Very interesting
Would this work to keep a car window up to keep rain out
Is this type of pump action pump also ok for wooden panels? Or do you reckon the surface of wood is too porous and electric vacuum pump is the only option? Happy to hear from you. cheers from amsterdam
This will work if the surface isn't textured, you just need to watch the lifter. I point out that line that indicates if you are losing suction, you can easily repress the plunger while carrying the panel, which is just the manual equivalent of what the electric pump is doing. If you have a smooth surfaced timber panel, you'll get a good seal and won't lose suction.
If I used it on an indoor ceiling, could I hang a 5KG light from it permanently?
No
I m looking for something to stick to ceilings (flat painted surface) so I can attach a hair dryer for drying plaster patches . For about 10 minutes at a time. Will yours do this?
If you get a good seal it would. If there's any texture on the ceiling surface you may slowly lose suction over ten minutes.
Can you use these for lifting concrete blocks? Cheers
You'd need a smooth enough suface to get a good seal on. So depending on the finish on the concrete block.
Will this work for car winshield???
Yes
