The Prix gives a set list of variations, a small one at that, and competitors have to choose between them and decide which one to perform. What happens is a lot of the competitors end up dancing the same variations because of it.

How are the routines chosen? I've noticed a lot of dancers are doing the Swanilda variation. Several dancers did the La Bayadère variation, too.

Ghosty144 I believe that their teacher choose the variation that suits them best.
