not a lot of filipinos can play apex legends because of the system requirements. most internet cafes here can't run it so some toxic players are filtered out.
Actually toxic filipino players are just a minority in the philippine gaming community.
The only problem is that this minority are extremely more volatile than the decent ones and that is why they gain more attention.
There are actually a lot of gaming groups in the ph that bans toxic player as soon as they recognize them.
This guy is really lucky to be able to play with them. I don't have a chance because I play exclusively on console.

As a Filipino, Kanae's pronunciation of "sandali lang" is actually pretty good. Props to him for learning a bit of Tagalog.

They're generally clumped in competitive video games like Dota, League, Csgo etc but to other games that isn't well known here, they're pretty chill

Depends on the gaming community, if you want to avoid toxicity then stay away from competitive games. I've met a ton of chill and hilarious filipino players in Warframe and Modern Warfare.

It all started from that mobile legends game i guess
History-wise, SEA server HoN, DotA, LoL, Overwatch, and CS:GO got particularly toxic, which is why I avoided or left most of them.
But the people in R6:Siege and Apex, for example, are relatively chill in comparison. Maybe it's the smaller teams, different type of matches, greater inclination for self-criticism and improvement, I'm not sure, but the lower salt levels somehow allowed for lower blood pressures.

I've seen so many tagalog toxic comments on Kanae's apex live streams sometimes and it was so sad to see since I understood them and Kanae doesn't. They keep flaming him for not "doing great" and tells him to let them join to his already full squad team so they can show Kanae off how good they are than him. And when they get ignored, I'm sure since Kanae is busy playing and he doesn't understand anything, they would drop cussing words in tagalog. Like for reals... I'm glad there are others in the chat that keep telling them to shut up. So when I see this, I'm glad Filipinos aren't getting group up by toxic sht by showing that not all Filipinos are toxic. Good for this man to show that we aren't just known to be toxic because other Filipinos are being a dck. Ofc there will be still toxic somewhere but I'm saddened to see that Filipinos are generally labeled as toxic just because of how other Filipinos being toxic.

As far as improving them, I would usually say better positioning so it doesn't cover the in game chat. But because you also subbed those with the edits/cuts being pretty focused on the conversation and the points that mattered, I can't really say there was anything wrong with them. Really awesome job!

I really like the little sound effects you added for the chat popping up. It definitely helped to separate the text translations from the speaking translations.
I think that quite a lot of people doesn't know that most Filipino players are actually friendly towards non-Filipino players. A lot (but not all) of them are toxic to players who are also Filipinos and majority of the people who comments that Filipino players are toxic are Filipino themselves.
