"i'm in hell without you, cannot cope without you two" brings chills down my spine
That song is the writings of someone going through active childhood neglect and abuse. I understand why they rarely play the song live. 😭💪
Same man. "You clipped my wings before I learned to fly" hits even harder for me...
@@Format314un-dieing spite I feel for you.... Wow
@@MEnTAL_health_MILITIAi honestly think it has more to do with the fact that the song is obscenely difficult by Metallica standards
Idk why but The Judas Kiss chorus riff jumped to mind first for me...
that is a pretty sweet riff
My first thought was the shortest straw
It was my ringtone for years
The Judas Kiss goes so hard. One of my favorite Metallica songs
Master of puppets pre chorus is good
Personally I find frayed ends of sanity to be one of Metallica's best choruses. It's catchy, interesting and badass
I always thought AJFA, and this song in particular, had alot of riffs that have a kind of hopping rhythm to them. They're really good to run or lift to!
bro fr, pace on that song is excellent for running
@StateOfMercury and if I don't listen to the actual songs, I listen to your covers of them!
Keep up the great work, big fan of the channel 💪
@@coreysmithson4002 you can almost hear the 80s sweatbands
You can hear in almost every way that James was at the wheel of that album.
Ive always enjoyed the instrumental Damage Inc riff 🤟🏻
fuck yeah, damage inc such a good track
...dont get me wrong. This riff kicks butt also. Faster the better 😁
If Darkness had a son's chorus riff is fire too
the bridge section after the solo is just phenomenal
I would unironically say "For Whom the Bell tollz"
I still feel as cool now as the first time I managed to play that ca 25 years ago 😎
Nice to see you again on RUclips, a hug from Mexico my dear friend xd
Dyer's Eve was always my favorite on Justice. Such an underrated song. The only other 'tallica song that comes close it in sheer ferocity is Damage, Inc.
I stared at this video in my notifs because I wanted to watch it later. I figured it would probably be a sick riff off of 72S but for some reason right before I clicked on it I heard dyers Eve in my head. Don’t know if it was the thumbnail that was similar to another video or something but just had that gut feeling this was about to be dyers Eve and I love it.
Now that I think about it, it was probably the positioning of your hand on the guitar in the thumbnail.
good eye
Innocence, torn from me without your shelter
Barred reality, I'M LIVING BLINDLY!
I agree, one of my favorite
I remeber hearing this sing before any other of metallica "thrash" era that wasn't ones everyone knows. Basically instantly turned up the speakers and kept thinking idk what the fuck this is but i love it.
daamn, bro whats your guitar? looks awsum
I just love the timing changes on dyers eve. Metallica always ends it with a banger, damage inc being pretty similar to this one but more straightforward.
This is literally the riff i play when i warm up. The hetfield tapes of dyers eve are so good
Disposable Heroes why am I dying line before solo goes pretty hard in the song
Dyers eve is such an underrated song, probably one of my personal favorites
Dyers Eve is easily one of my favorite Metallica songs, and this riff is one the reasons why
Man... if we were in high school together you would have been my best friend hahaha. Kidding aside, I made some life long friends when I was a teenager because of Metallica. Keep up the amazing work
Yes
One of their best songs! Not just the chorus
Make it longer please
Yes.
I’d say it’s Shortest Straw or Sanitarium
welcome to where time stands still
This is my favorite metallica song in my opinion Dyers Ever is unmatched its just crazy i cannot explain especially when to live is to die before it its just unbelievably amazing i dont really like one much bc this song is just so good
I don't know, but that tone - rawer than the rest of AJFA - really gets burnt into your mind.
1. No Remorse
2. Judas Kiss
3. Master of Puppets (if we include the pre-chorus)
4. Dyer's Eve
5. Chasing Light
Honorable mention: the final chorus in Until it Sleeps is bacon
Agree 100% on No Remorse
DEAR MOTHER DEAR FATHER
Judas Kiss
The fight fire with fire chorus riff Id say is on par with dyers eve
tis also a great riff
Absolutely, I would go with creeping death for the win tho on RTL
DEER MOTHER DEER FATHER 🦌🦌
Can you tell me what plug-in this is? All I want is justice tone
I believe for this one I was using ML5 from ML soundlab
yes
Could be, it's my favourte Metallica song.
I’m in hell without you! Cannot cope without you two! Shocked at the world that I see! Innocent victim please rescue me!
Yes have you heard the 1988 James ai it sounds so accurate please come back and justify more tunes.
Please?!😢
Is it weird that I’m a bass player, and my favorite Metallica album is And Justice For All? Lol
Man, that riff rips.
Wohoooo 👌🏽💪🏽🤓🔥🚬😎🫡🍀 lucky Day
One of the best ! Sure
Yes, something faster and unusual on the album.
i would make a cover of dyer's eve but changing the 0:09 part to bay way more thrashy like rest of the song, i relly dont like how it changed to one of the songs my mom listens to.
That is there best son hands down
Sometimes I listen dyers eve guitar track (specially part you play) over and over again.
Definitely one of the best
A tie with Judas Kiss.
Yes, except everyone thinks it's 232323. Its just the 2's.
when I see someone advocating for 232323 I know they are a flat earther
But... but... wobbly finger!!
Tbh, I think that came from the days when classically trained musicians were the ones who were writing the tab books and they just didn't understand the guitar tone on the album (or metal in general) and misinterpreted the fast, "tremolo" style picking through the Mesa Mk2 distortion as 2 separate notes.
A lot of the tab books before the Internet were pretty criminal if I'm honest, I'm sure a lot of the time there were deadlines and many "fuck it, that'll do" work submissions with the publishers none the wiser, only for thousands of eager guitarists to buy the book and spend hours trying to work out how to do the wobbly finger, or fit in impossible notes or some other stupidity.
I look at tab these days and it's a genuine pleasure compared to what it used to be in many cases.
can you do sum for me
No. The chours to One is my fav
Naw, it's The Judas Kiss. Song is bloated with some whatever riffs, but the chorus is where it's at.
Is the best your mom riff?
lmaooo I will ask her
Dyers
Easily best Metallica song. Nothing beats it
Obviously.
The best? No. But HIGHLY underrated
How is it underrated, is that just your opinion?
I kind of like You must burn! Chorus better than that. I know, I know. Don't hate me pls
"The God That Failed" imo. Hetfield sounds so depressed, disappointed (in a good way).
noup, in my opinion is better the chorus of "if darkness had a son",
"creeping death" "wherever i may roam"
Nahhh…. It’s cool but there’s better ones
Dyers is overrated for a Metallica song.
irrelevent
You're overrated
Nah it's literally their best song
That tone is so good, imo judas kiss is great
Yes.
