I really enjoy the battle. About the cavalry charge in the 15 minut. I think humans Knights have rule "Impact (X)" when charging and the Age of Fantasy Regiment rulebook says in the page 15 "..it deals X AUTOMATIC melee hits...". Because this, I thing the Knights deals 5 automatic hits plus anothers 5 automatics hits by they carried lances. Thank you for your Regiments battles ( my favorites) and sorry by my poor English.
This is correct. In fact i feel cavalry is overpowered in this ruleset. A 10 man lance cav unit does 20 auto hits against any target, on the charge (2 ranks of 5, thats 10 for horses and 10 for lances). that is virtually and auto wipe against 90% of units.
Really like those classic Nurgle demons. Good sculpt, and good paint job. Really brings them to life. A putrid, diseased mockery of life, but life nonetheless.
I always struggle to deal with those 2+ save demons. There's berty little in the human armour with high ap, I think ap(3) is the highest. I feel like maybe a lot of crossbows with rending would be one way to kill it. Or just maybe a lot of shots. Either way that was a fun game to watch and I love seeing the old warhammer minis
Nice battle report and nice models =) When to do a morale test whenever it takes wounds that leave it with half or less of its starting size or tough value (for units with a single model), so the nurglins or units with tough value that consist of 3 miniatures, only test when 2 models are down, not when the half of the wounds are lost.
Sort of, the great cannon is blast(3) so each successful hit makes 3 hits as long as there are atleast that many models/tough in the target unit. So his first salvo should have been 6, but it's an easy thing to confuse.
13:25 I thought that each hit with blast cannot exceed the number of units in the target. So if you have blast 3 and hit a unit of 5 twice, then you get 6 hits.
I’m confused by how blast works. We played a game of Grimdark Future where five terminators with blast hammers wiped out a 10 man unit of infantry, but then folks said the total number of hits couldn’t exceed the total number of defenders. So I am unclear on the issue.
@@oldhammered From the most recent rules update : "The biggest change that affects all games is to the Blast rule. Until now, the Blast rule was essentially just fluff, as it was a straight multiplier to the number of hits dealt. With this new version, we wanted to give the Blast rule more functionality by making it ignore cover, as well as giving it a specialized anti-horde role. Blast now can’t deal more hits than models in the target, which means that now a weapon with A1 Blast(6) firing at a lonely hero or tank can only deal max. 1 hit to it."
working on my "Chivalrous Kingdom of totally not bretonnia" as I watch this
What soldiers do you use? Im building a 750 point army as a starter but im Not sure yet.
The game was very entertaining to watch. Canon animation looks so good and adds a nice flavour. Thank you for a great battle report!
Love Age of Fantasy Regiments, such a good system!
5 failed 4+ armour saves from the knights on that cannon shot... I felt that one.
Age of Fantasy Regiments is definitely my favourite of the One Page Rules games.
Great little game; the colored movement trays help with IDing units
Awesome game. Thank you for sharing
Fun vid!
Great game and always enjoy the OPR battle reports (especially regiments)
Great video! MORE OPR content, please!

@@bretta6783 At least, Cavalry don't have AP
@@cristianlb1757 Lances have AP2 on the charge (at least they do in current version of the rules)

Classic Knight Panther there holding the standard !
Fun game. I've never played rank and flank.
Such a fantastic collection. Such a fantastic battle report.
OPR v3 just dropped, and the new spellcasting system is pretty neat. I would love to see a battle report from you guys with the recent update.
Really good stuff
Enjoyable 1st game of the New Year. Thanks - and a great 2023 to you both.
seeing all these oldhamer minis makes me wish i could go back to the WH Fantasy days! 😩
Happy New Year, glad to see you guys back. Your OPR especially is always a treat
Love Oldhammer :D

Just came across this. Amazing content. Would love to see more.
Ye olde plastic chaos warriors !!
Feels like AoF:R needs a 5th or 6th turn some times. Great BR!
I know, right?

Sweet!
I think Blast is for each instance. So you rolled 2 hits each would be blast 5 because there is 5 units so 10 hits total

Wouldn't the cannon only be able to move 3" even with artillerist?
That’s correct.
Great game! Who makes that great cannon model?
That is the unpainted Large Cannon from Wizkids.
I think you let get yourself distrakted by the Nurglings too much.
How many points?
