I cannot believe they actually gave Alfonse that line for his unique quote. It’s flat out amazing out of context. Some extra notes: - When facing Robin in Aether Raids, Robin’s Divine Vein Ice deploys at the start of YOUR Player Phase. That’s the “Enemy Phase” when she is on the defense team. This means to overwrite the attacker’s Ice tiles she will need to Assist/End turn. At that point, other enemies may have new attack ranges so be careful. - Alfonse’s Great Talent only stacks to +20/+10 even with 2 Alfonses on the team. You’ll stack faster, but until we get another source of Great Talent that’s the max currently. - You can use Duo/Harmonic Skills on Felix to give him more movement. Duo Sigurd’s Reposition Duo skill for example is okay to use. - I didn’t mention it for Bernadetta, but like her other alts she enables some whacky Hp shenanigans if you use Reciprocal Aid or Ardent Sacrifice. Some would use this to dip into Desperation or Vantage range, but Paranoia’s version of those effects already work off being hurt by Bernie’s 1 damage. You can instead try to set-up Wings of Mercy chains. Have your WoM beacon use Ardent Sacrifice twice to lose 20 Hp for example.
Alfonse is a unique statball, Felix a unique galeforcer, Bernadetta most unique of the four who also has the easiest counter (hardy bearing), and Robin the best unit to be used for overall usage at the cost of not having as many unique things. This problem with Robin is also why Robin emblem (as an expert myself) is often difficult/boring, as many bonuses they grant/penalties they inflict overlap.
400 orbs got me +5 Alphonse (1 spark), 1 Bernie (spark) and 1 Robin. I love seeing him snowball his stacks and quickly over abuse the Flat DR. I need a way to grant him both Null C-Disrupt and Null Guard/Charge.
Bernie’s kinda funny On the right team, you can steal buffs and then reflect debuffs back on the enemy completely flipping the situation. The lack of NFU on Felix feels odd. I guess he doesn’t need it But it still feels weird.

If you want everyone to h8 you in Aether Raids, 6 +10 defense boon + res superboon B!Alfonse's might just do the trick. 1 defense boon B!Alfonse and 5 +def blessing units would also do the trick to a likely much cheaper and more effective degree though.
@@luiscerda4031 His skills reduce damage based on his defense stat, which he can easily reach 99 on with the right set up (at vanilla unmerged and tile effect he already sits comfortably at 86, with plenty of options to make it go higher). This reduction is directly to damage, on top of having to get over his defense stat of 99. He also in base kit will go over 99 defense due to the self setting stone vein effect that adds another +6 to his def/res that also reduces damage by 10, meaning not only on paper can he have on his own a defense stat of 105 [or 111 if you want to be funny at that point and give a +6 visible buff], but he also will reduce the attack stat of the foe by 41 points in combat, and heals himself based on his defense stat too thanks to BoL4 (basically demanding physical opponents have an attack stat of 150 or higher to deal any damage, and 200 or higher to be able to take the w). His res isn't as high as def and intentionally left as such bc all his skills interact with how high his defense is at, but since the debuffs are to all foe attack stats even mages struggle to do anything because of how heavy his debuff on them is lol. He wins very consistently against everything (yes, including merged and engaged Emblem Ike) not named Miciah, and very specialized B!Felix, and even then I was only test running vanilla unmerged Alfonse to work out his gimmick. He is the benchmark of power, once he gets going, which only takes a single initiation of combat to snowball out of control. He's worth +10 yes, but he's also likely to get rerun and added to remix banners. Don't feel like you have to break the bank if you want to take merging him slowly. Even 1 unmerged neutral B!Alfonse can clear maps on his own.
@@luiscerda4031 One last pro tip. If you get a speed bane B!Alfonse (preferably def boon but any combo of speed bane is great since he has superboons in atk and res too), don't merge him. He gets outsped by his merged self, letting him reduce opposing B!Alfonse by 20 points out the gate instead of 10, which ironically helps him out tank himself. Their skills do stack with themselves if you ever want to run Alfonse Emblem lol
