Golden. Solid advise. They do not teach this in schools. They didn't back in early 2000s when I was in high school, and they sure as heck don't teach it now. The information in this video, as with like all of your videos is valuable Casey. You are making the world a better place. -walker

I remember serving a rich, successful business man one after noon at a resort a few years back. He told me that he had to install cameras all over his strip malls because people would try to get injured on his property just so they could sue him. It was an interesting and memorable conversation. He talked about spending hundreds of thousands of dollars over the last couple years just dealing with the issues related to legal fees and camera instillation. All because of icky, crooked people trying to get get rich quick through fraudulent injuries. He did make an aside about legit injuries, that he doesn't have a problem helping someone who gets hurt and it is actually his property's fault... But he had stories man, people are ridiculous.

I also had discussions with businessmen/women about similar situations...
I ran my own business for most of my 20's and early 30's. I had some scummy despicable clients that cost me time and money, some would even try and throw the whole "integrity" thing in my face. All I wanted to do was slap the person. I realized I was not great a dealing with bad people. It is one reason I decided to change careers for a while to take a step back and reanalyze what I want out of running my own business.

Sound advice. Good metrics to see if one is able and willing. School is not a guarantee, just the beginning. Hobby vs jobs was great too.

Thank you for making this video! I actually am in school for mechanical engineering and I want to do the exact same thing. Maybe I’ll have a top tier race shop in the future!

Mohammad Moh Waqas I believe I was meaning it was largely theory, not practical application
