The quarterback position is so dependant on other players doing their job so he can be effective. For starters, if your offensive line stinks, the quarterback won't be effective especially if he lacks mobility. A good running game helps the quarterback. A good WR definitely helps the quarterback. If Kareem hadn't developed the most unstoppable shot in basketball history and scored 38,000+ points and won 6 MVPs and 6 Championships he wouldn't be considered one of the greatest NBA players.....

For starters, if your offensive line stinks, the quarterback won't be effective especially if he lacks mobility. A good running game helps the quarterback. A good WR definitely helps the quarterback. Also a great defense helps the quarterback in terms of producing turnovers and field position. The fact is, there's a bias towards quarterbacks because the narrative is quarterback is the most important position in football, something I personally don't believe is true. Without some of the things I previously mentioned, I don't care how good your quarterback is, he won't have much success on a consistent basis.
Brady 7 SB championships. Number of OL that made the Pro Bowl in those 7 wins: 0.
@@frankcastle7036 Tom Brady does it all by himself. He block for himself. Catches his own passes. He plays defense, special teams and coaches both the offense and defense. Why have a team when you can have Tom Brady do it all by himself.
I get exactly what Chris is saying. Makes total since. The greatest FOOTBALL PLAYER is not Tom Brady. Tom Brady is the greatest/most accomplished QB. I know people have a hard time understanding that but it’s quite simple. I wouldn’t mind just keeping players ranked by position and not doing a all positions together ranking.
There is no way to determine the “GREATEST FOOTBALL PLAYER” because there are so many different positions that require the players to do totally different things
@@bigman7570 I’m leaning towards that line of thinking myself. If we’re going by how dominant a player was at his position Jerry Rice was more dominant at his position than any player was at their position.
Tom brady is head and shoulders above every1 yall tripping man Broussard ur tripping
I wouldnt say head amd shoulders, especially knowing he played under the biggest cheater in Belichick most of his career.
I’m just here to see how salty rob Parker is . . . Tears so delicious 😂 😂 😂
Is there a Stephan A and Max beef starting to brew here 👀
So if your a qb and you can run faster and bench more, you should rank high, even if you aren't very good at winning games as a qb?
Not gone lie. This the most facts I’ve ever heard Chris Broussard speak. He knows basketball and football. His logic is great💯💯💯.Rob man do better damn🤣🤣🤣
Rob fa sho said he don't think most people would say that Brady was the greatest quarterback. Not most people HE talks to.
I just don’t understand Rob Parker. He goes after Tom Brady, Steph Curry, LeBron James etc like they’ve been scrubs their entire career Lmao all are MVPS and Champions Yeah Rob is just as bad as the worshipers the three have. Always late and his personal feelings get in the way of being objective
He does it because he knows it gets his name out there!
It all really boils down to what your idea of best is. Is it the most accomplished or talent or a mix of both. It's also who you saw and what you like.
Must pain a lot of folks, especially the Duke Fans of the world to know the two
GOATs of football & basketball are both TarHeels ! MJ & LT are the two respective GOATs both played for Chapel Hill aka UNC ! 🤙🏼
Lol, nobody cares about that ..
@@ronniekregar3482 Hmm funny you cared enough to reply SMH !
IF, IF, IF & if...
It's hard to win. Imagine being a WINNER.. 🐐
Without a good Oline, Brady dipped and dunked. Without great WRs, he made short throws. Over the course of 21 years, he didn’t win it all. But he went to half of them, and won 7.
If Kareem hadn't developed the most unstoppable shot in basketball history and scored 38,000+ points and won 6 MVPs and 6 Championships he wouldn't be considered one of the greatest NBA players.....
If Jordan's 6 and 0 is better than Bill Russell's 11 then why wouldn't Joe Montana's 3 and 0 be better than Tom's 7?
Joe got 4
@@soda8736 Exactly! Just wanted to see who was paying attention...
@@focuz4899 no one cares troll
You can debate any other player on this list. Tom Brady is unequivocally number one. What he's done by the grace of God throughout the course of his career is unmatched. We're talking about the 199th pick in the draft. Enough Said.
Talent is a means to an end, if you win and are less talented that actually is more impressive.
I love LT but does he need a dominant dl? How long was LT dominant? Cok'd up.
I dont have a prob with anyone choosing among those top 5
All great.
No deion sander on the list they bugging
Big difference between the greatest of all time or the most ATHLETIC.
If greatest, it has to be Brady. He’s a physical freak of nature, who outlasted everyone and still won. Easily.
If most athletic: PrimeTime.
Lawrence Taylor, Deion Sanders, Jerry Rice, and Walter Payton.
Rob Parker doesn’t understand what a great QB is…he doesn’t understand the pre snap reads, how he can read a defense, his accuracy, how he leads a team, how he performs in the clutch, how he makes everyone around him better…like he just doesn’t get it lol. He’s just not like smart enough to understand it.
It is blasphemy and laughing that Deion Sanders is not in the top 5. Deion is the greatest player in my opinion because of how he dominated on defense and special teams. He also played offense for awhile and performed well. Just imagine if Deion would have been a two way player earlier in his career. He could have achieved some unprecedented stats!!!!!!!
The dude didn't tackle. Stop it.
@@clovers-zi5fe Lol, that was a business decision to not tackle...a smart one.
@4000 can Brady play different positions? He'll no. Can he extend a play with his legs by running? He'll no. System QB is Brady, and it worked for him. He's just some more white hype. They even put Johnny Unitas in the top ten, lmao
@@lclee2708 Yeah, it's white hype. 7 rings. Goes to a new team then gets a ring in his first year with the notorious Suckaneers. But it's white hype. GTFOH.
@@therealheisenberg6182 And its that decision that keeps him out of the top 10.
Honorable mention to Reggie White🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾
Tom Brady plays the hardest postion in American sports
LAWRENCE TAYLOR
You know Chris definition is dumb when Rob can point out the hypocrisy. Like he knows Jerry Rice can throw, block, tackle , or kick.
By Chris definition of football player you’d have to put LT JJ Watt or Jerry Rice or Barry Sanders in there
I’d agree with Chris on best football player but Tom dominated his position better than anyone ever. The correct answer would be deon because he played both sides of the ball
Rob Parker is part of the "Committee" lol
I don’t think Brady is the best football player of “All-Time”, but Broussard got Rob at the beginning lol!
Rob has to do zoom calls from his studio apartment.
TOM BRADY ISNT ANYWHERE NEAR THE GOAT! ITS CRAZY HOW PEOPLE HAVE SAID THIS DUMB ASS SH??! THE MOST ACCOMPLISHED YES...BUT NOT HIS SKILL
Rob hating on Tom Brady as usually.
I actually agree with rob on positions on the field. How did that happen?
Hey Chris, maybe those all pro teams benefited playing with other all pros or in dome stadiums.
Hey folks. Chris mentioned Manning and 7 1st team all pro selections. Did u know Manning was .500 against AFC East excluding the Patriots?
Why was that? D was tougher in that division but offense weaker. Prob why Brady was more effective in playoffs against better D's.
Rob stopp you’re not talking to any important credible players
Greatest QB. Not individual player
How not when he’s accomplished more individually than any other player at their position in the history of the game ?
Jim Brown at #2?? That’s absolutely disrespectful to put him that high on this list
what a shock, they named mr. slants and checkdowns #1
Yes he is y’all tripping. He touches the ball 100% of his team’s offense. Except there’s another skill player that does that he’s no.1 case closed
I'm with Rob on this one.
Me too. Everyone else is just flunkies and followers. With Skip Bayless at the helm, it's hilarious how many dudes are eager to take Giselle's place and get knocked up by Tom.
Walter Payton gets no love in these discussions. He was maybe the most complete player ever. He could do it all. He could even throw. He was amazing as a lead blocker and at picking up the blitz. He was a one man wrecking crew in the first half of his career carrying trash teams. No one gained their yards harder than Walter.
