Brilliant video! Got a GTS earlier this spring but haven't had time to dive deep into it yet, this gave me a bunch of ideas to try out. I'd love to see what more you come up with using it!
Maths is a great swiss army knife tool, but the GTS is like a samurai sword. Serge in general with the precision & power is just on another level. I am becoming very enamored with this new generation of Serge modular! Brilliant demo
Around 5:00 if we wanted pulse wave output I think we should use the red output. The end output is going to be a very small duty cycle compared to red output which should be 50-60%
so what happens if something goes into IN and the slope is triggered ? does the signal cutoff go to 0 the ramp fires fully and on the end it slews back to the IN input ?
Not sure with this one but on the DUSG Mk2 the in is slewed according to rise and fall and replace for it’s duration the triggered function. I use it often with triggers at the trig in and momentary gates of a different rhythm to the IN.
@@Stazma ah i see so it doesn't go to 0 instead slews to the peak of the ramp ? so on a slow rise rate and its momentarily triggered it tries to go to the peak but slews Back to the in if the gate goes low
The GTO is the successor of the SSG (Smooth and Stepped Generator), while the GTS is the successor of the DUSG (Dual Universal Slope Generator) - both are tracking 1V/Oct over 6+ Octaves!
Hey! I'm seeing you use Pam Pro with Random*Source, my whole plan kind of revolves around this. Is it possible to fry EuroSerge with the Pam Pro? Maybe noob question.
Amazing how different GTS and maths sound as oscillators. The Serge sound is so good and so interesting how the modules work. Nice video!
And don't forget that the GTS tracks perfectly to 1V/Oct over 5 to 6 Octaves!
My dreams are now filled with a system based around a GTS and a GTO.
The GTVoice ;-)
Amazing Video - great job!! Merci beaucoup!
It was a lot of fun ;-)
Ça faisait un moment que je l'attendais celle là ! Le combo Maths/GTS est vraiment parfait !

Montreal here: my dude, a beautiful showcase and briliant insights.... WE WANT MORE STAZMA, Danke meine Herr

True but I like that narrow pulse sometimes.
Sounds very impressive
Jacks on the top that’s what’s up

we need more serge stuff. thanks. btw. is it better then the older gto?
Not better but different, the GTO was a beast of it's own kind. I'm sure one could do a pretty crazy synth voice with just these two.

I'm listening to this music in a bar on headphones, 🦕🖤🍄
got no more space for modules, but loving the behringer abacus
Hahaha

Ah just read the specs, both 0-5V so should be good I guess.
Indeed Pam is right the expected range of the Serge in eurorack land ;-)
@@Stazma Perfect!
just get this one, and also got 2хMaths
