@@Timmybabim He said that the family "split" over it. That was and still is quite normal. People want to keep it a secret (shame) and protect the perpetrator ("but he seems like such a nice guy") and back then there was no DNA testing ("maybe it was someone who just looks like him") and on and on. Anything but admitting that there is a man in their family capable of raping a disabled child and getting her pregnant. People still have a very hard time stepping up and saying, "The rapist in OUR family is going to prison for a very, VERY, long time and we're turning him in to start the process." Terrible but true. Many families are dangerous to their own children.

By clearly saying that his mother was a child that gave birth to a child, he not only used accurate language, but he also expressed something that is not has commonly been expressed within the Black community.

He said the thing the person liked, great. And if he didn't, would he be tarnished?

Special Needs children/adults are the most vulnerable at being abused since many of them can't explain what's happening to them and none of them can give consent since some people think they can. My friend made it a point that no male nurses could tend to her non-verbal, mind of a 3yr old sister who was a fully developed woman. She was in an institution. Families of special needs individuals need to be vigilant in limiting who can be around the special needs children/adult. It's okay to be rude and say, "No, you can't babysit. No, you can't take them for ice cream. No, they can't go to a birthday unless a trusted individual is there to supervise the special needs children/adult personally." "No, no lap sitting allowed". "No" is never rude when it comes to safety.
There's this documentary about this school for the deaf and mute and maybe blind (in Japan I think) where the institution routinely allowed men to come and molest/SA the children. I think many of the perps were govt officials or businessmen. They were the perfect victim. No one could hear their screams.(that may have been the title)

She couldn't walk, talk, or communicate in any way. Her family said no males can attend to her. She had a male doctor but that was it. Long story short she became pregnant and nobody knew until she went into labor. They had every male worker take a DNA test and found that a worker was the father. He got locked up, and the doctor was fired because the fact that he didn't know she was pregnant indicated he wasn't looking after her at all. So sad. I don’t won’t to take anything from the young man because he is here. I was a pregnant 18 yr old because I didn’t think it was important enough to listen to my mother. I stayed at Catholic Charities which was a home for unwed mothers. The majority would give their baby up for adoption. The majority of the girls were 16yrs to 18 years old. The youngest was a ten yr old that was pregnant by her natural dad. She didn’t join us in group counseling. She didn’t interact with the older girls. She barely had breast, I can’t imagine her having childbirth vaginally, so if she had the baby by a C-section she would not only have an permanent emotional scare but she will have a physical scar that will always be a visible reminder. When I read you saying to Terrell you were meant to be born. I don’t believe this is what you are saying, but I can’t help but hear you say to his 11 yrs young mother You were meant to be raped by the father so Terrell could be born. Left because the entire family put pressure on her to write the parole board that he wasnt a danger and deserved his hunting weapons back…. one of the few reasons the cops took the girls seriously….. circa the late 80s
