I learned to drive on a '58 Buick back in the very early 60's. I have always loved those cars and even now drive a Buick Enclave. I kept hoping that one day I could own another '58 but time has caught up with me and I don't have enough left to keep searching for a good one. So good to see this one being restored and appreciated.

    No port holes?

Yeah… the portholes went away for 1958-1959 but made their way back in 60. Wonder whose call that was a why?
      Thanks for the comment!

@@freedom1garage Wow! I had no idea. My 1954 Buick Super and my grandma's 1961 LeSabre all had the holes. I don't even recall ever seeing one without the holes, so I just assumed that someone had taken them off. Never too old to learn something new.

Close on the engine size. It’s actually a 364.

@@ericesterby2895 Dang you are so right. We’ve also been working on the 1962 Binder C110 with the 266 V8. Too many projects, even the engines are bleeding together! Thanks for the comment!!

A shame not to dolly out that small dent behind the trim after finding a perfect moulding.

I gotta wholeheartedly disagree with ya on this one. Dollying the ding behind the chrome would have likely done more damage to the original paint. Also, not our hotrod, customer’s call and I agree. Thanks for your input and thanks for watching!
