As someone who has been married several times it’s better to be single and happy rather then married and lonely, depressed, angry, resentful etc..my best times were as a single woman not dating at all.
Stephan you are speaking facts. Now days some people are getting married just to get marry. I am not settling anymore. I know my worth. I don't have time trying to carry a relationship by myself. I would rather stay single for all that. A marriage takes two people to come together.

I have prayed to God a long time ago for that bond. I know God is going to bless me with the King that is worthy of the Queen that is in me. YES!! I just went through making this decision over the last 2-3 months. I had been with this man 23 months!!! 23 months!! Practically 2 years! I had had thoughts along the way wondering if this is all he is comfortable with or what. He asked me to marry him after a short time frame I thought but we were doing well and I thought we were going strong towards a future together. I did tell him I wanted to wait some time because I've been married and divorced a few times. I did NOT want another. After about 11 months I took him to meet my grown son and his family's to see there new Rotti and to have everyone meet. He went - things went fine (except I'm bilingual and he doesn't speak much English). After a month passed (in December) they told me to invite him for Christmas dinner with the fam. I did and I knew he has some problem with his own family and doesn't see them barely at all. I invited him to Christmas the first year. He never gave me answer until at the last minute I told him I'm leaving now. You coming too? Nah I invited him to the next year's Thanksgiving dinner, and Christmas with my family. His answer: "You know I don't even get together with my family for holidays." I see he will not even if it hurts me and I have bent over backwards far too hard and far too long - I'm done. He has no ambition. His entire life is what he wants to do. You described my ex complacent man perfectly. Get out fast ladies!

Sis your waiting is for the right man to propose to You. Allow the Lord to work on you while your waiting. And enjoy your singleness, time with God, and with yourself.
