He is looking at his games as a Scotland player, but everyone needs to remember that Johnstone wasn't liked by the Scotland fans like most Celtic players playing for Scotland at that time. That made things difficult for Jimmy when your own support was not behind you. With Celtic though he was the BEST EVER.

Jimmy Johnston was a very good player, however, not in the same league as Sir Stanley Matthews.
Johnstone was a genius, but Matthews for longevity for sure.
