So glad for the hazard lights on the tanks there. Wouldn't have known they were there otherwise

Amazing footage as always! How are you able to make these recordings - are you in the army? I a big fan of Challenger 2 - and for outsiders like me these are literally the best videos out there about this vehicle. Keep them coming!

Thank you, much appreciated. I’m fortunate enough to live near a large training area and bump into this sort of stuff frequently.

The Mrs has just came back from a walk , she said there’s a massive bunch of big ones parked up at silk Hill orange triangle.
I’m trying to educate her on the types of armour but she glazes over real quick when questioned …😄

All 3 of them currently running. Such a perfect looking tank and sounds amazing.
I wonder how much more it would weight with full thickness top amour. Asking for Ukraine.

The tank named Daredevil (DT12AA). What is the emblem that the tank displays on its thermal gunsight cover?
    TIA😊

A question for British chaps. Why your land force (British Army) and armed forces (British Armed Forces) don't have the word Royal in them? Like Royal Army and Royal Armed Forces. Your navy is called Royal Navy and your air force is called Royal Air Force.

I'm not a Brit, but I guess that British Army and British Armed Forced are not "Royal" enough. As island nation United Kingdom relied much more on it's navy (Battle of Trafalgar) and air force (Battle of Britain) for survival. So the army was not that important. After all English Channel is the greatest anti-tank trench in the world.

You have zero idea of what you are talking about. Back in the day during a revalution, parts of the Royal Army crossed over to join the Parliamentarian Oliver Cromwell to fight against the Royalists. The Parliamentarians one what was know as the War of the Roses. Later the Monarchy was restored, the Navy did not rise against the King during the war, so kept its royal status. Some of the army did, so it lost its royal status. However, some regiments did not join the parliamentarians, and so kept their status, such as The Royal Dragoon Guards, The Royal Green Jackets amongst others. The Coldstream Guards joined Cromwell, subsiquently the Brigade of Guards do not have royal status, although they are still the Kings Guard and previously the Queens Guard, but not royal. The Airforce did not exist, at the time, so were granted royal status on their eventual formation. May be not 100% accurate, but there abouts.

The title of “Royal” has to be awarded by the Monarch, therefore it is the individual unit that carries the “Royal” prefix and not the Army. It is actually a very simple system and reflects the honour that has been proven by the unit in combat.

Those ancient Warriors have no choice but to soldier on, in the absence of the plagued Ajax.

The CR2 will not be replaced by Ajax which is a Recce vehicle and no substitute for a Main Battle Tank.

Agreed tanks are no longer a thing but tank mentality still persists but as you say these if sent will burn just as well as others. the new king is the drone. Z.V.
