Easy people! First of all, the short one is who they hired to do the Babyface parts, his voice is somewhat similar. Dee Bristol, with the gray hair is a founding member and the original singer of his parts. Guess what y'all? It's 30 years later! Voices change as we age, especially in the higher registers. He's still doing a good job, so don't knock it. The 3rd singer is replacing Carlos, the other original lead singer. Kayo, Kevin Roberson plays bass, an original, and Stick Burke plays guitar, also an original member. Once again, voices change from when we were in our 20's, to now being in our 50's and 60's.
They still killing it!!!!! this song was great because of all the voices signing together!!! not cause Babyface was on it!!! it was a group so people need to remember any of the singers of the group could have did there own music but Babyface had a bigger drive so he became legendary
It's true, it is different without Babyface, but I gotta admit, the guy Leon Qui sounds a lot like Babyface too. This is still the Deele, folks. And that drummer is not LA Reid but he is a great drummer. I'm very pleased Kayo is still on bass. I love this song. I'd still see em with or without Babyface and LA. Just sayin.
Most people thought Babyface sang everything because they all sound alike but he didn't so his not being there isn't to bad t he guy does ok. MY problem dammit is where is SATIN?? I need 2 see Dee AND Satin. There's another 2014 one with him singing in these very outfits. I need my Satin lol. He was at the tribute tho I was SOOO happy :D
