Well after years of waiting I was lucky enough to secure my own set of BBS LM's! Absolute dream wheels of mine and for them to be 5x100 just makes them perfect. Gonna need some refinishing love but nothing we cant handle!

Funny when i sold my vr6 jetta, the guy drove two hours to my city for the original seller to ghost him and found my car in marketplace and bought it that same night . So it worked out in the end for us 😂

I literally had the exact same thing happen to me 3 years ago. I bought my BBS 5x100 faces just like yours. The owner bought them new in the early 2000’s for a show GTI. He sold it to his friend who parked the car and never drove it. Wheels sat in the guys lawn for year. I bought the wheels and the GTi for $1,700, sold the car for $2k and kept the wheels. All in a got free LMs but had to rebuild them. Was not cheap to do but was well with it. I have a while video on it.

wanderful classic VW station wagon with BBS very hard to found. I have a 95 GTi VR6 with 40-000 original miles & last week finish to paint my BBS similar like yours but from BMW. Came to see it in Dallas Texas !!! Merry Cristmas!

5x100’s are actually still available on the bbs website.. so not hard to find at all, bbs rs’s in 5x100 are very hard to find ans expensive
I checked on bbs and didn’t see a 5x100 option but maybe I missed it. I know you can buy LM’s brand new but finding LM 145s is not easy at all. Only two sets for sale on German ebay and I haven’t seen any in the states as of right now for sale. But even if they offer a brand new 5x100 lm it’s slightly different than the older ones. Larger center cap, non bbs stamped hardware, and the sizes they offer. Through all the places that sell bbs LM’s I didn’t see an option for 18x8.5 et25. I see LM 090s which are 17in 5x100 but the 145s are rare. I’ve actually seen a ton of original 5x100 rs’s funny enough.

15 years ago, I was about to put them on my TT-QR.
But......around 1000$ per rim plus tires.......and only 18".......instead of these I was able to obtain very new forged parabol-wheels from a guy who worked for audi.....700$ for all 4.
i hate marketplace when it comes to getting parts. people are not held to a standard of selling item

Merry Christmas! I love the wagon set up for sure! She looks super nice. I've still got my 03 reflex silver sedan, sans motor, if you want it! Take it. Free. The bumper was messed up, but the fenders, hood and the rest of the car is good to go. The only stuff I want off it is the tubular lowers, coilovers and brake rotors, pads etc...
