This endearing scene cld have been kept in if only they had pulled a cpl of those darn brutal rape scenes! I have enough brain in my head that if you tell me that a rape occurred, I get it without a complete blow by blow play! Not only that, I can also get what happened during a Honeymoon without actors (who are not married in real life) getting together naked & doing dry humping to imagine what happened in a story. Good grief!🙄 Leave a little for the imagination people!!!
" I don't know how ya and miLord could manage without me?" Such a fine lad, very respectful and loving. When Clair came back he recognize her right off and the reunion was so sweet( I bet)
I loved baby fergus so much. I weeped happy tears when I saw he went with Claire and Jamie back to Scotland. He inspired me to reed the books, actually! I wish there were more of these scenes between young Fergus and his family
I always got the feeling Claire didn't much care for Fergus, but this scene definitely showed a more parental side of her towards him.. I really wish they could have kept all of these deleted/extended scenes.
I’m reading Dragonfly in Amber, which this scene is in, and Claire indeed loves Fergus. The books are very detailed, and they trim “the fat” for the television series.
love this wish they woulda kept it - not only for the Claire and Fergus relationship but for the La Dame Blanche explanation - woulda helped later on that season with King Louie and with Silkie Island season 3
Fergus is such a precious character. And, we get so much more definition in their relationship from this scene. Now, this is a scene they 100% should have kept.
Not only that. They have the habit of deleting scenes that have crucial bits of information for those of us who haven't read the books and don't know in advance what is going to happen.
Donni Zammit Scenes are usually cut for time reasons. They film more than needed then decisions are made on which ones to keep that move the story forward and that will fit into the very tight time slot allowed per episode.
This is so sweet! For the sake of verisimilitude though, he should have started brushing her hair from the bottom then work his way up. But that’s just nitpicking. The version of this scene after her miscarriage was heartbreaking.
This is a lovely scene and it answered some questions I had about Fergus. I've seen so many great deleted scenes that provide much needed information. I think the fans would really enjoy it if they would add some of them back to the series and release a new version of the series in some format (online or DVD?). It's understandable that some of them might not work, but this one certainly would.
I don’t know why they cut this scene from the episode it is such a good scene I love Fergus. Not to mention the actor who plays Fergus he is so talented.
Por favor. Alguien que me ayude a traducir. Lo poco que entiendo es que Fergus le pregunta a Claire si es la dama blanca y que el se enseñó a peinar a las mujeres en el lugar donde trabajaba. Es así?
I honestly don't know where anyone gets the idea Claire did not love Fergus - it is clear in many scenes throughout the seasons we have seen thus far.
Angela Loavenbruck I totally agree. She’s always looked after him, and her love for him grows.
Agreed!
Who says she doesn’t love him?! She’s his mother as far as I’m concerned
Of course she loves Fergus…it’s hard not to love his character
@@Rachel57567 exactly
The lad who plays Fergus is a real gem. Such a talented kid.
Yes! His name is Romann.
I love him... he is a gem indeed!
Absolutely!
Yes totally agree

They should have kept this. Its so important cause they never get to be alone and have a scene together. Also, it explains why he was living there..
Exactly!
They missed lots of details from the books which I understand but it's deleted scenes the deprives the audience of sometime important info. Oh well!
I love Fergus, and I will miss him. Such a beautiful child.
Chaise Latterly you'll have him for a little while longer. Older Fergus is love too.
I loved baby fergus so much. I weeped happy tears when I saw he went with Claire and Jamie back to Scotland. He inspired me to reed the books, actually! I wish there were more of these scenes between young Fergus and his family
I wish this had been added. this brings their relationship closer and makes you see the connection
I always got the feeling Claire didn't much care for Fergus, but this scene definitely showed a more parental side of her towards him.. I really wish they could have kept all of these deleted/extended scenes.
In the books she adores him actually
Agreed! They should have kept this scene. It gives a lot of insight to their relationship.
Nice moment between the to,but theres only so much time allotted.
I’m reading Dragonfly in Amber, which this scene is in, and Claire indeed loves Fergus. The books are very detailed, and they trim “the fat” for the television series.
In the books she treated him like her son.

So sad that we don't get to see young fergus anymore
He was replaced by Ian' s characther
Well he's already grown up with a wife and a child... now we have Ian 😅
@@Hello-oi4ut and now we have neither T_T
I love the little Fergus personality.
@@Hello-oi4ut Ian is grown up too. He stayed with the Mohawk and came back to Jamie wiser and older. Not a boy but a young man. 👴

They wanted the gloom of faith's death intact.
This young Fergus is awesome. Love him, so devoted. An excellent young actor.
Has the kid done anything since?
OMG this kid is just exceptional. What a little talent he is. I've checked out his IMDB page and I plan on following his career.
I love that they adopted Fergus. He's such a great kid!
i love how when fergus came with them to Scotland, his accent changed a bit. But you can still hear a little of his French
I don’t know why such a beautiful scene was omitted. Seeing Claire and Ferguson together in that scene brought tears to my eyes I loved it.
I loved young Fergus. He’s a very talented actor. He has charm and a good sense of humor.
Why do they always delete scenes that would make the ep better
Not only that. They have the habit of deleting scenes that have crucial bits of information for those of us who haven't read the books and don't know in advance what is going to happen.
Donni Zammit Scenes are usually cut for time reasons. They film more than needed then decisions are made on which ones to keep that move the story forward and that will fit into the very tight time slot allowed per episode.
@@Oldleftiehere They could cut out the landscape shoots where nothing really happens and let scenes (like this one here) in the show.
Makes me wanna go back now & watch the entire series all over again ♡♡
It would be amazing if they would cut extended episodes with lots of deleted scenes thrown in. I'd buy the DVD set in a minute.
Great cast!, even the kids nail the acting!
This is so sweet! For the sake of verisimilitude though, he should have started brushing her hair from the bottom then work his way up. But that’s just nitpicking. The version of this scene after her miscarriage was heartbreaking.
Imagine him and Brianna growing up together! Best of siblings assured!
Cheeky bugger.
One of my favourite characters along with Lord John Grey, Murtagh and Jamie.
Love this scene
cherrip1e ღJas and a man
I don't think this scene should have been deleted... Let's us know Fergus better
I looooove the relationship between these two! That kid is absolutely adorable.
this explains the scene with the King later
When it ends, can we have a Golden Edition with all the cuts included? Please?!!!
A lovely scene! This young actor is precious as Fergus!!!
Such a sweet scene. They should have included it. I want outlander to be as long as possible!
I wish they'd kept this scene in. Nice to learn more about the origins of Fergus. And young Fergus was great!
Fergus a sweet child that tried always to please it seemed.
I will miss little Fergus, love him❤❤❤

wonderfull Scene with Claire and Fergus.
such a sweet scene
I don’t know why they cut this scene from the episode it is such a good scene I love Fergus. Not to mention the actor who plays Fergus he is so talented.
They should put together a collectors dvd with all shows and deleted scenes placed in the episode where it was originally.
Loved the talented, little Fergus
What a sweet scene.
Love Claire and Fergus!
Samuraikitty23
1:41-1:45-1:47-1:48 Fergus brushes Claire's Hair
Such a sweet and endearing scene. Why do they have to edit it so much?
Just a delightful clip!
Love Fergus so much!!!!!!
The best scenes in outlander were deleted what a shame
Esta escena en la argentina no la vi, por favor pueden poner subtítulos en español?
Fergus is such a cutie.
This was SO sweet!!!!
BABIEEEEE
Por favor. Alguien que me ayude a traducir. Lo poco que entiendo es que Fergus le pregunta a Claire si es la dama blanca y que el se enseñó a peinar a las mujeres en el lugar donde trabajaba. Es así?
Cutting out any baby Fergus scene should be a crime
Naw, I really love Fergus
Oh boy, this is also was not a deleted scence on the netflix version.
Il par?e très bien le français. La dame blanche est parfaitement articulé. Nice kid.
Il est français, l'acteur s'appelle Romann Berux
Why don’t they keep this? This is so cute!!! 🥺
No child can speak English in this level in France 🤣
She LOVES Fergus.
Ya'll need to stop cuttin' scenes or have a show with just deleted scenes.
Fergus has the same outfit that Jamie wears in 209 I think
😗
Acho legal todos os vídeos, pena que não entendo nada. Não falo inglês, sou do Brasil. Mas gosto muito, acompanho as cenas .
Is the actor a dancer? He walks like one
Good little boy! 🕊 💌 💞 💕 😉 😘
This scene is not deleted. I watched it the other day
Wish adult fergus brushed his wife's hair
Por favor subtitulos please
Isn't his father a nobleman or something? I don't remember exactly.
His father is implied to be the Comte
It would fit the writing style of the author.
some of the best scenes were deleted. Love Fergus.
