nice, thank you. I made a 12 x 8 cattle panel green house / then switch it to a lean-to. It is about eight + years old, I got to replace the green house plastic since it is taring now. I too wound have just used wood. The long side faces south since that side gets all the sun. I added auto windows to open if it gets too hot. I got low cost auto heater and to blower flows that would with the window openers since it can get in the 30's at night and 80's by 3pm. For the base I raise the 2x6 base onto concrete blocks and using 1 foot fasting all around the bottom. That has worked great.
My windows definitely aren't automatic. We keep track of the temperature in there, and I just open them when it gets too hot. The blocks on as the base sounds like a great idea. We always have to be so careful around those panels when we mow having something less fragile would help.
Glad this video was in my feed. I'm working on figuring out how to make a greenhouse that can withstand wind. One flew into the trees, even with weight holding it down. The other I installed really well to keep it from blowing away but the end wall blew out! I want to go with wood framing now, similar structure as this. one you have.
I've had a few of my attempts blow apart on me. I tried a little hoop house once, and that one didn't even make it 2 weeks. It always seems like it happens right after you plant in it or right when your food is just ready to harvest. I think the wood frame will help.

We use a compost heater we made to heat ours in the cold months.
Thanks for watching. If anyone has advice on how to improve the greenhouse, it would be greatly appreciated.

I am very proud of you, I think you did a great telling you had built your greenhouse. Looking forward to see what plants you can plant this winter
Thank you so much. Me too!
I didn't know it was so hard to cut the paneling.
Yeah, it was one of the most frustrating parts as we were building it.
@rockwallfarms208 I can understand why if it was that hard to cut.
@1110519546 I also remember putting up the roof panels, and a storm blew in. It was wild. I usually do good on ladders, but that one had me scared.
@rockwallfarms208 Yeah, ladders and wind storms are not too fun to pair up.
