I can only imagine how that feels, since I’ve been around since she dropped Cutiemarks. Her music is peak, I struggle to fathom how she puts out so much good stuff, unbelievable amounts of talent.
@@u1f98a i had a whole things written out but basically you can hear mixing even through an MP3. Mixing is something that has to do with the way the sounds are put together its not something that's lost in compression. It is stupid to be complaining about it tho.
After Ace’s consistent advocating for this album, I just listened to the full album last night (video to be edited and made soon) and listening to this again through the reaction reminds me of why I fell so in love with the song and album, even with the subject matter being so tough to swallow at points.
When i was still active in the Brony community I downloaded as many of the community collaboration albums from Bandcamp as i could, but Vylet was one of the few artists i actually went out of my way to search for individually to add to my library. Unfortunately ive since done a purge of all my Brony music, but someone brought this album to my attention who knew i used to be a listener and im honestly thinking of redownloading their discography now.
i see this album on my bandcamp recommended all the time and im just like what the shit is this lmao, turns out its actually good so far if this video is anything to go by (havent finished yet)
not the biggest fan of this album overall, but this song was definitely my favorite i heard. beast of a track and vylet pony is not to be underestimated
@@iamshellrock The sax break has alot of ITCOTCK by King Crimson to it and while it may not be exactly prog rock, it still has alot of progressive components to it in my opinion.
lmao all of the people in his chat going "mid" "0/10" "furry trash" and then as soon as he gives his rating those same people are like "mm couldn't have said it better myself it's a perfect 10"
sounds pretty amazing, but it would be PERFECT if i hadnt figured out just how "my little pony hypersexual fan fiction"-pilled it is. that knowledge alone, as well as the literal 7 LINE trigger warning makes it something i will probably never listen to again, despite how good it is.
Honestly if it's good it's good. I personally wouldn't be ashamed of stuff that I think is good just because it's cringe. That being said yeah triggering stuff is triggering, unless you're bothered by there even being trigger warnings in which case what's the point of that?
what does "my little pony hypersexual fan fiction-pilled" even mean here 😭 Vylet over recent years have explicitly shied away from anything sexuality related (she even changed the cover of an old single that was mildly risque to feature nothing of the sort), and this album is the first time that topic is brought up - and it's done so in the context of telling a story largely about her own life (through her characters), and having to deal with the process of reclaiming sexuality from a traumatic past...
First of all, "my little pony hypesexual fan fiction-pilled" is one of the most bonkers things that I've ever read and couldn't be a worse description of this song, album, or artist. Not to mention this is like the one album that I think where she doesn't mention MLP or Brony culture at all, so that makes this even more wrong. The warning actually is there because Vylet has never over the course of her like 11-12 years as a musician, been this explicit about any of the topics this album is about. Some people don't want to listen to such a dark, depressing experience, which could be especially true for someone who is familiar with their previous discography. You've somehow got lost in the sauce with no sauce present.
you have no idea how validating this is for vylet pony fans who have been following her journey since 2011-2012
