Plastic being marinated is not my batch of tea. I am very careful in marinating anything and uses glasses for non-stains food and some like kimchi taste better in ceramic pots BUT plastic, only if I am doing a 30 minute cold marinate.

It was ice. I thought it was plastic too but on replay slowed down you can see when they pour the ice water in ice shaped like the pitcher slid out.

They don't seem to use a lot of machines, mostly by hand. But the way they do it is very clean and safe.
