Demeters are so fun. My favorites are Tiramisu, Banana Flambee, White Russian, Caramel, Croquembouche and Sticky Toffee Pudding. My daughter has the Demeter My Melody (Hello Kitty edition) that smells like almond cookies.
I keep buying Demeter perfumes thinking I'll love them and even though they smell exactly like they say they never end up being something I reach for because I don't like my fragrances to be so literal. The last one I had was Banana Flambee which was DELICIOUS but I just never wanted to wear it so I sold it.
Haven't tried anything from them yet, but have been wanting to get my hands on their pistachio icecream one. I LOOOOOVE pistachio icecream and will go through a whole pint of it in one sitting! YUM!!
I live in the US, the labels on my fragrances read "Demeter Fragrance Library". I love these scents...smells like the real thing!! I have Carribean Sea, Freesia, Bamboo, Flowering Tonka, Butterscotch, Cupcake, Golden Delicious & Pistachio Ice Cream.
Here in Germany Demeter is a label for organic food. It's a company that controls if the agriculture is really bio/organic. I don't know how to describe it better in english 🙈 and I think Demter isn't only in Germany, that's why the company is called The Library of Fragrance in Europe.
I have never purchased a Demeter fragrance, but I always see a large selection of them on the discount websites and consider adding one to my cart, but have yet to pull the trigger.
Haha so glad to see the Plantain in here! I have the oil version of it. Smells like banana candy to me. But I might check out the EdT version, since you mentioned the rice note. What kind of longevity do you get from these? I know that Demeter varies WIDELY in that.

Okay you've convinced me I'll get plantain, I have never tried anything from Demeter but I've wanted to for a long time.
You should check out Eggnog by Demeter. It’s the perfect holiday fragrance and smells spot on like eggnog, it’s delicious!

My favorite banana fragrances are Hilde Soliani Donna Sentenza and 4160 Tuesdays Dark Heart of Old Havana.
Bond No. 9 New York Nights smells like banana flavored Runts to me. Unexpected but I love it!

Here in 🇨🇦 they’re sold under DEMETER. I’ve got some really crazy ones from Demeter like ... ‘rain’ and ‘dirt’ they are pretty darn good replicas! 🏡
I loooove baby powder and Angel food... It's a pity they don't last more than a couple of hrs...😢

Demeter has beautiful scents, my favorite was Thunderstorm! Unfortunately, the performance is very poor.... 20 minutes or less and then totally gone.
Yes they don't last well at all, but for the price, I enjoy a quick burst of realistic scents at home :D
