Roger, I am assuming that you created this video a few days ago. Glad that the eve-ng website is finally up and running. I was banging my head against the wall over the weekend because the website was down.
Hi roger, with regards to your problems with the login, there is a really annoying delay (3-5 mins approx) after the viptela devices boot up before you are able to log in. On my 20.x lab I actually get a message about this - maybe they added that in after.
Palo Alto firewall images (the PA-VM) are the exact same way - it’s very unintuitive and extremely annoying. Out of more than a dozen other appliances, these are the only two I’ve seen with this annoying issue, for the most part. Just sharing in the hope that it will help someone.
Hi Roger, I followed the same steps but nothing is showing in EvE-NG GUI , no Viptela name is showing in Nodes not even in grey color. Can you help me on this.
@@MRHanad1431 I had 2019 version. I uninstalled and downloaded new version of EVE-NG after that it worked. I tried to update that but updated didn't work.
roger I have all 4 images for viptela from my work cisco partnernship. I have them working in eve ng. Do I need some kind of license to them? I am kind of confused. I have ASAv image working in eve. and nexus 7000 do i need license to run these and if so when the expire then what? hardly any trainer speaks of images and licensing etc... suck companies are dont have lab images and let us study to get certs for these dumb companies . they make it so hard to train for this stuff
