    A little trick for getting a lot more of the air out is to stick a straw in the middle of the baggie, suck the air out while you’re pulling the straw out.. once you pull the straw out, then seal it real quick.. works GREAT!! Stay blessed

    Pro-tip: find a local bakery, ask them what they do with their empty icing/fondant buckets. If they normally throw them out, ask them to hold them for you. They are typically 5 gallon, food-safe, and easy to clean, and should have lids.

Even weather can cause you to need things they say at least 6 months worth. Let's hope we never have to use it. I am a retired organic chemist. I used to use our laboratory freeze dryer to remove all of the water from water solutions that contained peptides (polymers of amino acids, small proteins) leaving a fine white fluffy powder that could be stored and weighed for bioassays. I have never water glassed eggs. Once you remove the eggs from storage what do they look like? You are fortunate to have your house on your homestead where you are probably safer should the SHTF.

    • @carolynjohnson6792
      @carolynjohnson6792 7 месяцев назад +1

      Not necessarily safer really. If people are starving where do you think they'll go for food - people in apartments, condos Or people in the country that normally raise chickens, pigs, goats, cows & have a garden to freeze & can their foods from the garden. GOD Bless You 🙏
      Love 🌻 from Apex NC 💜

    • @gmcenroe
      @gmcenroe 7 месяцев назад

      @njohnson6792 That is why I don't follow the many prepper channels because if the SHTF you either need an army to protect your supplies or very well hidden bunkers. In any case there will always be a fighting force somewhere bigger than your own. In an urban setting there may be a higher density of poorly prepared looters than in a rural or hidden location though. Thank you and GOD bless you as well from California.
