well its easy, the extended fingerboard with no frets its just an area, where doublethumping is a looooot easier. The bar between the pickups is very often seen on boutique basses. Its just an extension for the area, where you can put your thumb on. :) no subtitles needed and I didnt understand a freakin word :D greetings from germany!
