- Sorry for the delay my lovies! I am nursing a bad cold! I have been natural for 9 years in Jan 2014 and it has been 2 years since I last straightened my hair. Thank you all so much for your awesome natural hair salon suggestions on Facebook. In the end, I chose to visit the Too Groovy salon and I enjoyed my experience!

Too Groovy is the best salon in ATL in my opinion. I love their customer service and their care for natural hair!
I remember the Too Groovy experience being all about the Too Groovy pinups, relaxers, weaves,etc. That's when the owner Robin opened the first Too Groovy salon (in the late 90's) in Savannah, GA. Honey, that was the salon of choice for the latest hair styles.
Happy to see the new and improved Too Groovy salon making wonderful steps to beatifying natural and healthy hair...COOL!

What a great job they did. Your hair looks beautiful. I've not had my hair straightened in 31/2 years. Just so afraid. Here in LA its tough trying to find someone who will do you hair well and not cut it all off.

The gentleman that did your hair was obviously so knowledgeable and the care that they took with your hair was evident. Your hair looked amazing! I don't straighten my hair at all, but if I did, I would go there. I go to a Deva certified salon, so I go in for trims and deep conditioning treatments. Once you find a salon you like, stick with them. It is definitely worth it.
I love the steam hydration treatment. My hair feels so clean and healthy afterwards.

Hey girl don't know which I love better on you the natural or straight hair, you wear them both so well. You can tell you have been taking care of your natural hair so well because of the minimal work and cut the stylist seemingly had to do...keep it up BeeUtifully Made

Love it! I can't wait to move back to Atl. I want to try that place. I use to go to one of the gazillion Dominican salons in the DC area but they use wayyy too much heat. I couldn't even see smoke coming out of his blow dryer.

I've heard nothing but good things about Too Groovy. I desperately need a professional straighten and trim. I've been natural for 3. 5 yrs and have had neither. I big chopped my own hair and have been doing light dustings, so I'm almost afraid of what a stylist will say! Thanks for posting.

This video made me want to go out and straighten my hair ASAP. In my area (Richmond, VA) I didn't see a lot of salons that offered 'healthy' straightening.. so I will wait. BUT! My mother just moved to ATL and I know I'll be visiting her soon!

Thanks lovie! Sooo I no longer use Dove soap :) I will be posting a new video with all of the latest natural products I use. Yes, I was initially very nervous about how my hair would look with my amateur color job. But I have to say, it doesn't look bad at all! I actually like it alot! Tre is the man! Gotta love me some him :)

This is amazing I wish the hairdressers where I live could see this.i asked for my hair to be straightened and they all tell me that it's impossible for my 4b/c hair to be straightened. All incompetent

When I had my hair straighten back in August I had no clue what to do with my hair lol...I felt like the straight hair was so high maintenance, because I had to plan my activities around my hair. With curly hair you could care less about humidity, rain, or frizz. Your hair is super gorgeous though:)
I totally agree...since it has been raining for like 9 consecutive days in Atlanta (not happy about that!), I have been going the extra mile trying to prevent frizz in this horrid humidity. Just washing my face and getting in the shower is strategic planning!
