I kinda find this more exciting than modern SX. This is more raw and more of a mix of motocross and SX. More loose and ragged tracks and riding. Modern SX tracks are too perfectly made.
Turtle Wax backwards or forwards? The old tracks were difficult and we were the fastest in the world when they were so difficult-now the FIM comes in with cookie cutter tracks that are easier and we no longer win worldwide...
The speeds of the 2022 Supercross Season are the fastest I’ve seen in my 45 years of following the sport. It blows my mind to watch these old videos, and then watch current Supercross. It’s like night and day.
Actually we were both coming up he was my arch enemy in California we always edit like when we were like novice and then went to intermediate and then he got Factory ride couldn't I was Privateer so he smoked me on the money on that and then what I had to do was work and then when I said I got a little bit older I had to give up but had a great time racing motocross it was awesome and the training was great Aloha from Connor
I was there I actually want to intermediate Class 250 I had a great time I still have big old picture from it brand new Honda CR250 it's pretty badass I remember the triple jumps and all that stuff the year before that I was riding like novice class 125 I want to fly off the triple jumps and I landed on top of double jumps and I landed on top of some guys back that was in front of me boy was that a Wipeout stupid lap Rider
@@bbarker5766 I'm just talking about the difference in the rider, Someone who can ride a supercross track is on a much higher caliber of riding than just a motocross track. But yes Factory bikes are crazy in all the trick parts they have and ignition control and motor work but look at what Andrew short did years back riding a pretty much stock bike except suspension and a few other things when he lost his factory ride.
David Bailey was the best at commentary. So knowledgeable and honest. Miss listening to him at the races.
Couldn’t agree more…. Art was good too
How good was Jeremy, and his style one of the greats 👍🇦🇺
David Bailey was the man started racing an 86 cr 500 because of him did very well that man was a huge inspiration on and off the track D.h

Track design and the overall appearance of the track has made amazing strides.

the time when suspensions was a real challenge
Not really. Throw stiffer springs and more oil in it- go race.
The King!!

What is this San Joaquin feeling everyone keeps talking about?
Team Yamahas John Dowd. Great race
man...these guys look so slow now, amazing how fast its gotten
que bonitas las hondas!
Man lappers have sucked for 25 years...its crazy to think they cant find 20 people who are all fast enough to no get lapped
Even the lap traffic in supercross will smoke the fastest local motocross guy.
@@ridered7262 FACT!
@@edwardbrownstien8741 Have seen it here with our local supercross guys in the Phx area. They maybe lap traffic but they are stupid fast.
There is a huge difference between factory equipment and top privateer equipment!!
