One thing that is interesting is that normal grunt characters say that there are 25 districts, while people who specialize in information gathering like Gaze Office say that there are 26 districts. This means that District 26’s existence is not common knowledge in the City. Along with that, because of how Warp trains work, District 26 could literally be anywhere from space to a pocket dimension to underwater to underground.
Wasn't it a plot point that L. Corp fell so recently that people still referred to the 26th district? I could be making things up, but I think I remember this.
@@atsae1233 Spoiler for the most recent Limbus teaser In the teaser released showing off the story of level 1-4, Ishmael refers to Lobotomy Corp as “the previous L Corp”. Considering that the Limbus website says 26 districts, this means that there is a new L Corp (probably Limbus Company) and therefore there are still 26 nests.
I’m really thankful for this video because this will be easy way to get people who want easy info to play Limbus Company without the hassle of playing the other 2
@@DMrLeeds my friends who waiting for Limbus they are ever so thankful for this video And even asking me when part 2 lol It seem your video got their interest left and right

I didn’t even think about L corp using W corp’s singularity to get to and fro locations. Imagine how many times R corp had to use it to get down there lmao
Yup, Myo mentions it in I forget either her meeting Gebura in Lob Corp or in Gebura's dialog after, they would go in almost every day, almost twice a day some times, for almost 10 years. Inside the TT2 protocol it only seemed to be every once in a while when things would get real bad.
I am so glad this video exists. Project Moon does a great job slowly unwinding their setting over time, but man that makes hard having one comprehensive knowledge base on their world up to date
Good summary, pleasant voice. It's a nice refresher for Limbus, but I also think this is a pretty decent way to give people some background if they're starting at LobCorp.
Can't wait for the next video while I already read all the info about the city this video is still work as a great reminder about important info that I might forgot
Thank you so much for explaining everything so clearly! I’ve been playing library of ruina for a while and always felt confused about those concepts. Now it’s much clearer! And I really love the way you narrated the whole intro, dark, cold, yet fascinating! I’m kinda hoping there could be an anime or that based on this dystopian world, would be interesting!
@@DMrLeeds i just spent like an hour-ish kinda just binging all of your stuff (other than the FFXIV one), so already done~ i'll be waiting for your future work!
I could have sworn i kept hearinf mentions that the City is roughly the size of Belgium rather than a whole continent. Which is a bit concerning given how it was also said to be billions of people in the City based on the Limbus Promo. Im not too sure how accurate this is if someone could correct me
There certainly are conflicting accounts on both sides. Personally I like to believe the continent size given the billions of people comment and even if they were all living in super cramped conditions the logistics simply don’t work out.
the logistics don't really make sense so either the city is *much* larger than we think it is or there's some goofy ahh singularity from some corp that pocket dimensions for ppl to live in
@@sidekic1109for some goofy ass reasons the city map doesnt count ruins, which is where the sweeper mfs reside (and the head count the sweeper as the city residents too)
There’s a good bet of that. We know that monsters are tucked away far down below the city. So it’s not considered part of the city by the heads standard. It could be that it was teleported away and or remote 👀
I feel like you vastly overestimated how big the City is, according to the map of the city provided by Project moon (it has a scale provided) the city is only around 30k square kilometers. Which is only around the size of belgium. A far cry from continent sized.
Currently working on the next script. I’m torn between writing out all the scripts at once and then editing while I travel for work. I might have another video out next week though if time allows but I’m quite booked schedule wise
Still waiting for someone to come up with a comprehensive timeline of events for all of project moon’s games, ignoring the fact lobotomy Corporation is stuck in a timeloop, and that limbus company is still in the middle of the effects of Michelle’s betrayal.
Obligatory mention of ICoG from Xeelee Sequence. In Warhammer, you can still be a hero or a good guy, albeit it's very hard to do so. Under ICoG's watchful eye, if they see you fucking DARE to step just a bit out of line, you will immediately get arrested and punished by time-traveling NKVD/Gestapo/thought police hybrids. If you made a minor transgression, you and your past selves will be sent on suicide missions. If you broke some higher law, your very being is wiped from existence, erased from time.

There's no District 26 and Z. Corp, for some reason. Haven't played Limbus yet, so I dunno the reason for that.
