My friend had the hatchback version. It had this engine but was automatic and leather interior. Could hardly hear the engine. Quite an underrated impressive thing. 😊
My former colleague's missus got her father's friend's old Megane combi / station wagon. It was surprisingly agile for its size. Had engine noise just as much as this one on the highway, but loved to rev too. Way past 4000 in final gear. Dual-zone climate control, a radio having the capability for an aux mic, so phone calls made with no hands were easy. Aside from being a workhorse car, with sagging door trims and minor continuous nuisances - oil quality was always 'to be serviced', regardless of real quality or change frequency), had a steering rack that was worn out.. and a few electrical issues - I'd say it aged okay. And look at how well they look. I am not much of a French fan, but whomever drew the chassis, and whomever designed the interior, did their jobs. One of the very few French cars I would not mind owning.
Mam megankę w kombi 2007 rok 1.6. Świetne auto. Komfortowe pakowne i zaskakująco dynamiczne. To moja 3 renówka i druga z tym silnikiem. Motor nie do zdarcia a samochód jak za te pieniądze bardzo rozsądny. I nie, nie pali się w nim wiecznie choinka
