Dupré did a studio version of this piece, although it is available only on LP vinyl (Mercury "Golden Imports".) It is very good, although I bought the recording over Amazon for the Prelude and Fugue in D, BWV 532, which is awesome. You will be wowed by both recordings, performed in Saint Sulpice!

Marcel Dupre was 77 years old at the time of this recording. pretty amazing considering the crippling arthritis in his hands.

Amazing - where do you find these recordings? I had no idea that a recording of Dupré playing BWV 543 even existed - thank you!
He also recorded the BWV 543 at St Sulpice in the '50 for Philips.
