrot with that Anthem review. Sitting in my hands waiting for that. Pretty much the deciding factor on hitting the checkout button on that or not. Also read some very old reviews from Andrew in the Parasound A51 and A31 amplifiers from over 10 years ago which have me thinking about an MRX1140 combo with a A31 for LCR power and use the MRX to power surrounds and height channels. The new Sony ES is also in the running to pair with that A31.

Adding Christy to this channel was one of the best decisions you ever made bro- she has good sense and balances you perfectly. The RN 2000A has a lot of bells and whistles, but it seems like the Audiolab 9000A seems the better component if one doesn’t want/need all of that other stuff.
@@andrewrobinsonreviews Thank you so much for your reply. Much appreciated.
As always, looking forward to your next video
I just bought this receiver based on your review. I got a deal for 2799.99. Had to grab it. Thanks for your advice. I know I’ll love it.
Do you like it?
Gorgeous! Yes, I love the use of the black stripe for the hidden display.
Thanks for the review! Absolutely beautiful looking amplifier! And that black bar , is genius.
new amp with vintage look, I love it, these VU meters 😍
I ❤️ YAMAHA!
Thank you!
Did you try out the Yamaha loudness control?
I remember when audiophile was far cheaper and easier. Glad to still see it active, but moving far beyond my current budget.
13:19 the all black looks fantastic
Thank you for your informative reviews. The teamwork you and Kristi have make these reviews enjoyable as well. Your reviews are helping me formulate what I want and need from a receiver/amp. So many questions to be asked for another day to revamp my circa 2005 3.1 setup. Enjoy your weekend!
Great job, guys! I had been eagerly awaiting this review. Wish I had a reason to buy this unit.
It has variable loudness control -- a great feature for improving sound quality at low listening volumes
-ML F100
- Concept 50
- Focal K2 936
Technics SU-G700M2 Grand Class
Rotel 1592 Mk 2
Cam EVO 150
Thanks for the support! Sounds like you're about to have a lot of fun! As for my desert island setup, I honestly don't know. Probably something really simple, like a pair of Beolab 28s, or the Logans or Klipsch speakers with a really good integrated like the R1000 from Technics.
Michael, you got that right. Though I bought a big Luxman integrated amp sight and song unheard and never looked back.
This has been one of the funnier reviews you both have done. Meme and GIF material. Thanks yall
Fine review of another retro piece of gear with some modern twist!.
Excellent review! I LOVE the look of this unit.
It's a beauty!
Great review guys…love the comparisons…and “who are you?” 😂. Keep it coming.
I like how the black bar looks like a throwback to the Yamaha CA-700.
GREAT POINT!!!
I am chocked that you didn't mention Yamahas very special and unique variable loudness.
Great work.
I definitely like the direction Yamaha is going, Andrew is 💯 correct when comparing this to Rotel (and the 1200+node option)
I've got to go with team Andrew on this one. I do like the black bar at the bottom. That's basically a hidden little screen. I think that's awesome. Great video! Great discussion.
Nick always has my back!
@@andrewrobinsonreviews I really feel it adds a very unique elegance and you know the first time you power it on is that surprise factor? I think it's awesome.
Intergrateds are my favorite thing yall review, and I've been waiting for this one!
Hope it was worth the wait!
@@andrewrobinsonreviews it always it!
Thanks for your hard work guys! Hope you can get the new 2023 QD-Oled eventually
Just installed a new OLED in our bedroom yesterday and I have to say, it's kicking butt already!
For Cornwall IVs, would you recommend this Yamaha R-N2000A or the marantz 40n? or any other suggestions? Thanks!
I likely would go with the 2000A at this point as it's a little more flexible and it sounds great with our Cornwalls!
A great review guys again. I am with Andrew team here as for the black bar. I believe it is genius
I have to agree with Kristi on this one...I'd prefer the full black aesthetic...it just looks weird with the bar on the bottom...and I think it would make the meters pop a bit too with an all black front
I think the design ques are on point, honouring the old whilst embracing the new. Very elegant
What I find funny is that my local Hifi specialist classed the RN2000 as an A/V receiver, but both audio Labs as stereo amplifiers
Appearance of it is stunning and black bar just elevate it
not first but still happy to be here, hope you two are having a great sunday
Thanks and the same to you!
Nice review of a nice looking amplifier! Black bar looks fine to me.
team Andrew all the way, the screen's hiding spot is amaizing.
Love the content though, so keep up the good work!👍
The black bar is one of the things I like most about it
I am with Kristi on the black bar across the bottom-eesh, what were they thinking? This was a great review!
I like that Anthem STR and the Michi X3.
Top advice. First fix the base (int. amp) and add digital components to it. Invest once in the amp only.
Thanks for watching. More importantly, what was for breakfast?
Cheese omelette and biscuits!
Excuse me Sir ! Love the channel dam you have came a long ways been with you since day1 keep up the good work -
Nice review guys. Can’t wait for the Audiolab 7000 review though. So excited and hopefully get to hear what’s your take on pairing it with B&W bookshelves.
Hi Andrew. Just ordered KLH model 5’s after watching your review! Is this rn2000a a good match? Thx!
The 2000A has WAY more features and flexibility than the 3200. The 3200 is great, but for Cornwalls, the 2000A is more than enough IMHO.
Thought you'd like this one Vadym!
The black bar isn't that bad, especially since it's actually functional.
Maybe marantz floatin look better
Been waiting for this review ever since I saw one of these at the HiFi shop, I own a Yamaha AS2200 and have no desire to get one of these but WOW they have done a great job with this new one, anyway great reviews guys and I won't say keep up the good work as you are very lucky to be able to get your hands on all of this wonderful gear to play with and make a living, that just means you do a great job to be able to do that
Agree with Kristy on the looks. All black would be better than a split.
Good choice. Streamers and DACs come and go, but a good amp stays.
Yamaha would sell as many n2000s if the n803 still existed. It was/is a great piece.
Love the black bar at the bottom
Sweet looking unit, especially the meters!
It looks sooooo good!
That loudness feature will probably be in all A-SX300 models.
I still have my S2100 and still love it 😊. Great review!
I’m for the integrated amp (S2200) plus something like the Node X because of tech change. A quality integrated amp will last 20 years easily. Tech ? 5 years before improvements and changes makes me want to update. Great video!
That is one of the most beautiful modern pieces of gear I've seen. Like Kristi I love the meters. Edit: but unlike Kristi I like the black stripe.
Glad to see Yamaha stepping it out. Great features and wonderful separation and detail sounds like a winner.
A looker and sounds great too. It's nice to see manufactures stepping up their design chops.
I like the black bar, you WIN
If you own Yamaha receiver which uses MultiCast and you struggle with sound stutter:
Problem occurs more likely if you use higher bandwidth transmission e.g.
Well, if my RN803 goes down I’ll pick that up!
Why in the world has it taken manufacturers so long to offer products like this?? It’s pretty much perfect.
Because audiophiles have convinced themselves they don't need them or that it makes them less of an audiophile if they do...something like that. I'll throw in added cost as a treat. :-)

As someone who rocks an analog integrated amp (Naim Supernait 3), Bluesound Node, subwoofer and uses a TV, I’m ready to order this today.
@@CJL36 If you do, I sincerely hope you enjoy it!
