Three Views of a Secret is a fantastic live album which celebrates a wonderful musical instrument just like the Chromatic Harmonica is, enriched on this occasion with an astonishing orchestral arrangement.
This record has the merit of satisfying either people who are fond of this musical instrument and of the big bands, or those who aren't so accustomed to Jazz music.
Three Views of a Secret is the eighteenth Max De Aloe's album as a soloist as well. He's considered among the most active Jazz Chromatic Harmonica players in Europe, here accompained by the Faraggiana Big Band, formed by some among the greatest Italian Big Band musicians.
Three Views of a Secret celebrates the centenary of the Chromatic Harmonica star Toots Thielemans' birth with some of his beloved songs like Bluesette, The Days of wine and roses, Começar de novo, Three views of a secret,Isn't she lovely and two songs by Ennio Morricone.ùBoth the musical arrangements and the direction are entrusted to Claudio " Walli " Allifranchini, considered one of the most important Italian Jazz arrangers.
