Learn to play the intro to You Better You Bet as performed by Pete Townshend of The Who.
While not super complicated in terms of chord fingering, it's still a great example of a creative arpeggio rock song introduction. In my mind, this guitar intro is a "guitar version" of Pete's keyboard/synth type song foundations that were a hallmark of Who's material since the Who's Next album. While there is already a synth playing underneath this, this guitar arpeggio itself could have been a synth "bed" to build the song on top of, but he chose to play on a 12 string electric (probably a Rickenbacker).
Let me know if there is another song intro you'd like to spotlight, leave a comment or email me at 12footchain@gmail.com

Pete Townshend is just a different breed of guitarist to create a complex and cool intro from simple cord groups.
