Thank you Nick for posting this! I’m currently in a battle against a non cancerous brain tumor that is life threatening! This video has made me feel so much better!
Minato's personal guards also knew the flying raijin. We learned that during the Fourth Great Ninja War because teleported Mei to where Madara was but he couldn't have learned it from them since he was out of the village.
@@Tenjikaraz I think it was said that Minato taught them. But, the question is where did Minato learn of the technique? He PROBABLY didn't reinvent the same technique with the same name as Tobirama, especially given their very different approaches to naming techniques. Meaning Minato somehow knew of Tobiramas technique, and either thought about it conceptually and worked it out, or it's written down on a scroll somewhere that he was allowed to study and attempt after showing his potential, or... Jiraiya knew of it from Tobirama and guided Minato to learn it. This would mean Kashin Koji could have filled a similar role for Boruto.
@@phonyalias7574he probably learned it on a scroll somewhere in konoha white house. Hiruzen knows all of Konoha's techniques outside of kekkei genkais except flying raijin so he probably showed Minato the scroll hoping he'd learn how to do it.
Hagoromo did split the Ten-tails into 9 beasts which developed their own personalities and even had names, so it's possible that someone knew this was doable and attempted it. Does this mean the Shinju are at least as powerful as a tailed-beast + whatever new abilities they are able to suck up, like the rinnegan? We also know the tailed-beasts were not equally powerful, so I doubt the shinju are as powerful as Kurama on their base form, but they're probably stronger than Shukaku, thought it might depend. Like there's only 4 of them rn, but are they split evenly? I would guess they're at least as strong as Son Goku, the 4-tailed beast, in their base form.
You're right that shinjū could be translated as 'double suicide', but it can also be translated as 'divine beast'. It just depends on the kanji being used. I think the latter is more likely, but ofc it could have a double meaning, which is pretty common in Japanese. 心中 = double suicide 神獣 = divine beast
divine beast goes hard af for a name for a transformation (dont mind me im a DB fan thats waiting on the superhero recap to be done glad af i gave the boruto manga chance)
@@dubstepilluminati1823 no doubt, lol And ya, DBZ was my first introduction to anime. I still remember getting chills when Gohan went up against perfect cell! I followed Super for awhile but fall off right around the start of the Granola arc. I need to get caught back up
@@dubstepilluminati1823if only Dragonball would embrace cool names like divine beast. Other than ultra instinct/ego there really hasnt been a transformation i liked since GT.
@@erir8643 ya, you might be right I was looking up しんじゅう / shinjū but if you look up しんじゅ / shinju, divine tree / 神樹 is probably the best choice. The other possible interpretations using shinju are, a freshly bloomed tree, a divine gift, mystic spell, pearl, and acceptance of truth So I would say the actual meaning is probably between divine beast & divine tree. But like I pointed out in my initial post, there's a lot of secondary meanings that Kishimoto is probably alluding to. That's one of the cool things about the Japanese language
The thing that Boruto used to teleport was his konoha pin. You can see that it’s apart of his design, it’s pinned on his jacket to the left. Then you can see the toad is holding onto it while hiding on Code. So he put some type of marker on it or he doesn’t have to use a marker and he can just teleport to items (kinda like how Sasuke teleport would work)
@@iamhugry I wonder if that’s the case. I assume since he called it flying thunder god and mentioned his grandpa. I just don’t see any marker plus he teleported to konoha above code. So did he mark code? Maybe he just has to picture something in his mind and he can travel to it… I guess we’ll figure out later on in the chapters
I guess Sasuke might’ve been able to teach boruto flying raijin since he’s seen the two people who created it use it, plus he could’ve used his sharigan to show boruto how proficient his grandfather was at it.
Kashin Koji stole the scroll of Minato Namikaze from the library most likely, they both helped, Boruto figure it out But it might’ve just been Kashin Koji
Something that occurs to me is that the Shinju may be similar creatures to the Paths of Pain, except they are evolved from claw grimes and not corpses. This would explain why they have the rinnegan-like eyes but do not seem to use rinnegan abilities in battle, but instead use versions of the abilities of the individuals that are trapped in the mini-god trees. The claw marks that each Shinju has acts like the receiver-antennae chakra rods that Pain used to control the Paths - with the mini-god trees acting as the broadcasting-antennae. I suspect that the Ten Tails has somehow absorbed the intelligence and personalities of the people caught by the trees, which is why the Shinju is talking about growing an ego that they did not have before - and is able to use the claw marks and baby god trees (and Sasuke's rinnegan) to make and control Shinjus. And maybe the Shinju / Ten Tails wants to be an independent entity (entities?) rather than forced to become a God Tree, which is why it wants to capture Boruto but not absorb him immediately. The Zetsus came about in a similar manner to the Shinjus, except Kaguya was imposing her will over the Zetsus... Perhaps the Shinju are what happens when the Ten Tails doesn't have an Otsutsuki like Kaguya or Hagoromo imposing their will over it and it has access to a rinnegan. Anyway - I appreciate your work, Nick.
Absolutley love your energy and in depth delve into these chapters. Your passion for and knowledge of the Naruto universe is a joy to watch. Keep on cooking and blowing it out the park mate.
Kurama's chakra was involved in the rasengan + chidori that blew their arms off. Sasuke also used his flamecontrol to include black flames in the chidori so I suppose it simply were stronger attacks
@@SecretMarsupial that isn't my head canon, when boruto was trying to create the rasengan he made the vanishing rasengan by subconsciously adding his lighting Chakra nature to it, when boruto makes a rasengan, that is what happens, it just doesn't vanish until he throws it.
@@hxrper_69but that’s the vanishing rasengan though, that doesn’t mean all of his rasengans have lightning release but I see what you mean. We just don’t know which rasengan he used here
Honestly after reading the actual Boruto English Version Manga chapter 4, I'm so stoked for Chapter 5 now. I mean I damn near threw my phone 5 times reading this chapter. Flying Raijin, Sasuke's Clone, Kashin Koji's appearance and that last panel. Really a phenomenal Chapter and THANK YOU Nick for the two videos recently.
I loved this ch so much. I literally had to take breaks in the middle of reading it because I was too hyped. But the only thing I wasn’t a fan of is the idea that the older characters need to be sealed away. I don’t like the idea that the next generation can only shine when the previous generation isn’t around. Same like what happened with Gojo. I think the new generation should be good enough to make it on their own and not rely on the fact the previous generation is absent to make them look better. Boruto as a character is now good enough to be the main attraction even if Naruto and Sasuke were still around.
I think it is more of a way for the next gen to become powerful enough to shine. The is no reason Naruto and Sasuke would just sit back and let the kids handle it. They needed time where the heavy hitters were locked away so that they can become the heavy hitters. It is like when you are playing in an RPG and you have cast that is larger than the party. You have to side line the ones that are more powerful to train the ones that less experienced. Just in a story you can't have them sitting back and chillin'. Got to give a reason for it. I think they will get unsealed and join in the fight when the next gen is strong enough to stand with them.
@@Xhalo1183That would make sense if it wasn’t for the fact that Naruto and Sasuke are no longer the strongest and they haven’t been for a while. Boruto in these few chapters already surpassed anything Naruto and Sasuke have ever done. Even if they were unsealed, they couldn’t just fix every problem themselves. So I personally don’t see a reason to have them sealed. Naruto being sealed makes sense for Kawaki’s character but Sasuke less so. Yes I know that Sasuke getting treed pushes Boruto forward but Boruto already had plenty of motivation, he lost his old life and most of the people he cared about turned against him.
@@froogalityGojo himself is a part of the older generation in JJK. The manga’s main characters are Yuji’s generation. I just think if you have a character that’s either too popular or too op and you need the main characters to be more relevant, the solution shouldn’t be to just get rid of that op character just to make the new generation look good. They should make the new generation look good by having them become more interesting characters and rise to the challenge on their own.
I understand your concerns about the idea of sealing away the older characters in Boruto. It's true that it can be frustrating to see new characters constantly overshadowed by the accomplishments of their predecessors. However, I believe that there are some valid reasons for why the older characters may need to be sidelined in order for the next generation to truly shine. Firstly, it's important to remember that the older characters, like Naruto and Sasuke, are incredibly powerful and have faced countless challenges throughout their lives. They have a wealth of experience and knowledge that the younger generation simply does not have yet. If the older characters were to remain actively involved in the story, it would be very difficult for the new characters to have their own moments of growth and development. Secondly, the decision to sideline the older characters can also serve as a way to raise the stakes and create a sense of urgency for the new generation. If the older characters are always there to bail them out, then the new characters will never truly feel the pressure to step up and take on responsibility. By removing the older characters from the equation, the story forces the new generation to confront their own challenges and discover their own strengths. Of course, this doesn't mean that the older characters should be completely forgotten or ignored. They can still play a valuable role in the story by providing guidance and support to the new generation. However, it's important for them to allow the new characters to take center stage and have their own chance to shine. I believe that Boruto is a strong enough character to be the main attraction even if Naruto and Sasuke were still around. He has already demonstrated his own unique abilities and determination, and I'm confident that he will continue to grow and develop as the story progresses. And, I think that the decision to sideline the older characters in Boruto is a necessary one that will ultimately allow the new generation to reach their full potential. While it may be difficult to see some of our favorite characters take a backseat, I believe that it will ultimately be beneficial for the story and the characters themselves.
If you pay attention to the road he has one of borutos pins the pins are what is used by boruto to teleport to it. The seals are on the pins. One of the juubis the girl seems to be moegi the one on konohamarus team. The same jutsu she used on boruto was the one moegi used to capture Amado
The Harlequin shinju people have theorized that she is Moegi Kazamatsuri. The girl on Konohamaru’s team when he was young. She has the same head shape, and the exact same elemental jutsu. Somewhere down the line she must have been caught and turned into a tree. Only now she gained ego and is the form we see now.
If true, that could be bad, since (according to data books) she has access to basic wood release. So depending on how much stronger the shinju is than moegi herself, it could be hashirama level.
Agreed this is very likely to be so, she's a master of earth release and last we seen of team shikadai during claw grime invasion there is no moegi there
For those who have been here since nick announced his pivot from tt to yt, its so great to see videos like this getting hundreds of thousands of views and his success on this platform continue to grow. So many blessings to you and yours nick, keep up the great work
For a long time, I wondered how Kaguya planned to fight off the other Otsutsuki with an army of impotent White Zetsu. Well... now we have an answer. Shinju are _basically_ just "perfected" iterations of the White Zetsu, and _these_ guys are _easily_ capable of holding off High-Ranking Otsutsuki. I'm not sure what Code did differently to Kaguya to get Claw Grimes rather than basic White Zetsu, however.
Well Kaguya used the divine treee to trap humans and manipulate them which turned them into white zetsu over years, code on the other hand split up the ten tails animalistic form and created the claw grimes which is a mix of the ten tails chakra his chakra and his shinjutsu.
Couldn't it be quite possible that Jaraiya knew flying raijin and so Kashin knew it. He may have never used it because it takes him time too and or he can't concentrate enough to use it effectively in battle. or even maybe Jairaiya knew the elements of it but was never able to put it together and so Kashin being an improved version of him essentially might now be able to or at least have the knowledge to pass to Boruto in order for him to master it or at least try. Which depending on how much memory Kashin has gotten back from the original. It might explain his comment about his grandad if Kashin also relayed some words about his grandad while teaching him.
I have always hoped that flying raijin were one of Kakashi's 1000 copied jutsu. If he had somehow thaught it Boruto and he could use it himself and showcased it in a fight... I'd be so so happy
impossible. kakashi can't copy flying raijin because the technique formula that needs to be created to use it requires no hand seals, and the sharingan can only copy jutsu that can be seen with hand seals.
My favorite part was p32, the closeup of Boruto's face right after he ducked, there is so much emotion on that face it really hurt. Also Nick did you notice the Konoha-symbol-item the frog was holding? Could that have been the FTG's beacon or perhaps was that meant to be used on 10-tails?
Again… my theory is that as a clone, Kashin Koji has his memories just like Delta does. But he’s emotionally disattached from his original life just like delta is. So he remembers training Minato and knows the flying raijin, even though he doesn’t use it himself. Why isn’t that obvious? And the rennigans clearly come from the ten tails. 🙄 The idea that it comes from sasuke is stupid af
As long as the DNA of Ashura and Indra are in a being, they have a possibility to awaken a Rinnegan. The only reason the ten tails had it was because it created chakra and was eaten by Kaguya who was the original possesser of the Rinnegan and an Otsutsuki. That is why it got one after Madara absorbed the God Tree, since he is Indra's reincarnate and all that was needed was Ashura's DNA to access said possibility. it gets confusing when you look at the details but this is all stated by Misashi Kishimoto and like Nic says. Kishimoto doesn't do something for nothing. always a hidden meaning OR a foreshadowing.
@@zmbioutlwten tails come standard with a rinnegan for a reason... If it was Soo dependant on having made a fruit and support an otsutsuki and have reincarnates why doesn't isshiki ten tails have the dharma eye
@@zmbioutlw I was thinking with boruto or himiwari one of them could awaken a rennigan because the dad got Indra chakra and hinata had bakyugan being decendant from the sage brother who went to moon to protect kaguya body, so wouldn’t that be like kaguya dna at least ? Maybe u need Indra and ashura that’s why momoshiki only said his dna inherits otsusuki
When they say his destiny is to be the child of prophecy or like his grandfather it makes me think that later on boruto is going to have to sacrifice his self to save the world like Minato sacrificed himself the night Naruto was born. Kishimoto really got me on the edge of my seat waiting to see how all this plays out . He been on fire 🔥 he writing like his life depends on it right now 😂💯💪🏾
As strange as it might sound, I wonder if Oorchimaru pulled Minito back using Edo. Oorchimaru tends to do what he wants, and if everyone thinks Naruto is gone, his protection is gone. If Boruto found him, attempting to find a way to turn Mitski to his side, Oorchimaru might have seen the writting on the wall and decided to buy time.
@@SecretMarsupial I was thinking about that as well, but we have seen Oorchimaru work with anyone, even his enemies, to stay alive or in a good way. The idea of "She warped reality to make everyone think Boruto is not Narutos son" is pretty direct, yes. But at the same time, when has Oorchimaru ever cared about brand loyalty? He is always in it for himself. If someone is "strong enough to kill Naruto" as far as anyone is aware, then they are an asset.
I interpreted this chapter as the tree being fully broken down into claw grimes, and it took over Code's own role in giving it sentience/ego. But the biggest thing I've been thinking... where is the super ego and id? Still in the people in the trees?
There are people in the Boruto timeline that know Flying Raijin, but are not proficient enough to use it on their own. The special jonin from Konoha used it to teleport Mei to the battlefield during the 4th ninja war, but it took 3 of them to do it. And it's also not impossible that the technique could be recorded on a scroll somewhere, the same way the Shadow Clone Jutsu was. If Boruto found that scroll, he could have learned FTG the same way Naruto learned how to use shadow clones without a teacher to walk him through it.
@@marethyumoros1741 he was in Konoha for 12ish years, was the son of Naruto and grandson of Minato. No doubt he heard plenty of stories about the legendary Yellow Flash from his time alive as a shinobi and as an Edo Tensei in the 4th Great Ninja War. By all rights he has more than enough reason to know how good at FTG Minato was, with or without any additional context that later chapters could provide.
I was gonna say the same thing , raido and genma as well as the third 4th hokage guard could’ve. But I think it’s more likely boruto got access to the scroll of seals like naruto did. It seems unlikely that the hokage guard would teach boruto since he’s a rogue ninja.
My favorite part of the chapter is Flying Raijin. Minato is one of my favorite characters so seeing his signature jutsu again being used is hype as fuck.
Especially that it’s being used by boruto who is very much like him while Naruto was always more like Kushina. As someone personally who isn’t like their mother but very similar to their grandmother maybe it’s just me but I liked it.
I believe the first Otsutsukis were shinju just like the 4 villains in Boruto i think a long time ago something caused a juubi to evolve just like the one in Boruto and turn into humanoid beings like the ones in Boruto. then these human-like creatures found a way to make a god fruit, consumed it, and became the first otsutsuki. once they became otsutsukis they could increase their population the same way humans do. since they are inheriting the genes of animals that have reproductive organs, these shinju beings would develop reproductive organs after eating a chakra fruit. This may be the reason why otsutsukis have very long life spans because they inherit the strong life force of the Juubi. Their appearance is also similar to a juubi jinchuriki.
Hmm I like this theory but they have mentioned many times that the Otsutsuki are an alien race that fought each other for existence so I don't see much co-operation between each other like the Shinju as seen with Kaguya and Ishikki. They always existed since the beginning and had a decent population to procreate like clans and realized conquering planets and eating the planets fruit through god tree & tentails(each being assigned one) made them stronger. However, I do feel that the fruits aren't meant for them but for their King. I do feel the first Strongest Otsutsuki is someone who ate the fruit or many fruits including their own planet something that made him the strongest and made him King or First God and assigned Different lower Otsutsuki (which where regular alien clans) to bring back fruits for the King. Again referencing Kaguya being sent to Earth with ishhiki, Momoshiki and his team, (Probably Shibai? but they chose to eat it themselves and in turn want to be stronger than the King Otsutsuki which would lead to war as we saw Kaguya know there was a war that will happen when they find out she ate the fruit on Earth and made the Zetsu army also predicting more clans to come to earth on the Kings command. This also explains why Shibai was trying to be stronger and made him something immortal. Maybe he is the Otsutski King/God himself who knows) But I'm sure they always existed like humans with a decent population.
I think Kishimoto decided to learn from Gege Akutami and make everything as weird and obscure as possible so then the whole fanbase goes like "ok where the actual fuck is this going now?". Don't think it's gonna be as brutal as Gege's style but I'd kinda be here for it if it goes that way, would be an interesting change of pace for the whole universe.
@@Just_Kanji I mean Two Blue Vortex been pretty mysterious and confusing from the get go. I have no clue if Kishimoto actually took it from Gege but it does feel kinda similar to JJK in that regard - you're not given all the answers and just left theorizing what the hell's gonna happen next. Except Kishimoto is more predictable than Gege, I mean just ask Nick about it.
kishi wanted Boruto different from Naruto.. Unlike Naruto, Boruto is a story where it's all happy but slowly as time passes by it becomes gritty and dark. It gets darker as time passes by.
So basically, by leaving his claw marks on the ten tails, Code accidentally deteriorated the chakra of the ten tails such that it developed an ego and created shinju-beings from chakra that want only to make a chakra fruit? Isn't this ten tails different than the ten tails that Kaguya fused with? So this ten tails that Bug took was basically Momoshiki's or Isshiki's? So does the ego in these shinju beings belong to Code or Isshiki? Maybe it belongs to that god Shibai? What even IS a ten tails? Is it just when an otsutsuki fuses with a god tree like Kaguya did? So the current ten tails in the Boruto story is some otsutsuki fused to a god tree from a different planet? Is eating an otsutsuki the same as fusing with it? So many unanswered questions!
@@professorpengu502 Doesn't really make sense because Kaguya fused with the tree to become ten tails, Kaguya's backstory doesn't make any sense, I hope we get more explained later on. Maybe we'll even see Kaguya revived to face Momoshiki or something.
Nick you’re wrong about nobody knowing the flying thunder god jutsu, a group of hokage guards are taught the technique and it’s passed down to allow the hokage transportation, it just requires 4 of them to do it😂
This man has single handedly convinced me that the Boruto sterotype isn't completely true. Edit: I think the brain washing severely lower Skikamaru's IQ....
Imagine what the Otsutsuki clan will think when they find out that one of their Jyuubi got turned into some weird claw monster things and that 4 of them managed to develop consciousness and an "ego"
so shikamaru says their is an internal spy on helping boruto. i know their are 3 ninjas who worked directly with the 4th hokage who, with their chakra combined, could perform the flying thunder god tech. mayb they taught boruto? idk…its kinda a stretch. mayb just one of them taught him?
Honestly, I think that Otsutsuki are just innately talented at Space-Time Ninjutsu/Shinjutsu. _All_ pure-blooded Otsutsuki (now including Boruto) have demonstrated an effortless ability to transition between dimensions; Flying Raijin is probably pretty simple in comparison.
Your right, during the 4th war the lava kage lady got teleported to the other kage when they started to get jumped by Madara. They even said it takes all 3 of them to perform the move compared to the 4th hokage
In your 'Sasuke's Location REVEALED?!' video, you said that the 'tree theory' came from an e-mail sent to you by someone else. Before that e-mail, you were on the clawgrime theory. You should at least give that person credit instead of just expressing that it was all just "formulated" by you and your brain, lol.
Amazing breakdown. Boruto is becoming SO good and I hate that it’s only monthly cause I want to know what happens AND I’m kind of addicted to Naruto fan fics, so the further Boruto progresses the more complete Fan fics can be made
No one should have been surprised that Koji ended up training Boruto. From the early days of Naruto, historical symmetry has been a major story element of these character's lives. He has Jaraiya's memories, which means he most likely has first-hand knowledge of the Flying Thunder God technique, considering Jaraiya was Minato's teacher. Boruto freeing Code from his Rasengan Usiheko served a dual purpose: 1, he was hopeful that between the two of them they could handle this threat right here and right now (largely due to his desperation in wanting to save Sasuke),. 2, allowing Code to be turned into an Upper Clawgrime would have been even more disasterous because at least now he is a predictable, easily dealt with enemy. Boruto has no idea what an amped-up Code would be like to deal with. At least Koji seems calm about things, which gives me hope. But holy hellburgers. There aren't that many ninja who can handle this new threat. I wonder if they will peak Daemon's interest.
Wait a minute! Did....did Boruto just become attack on Titan? "Man I got to find this particular type of person and eat them so I can get my true form! And I have no choice in the matter because it's based on instinct!"
The rinnegans that the claw Grimes have could be madara's rinnegans since we don't know what happened to them after madara died so it could be that they were just with madara's corpse (that would be insanely stupid tho) and code (or some other true villain from my head cannon) took them
i believe Boruto focused on the Shinju of Sasuke because if you kill the shinju of that person, it probably kills the tree that holds them and sets them free. Each shinju are probably feeding off of the chakra of the person they are appearing as.
If Sasuke’s left eye does get repaired it should be reverted to his ems. It’s cool if he gets his rinnegan back but what was the point of taking it away from him to begin with
Boruto's story is just getting more darker and heartbreaking that i think he has the most saddest backstory in the whole of Naruto franchise, Boruto literally got his life stolen from him by a person he considered a brother,Got a heavy blame put on him for what he doesn't even know a thing about,Have the whole ninja world as a whole against him waiting for him at anytime and any moment to kill him for what he didn't do,Has his freinds except two who wants to kill him especially his moon mitsuki,His sister calling him "BORUTO"instead of "BIG BROTHER", Hearing his sister call another person brother,His sister also forgot about him though she has some suspections and has no evil intention towards him,He has only one eye,His best teacher has turned into a tree and feels so guilty towards sarada cause of that he can't even bear to look at her and Bro literally got aliens coming after him and haters would still be speaking what else do thay want huh?😢😌
@@Ankit__Shah Can't believe you're trying to compare kawaki's story to Boruto rn lmao when kawaki's back story doesn't even hold a candle in front of kakashi, itachi and many Shippuden characters lmao😂🤣😭
I think it’s official at this point. Boruto has had a much better offscreen training arc than Naruto did in his in own offscreen training arc between their respective Parts. I mean Boruto learned to use a sword, chidori, a unique advanced form of the razengan, toad summoning, and Flying Thunder God technique. What did Naruto learn in comparison upon his return into Shippuden? A bigger Razengan and minor control of his Nine Tails Chakra mode. I know he gets more much later like Element Release, but still.
Personally, I like the chapter. Most events were expected, but it is interesting to see happening. I don't think that any of the shinju stole the jubbi. The jubbi probably was the leader (the one who looks like Isshiki). And as I said before, they could all have Rinnegan cause the jubbi has a Rinnesharingan, is something like the Paths of Pain. Also is interesting how all of they kept Codes shinjutsu ability as a part of they own. Could Code's marks and theirs be connected? Your theory on time travel could be possible, taking Boruto words about Minato. But I'm still thinking that Jogan Boruto has some kind of foresight ability, thanks to momo. And Who knows what broken ability would the Jogan have. Also the way Boruto released the uzuhiko looked like a seal, very similar to Minato, Jiraiya and Orochimaru making the seal in Naruto, especially Minato when he remade Kurama seal in Naruto). And at least is weird and unnecessary to me that Kishimoto give Boruto the flying r, cause Boruto has a Karma that does the same. Using a technique that broken is gonna make Boruto fights and scenarios very inconsistent. Like with Minato, he was the fastest but never was at the right time.
I think how boruto learned flying rajin was maybe from jiryia clone maybe he has some of the old memories when he was younger because he isn’t as old as he is in Naruto he could have his old mind or in flashbacks all the way up until he was cloned maybe jiriyu watch minato train on it and that’s how he learned it but it is weird boruto was talking like he seen him but it could be jiriya clone was telling him stories also boruto uses the pins to use flying rajin like he had a pin on the frog when he moved to code and that other shinju that he was calling harlequin is moegi that girl in konahamaru old team they used the same ninjutsu, also I think konahamaru will see his friend moegi in a tree in the village so he will convince shikamaru to assist boruto so he can free those 2 in the tree in village or maybe they will do it separate ways and get in each others way because konahamaru won’t let his best friend from a kid stay like that, or maybe konahamaru will see somethings not right and do it himself and assist boruto behind the village back and when he helps boruto he will wake up to reality and see boruto was apart of his team for so long
Boruto’s entire demeanor changed when he saw the claw grime Sasuke. He must have known that if he defeated that claw grime,he would free Sasuke from being trapped. That mental nerf almost got him killed back there
To be honest i dont think defeating that claw grime would free him, in my opinion he either have to defeat all clawgrimes since they are now like a mind of ten tails, or somehow get to the main body to ten tails wherever it is and destroy it.
So I watched most of the anime, but did you know that you are basically the only way that I am experiencing the current manga and I think that’s kind of cool I can just read you instead of it and still get what I want out of it and I get to watch tomorrow’s video discussing something that I’m gonna wonder about Sorry for bad translation I use text to speech
Why is nobody mentioning that the rinnegan in shippuden showed us that multiple people’s bodies could be using the same rinnegan? Like it doesn’t mean there are several new rinnegan here…just that they could be sharing the same rinnegan. Think back to the “6 paths of pain” of which they all shared a different path, but none were Pain (Nagato) himself. I suspect that these aren’t a bunch of new rinnegan, but instead sharing it with someone else. Just a theory.
So i read the offical translation so insted of Shinju they say "its a divine tree" and insted of developing egos its said that they gained self-awareness those are the most importent differences
I don't find it odd at all the Shinju keep referring to him as Boruto Otstsuki. They don't know his original last name and to them he's no different than someone descended from the Otstsuki clan. So in their mind that's his logical name.
Harlequin Shinju has to be Moegi. Same jutsu I believe. Shinju are basically white zetsu kinda, except they only have to be connected by the tree instead of wrapped around the host is what I think.
Maybe : 🎯😇The Scroll that Kashin Kogi STOLE from the Library was: MINATO FILE They wanted to steal the information on how to use flying Raijin. Maybe that’s how BORUTO learned how to teleport…
That was a epic showcase of sasuke. The fact that we see him sit next to the tree and then we see that the tree is sasukes tree of death is insanely cool and better then something i could think about. I cant wait for it to be animated.
Sasuke needs to run war games vs the other villages. Snag a different partner each time to act as the lesser otsutsuki and attack each village. Would make a dank movie.
15:15 That's terrifying! A buddy of mine was once writing a script about the horror of the god tree but never finished it. This thing just got more scary
The Harley quin shinju, has the same hairstyle as the girl that grew up with konahamaru. That's my guess especially since she has earth relase as well as yin yang release and can even use wood style
This confirmation of FTG being able to cross dimensions not only ups Boruto, but Minato as well. Not only is leaving him in another dimension not a win condition anymore, but heck, if Minato can somehow have his seal on another dimension, he can just tag you, teleport you to that dimension, and leave you there.
There are defenitly people that know how to use FTG! Remember those 3 dudes in the war arc that sent the mizukage to where madara was? Yeah, they know!
The "shinju" are called divine-trees in the Viz translation. which also implies that they did not steal the 10 tails, but the leftover 10-tails split into those 4 bodies. Also, anyone notice Mr. ImmaFlyUpHereLikeACoolGuy has thumbs as a extra toe/maybe the heel to his high heels since the front of his foot is pointed like a high heeled shoe
Perhaps Boruto when back in time during the timeskip and was the shadowy figure that appeared during the war arc in the Naruto Manga and observed Minatos use of the FTG, and perhaps Boruto has access to Jogan which may allow him to copy ninjutsu as we know that the Jogan has some abilities of all 3 main Dojutsu
So my only concern is that I think that to travel between dimensions uses more chakra because Minato didn’t use hand sign but it could also be the he’s not as skillful so maybe he needs hand sign 🤷🏾♂️
this is off topic but another application of tsukuyomi could be teaching specific Jutsu like ftg, assuming the wielder of the tsukuyomi was able to analyze a jutsu like ftg in use. they could then put a person in tsukuyomi and practically make them analyze how it works w the benefits of a sharingan.
I just had a super crazy thought. Like you mentioned, the shinju use the powers of the people trapped in the trees. What are the chances that the shinju chick could be Moegi? She seemed to perform earth release which could be a hint and would be a good close to home for boruto and the gang but also capacity for wood release makes new baddies serious bizzness 👀👀👀

Minato's personal guards also knew the flying raijin. We learned that during the Fourth Great Ninja War because teleported Mei to where Madara was but he couldn't have learned it from them since he was out of the village.
They very well could be retired by now as in the beginning of bourto “peace” was reached
@@Tenjikarazthey could still teach the technique in memory of Minato
He could have learned it from the toads since minato was contracted to them
Hagoromo did split the Ten-tails into 9 beasts which developed their own personalities and even had names, so it's possible that someone knew this was doable and attempted it.
Now that you say it, maybe we can use our tailed beasts in battle against them, and maybe Kakashi and Sakura are working on it offscreen

You're right that shinjū could be translated as 'double suicide', but it can also be translated as 'divine beast'. It just depends on the kanji being used. I think the latter is more likely, but ofc it could have a double meaning, which is pretty common in Japanese.

The thing that Boruto used to teleport was his konoha pin. You can see that it’s apart of his design, it’s pinned on his jacket to the left. Then you can see the toad is holding onto it while hiding on Code. So he put some type of marker on it or he doesn’t have to use a marker and he can just teleport to items (kinda like how Sasuke teleport would work)
Just markers
@@iamhugry I wonder if that’s the case. I assume since he called it flying thunder god and mentioned his grandpa. I just don’t see any marker plus he teleported to konoha above code. So did he mark code? Maybe he just has to picture something in his mind and he can travel to it… I guess we’ll figure out later on in the chapters
Could also be connected to Uzuhiko potentially
I guess Sasuke might’ve been able to teach boruto flying raijin since he’s seen the two people who created it use it, plus he could’ve used his sharigan to show boruto how proficient his grandfather was at it.

Smh. The ten tails has the rinnegan you guys are just making up shit now lol. They got the rinnegan for the ten tails

Kurama's chakra was involved in the rasengan + chidori that blew their arms off. Sasuke also used his flamecontrol to include black flames in the chidori so I suppose it simply were stronger attacks

Yes I know that Sasuke getting treed pushes Boruto forward but Boruto already had plenty of motivation, he lost his old life and most of the people he cared about turned against him.
gojo is new generation though, he was literally just too op. thats why they had to seal him, did you even watch the show?
Agreed this is very likely to be so, she's a master of earth release and last we seen of team shikadai during claw grime invasion there is no moegi there
Oh shit, that means Konohamaru would be *pissed*
If this is the case, I'd love to see Konohamaru become relevant again due to this

He can't copy flying raijin because it's just an instant teleportation. There's nothing to observe.
@@AlyMcFaesharigan copy ability, remember? It can see the flow of chakra
impossible. kakashi can't copy flying raijin because the technique formula that needs to be created to use it requires no hand seals, and the sharingan can only copy jutsu that can be seen with hand seals.
Minato not only got his own manga, dude got a power scale boost too. Fuck that contest was important 😂
Jiraiya never knew the flying raijin. But he watched Minato learn it so he probably understands what most ninja that learned it after Minato lacked.

I like this
Only potential hole in this that we know of is Orochimaru may have been affected by Eidas shinjutsu.
Still in the people in the trees?
superego and id are theories
There are people in the Boruto timeline that know Flying Raijin, but are not proficient enough to use it on their own. The special jonin from Konoha used it to teleport Mei to the battlefield during the 4th ninja war, but it took 3 of them to do it.
And it's also not impossible that the technique could be recorded on a scroll somewhere, the same way the Shadow Clone Jutsu was. If Boruto found that scroll, he could have learned FTG the same way Naruto learned how to use shadow clones without a teacher to walk him through it.
Yeah thank you. Same thing I thought.
But that doesn't explain how Boruto knows how good Minato is at FTG.
It seems unlikely that the hokage guard would teach boruto since he’s a rogue ninja.
they could be still alive
Maybe he is the Otsutski King/God himself who knows) But I'm sure they always existed like humans with a decent population.

kishi wanted Boruto different from Naruto..
To add to your theory, that _technically_ means that Claw Grimes and Shinju are effectively just better versions of White Zetsu.

Ya they think Boruto is the bad guy.. .

How could you not call her Harley Quinnju, IT WAS RIGHT THERE
The idea of Sasuke getting his eye AND arm back goes so hard
I get so excited watching these. Things are really heating up!
GOATRUTO 🔥💓🔥💓🔥
Every single chp of Boruto this year has been 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Huge Fax🔥 but be ready for boruto haters
Wait a minute! Did....did Boruto just become attack on Titan? "Man I got to find this particular type of person and eat them so I can get my true form! And I have no choice in the matter because it's based on instinct!"
I like the throwback of seeing Boruto and Koji together. It reminded of when Naruto met Jiraiya.
It’s possible that Boruto only recently learned the flying thunder god. Which would explain why he isn’t has good has the forth just yet.
I think Sasuke is clinging onto life.
Agreed. I do like the idea that getting Sasuke out of the tree could heal him completely
Huh,😂 come on dude saddest bad story, yeah kawaki doesn't exists!
man Kakashis backstory is insane
@@Ankit__Shah Can't believe you're trying to compare kawaki's story to Boruto rn lmao when kawaki's back story doesn't even hold a candle in front of kakashi, itachi and many Shippuden characters lmao😂🤣😭
@@nickylove4304 Was I the one saying, "Oh! The saddest backstory" nope. I gave you a relative reply, obviously Itachi takes the cake 🍰 in this regard.
@@nickylove4304 Well as for whether kawaki had it worse than boruto or not yeah he obviously had.
Yeah Nick we need you to be wrong about something your always spot on 😂 amazing work like always my favorite channel by far
I know he gets more much later like Element Release, but still.
been loving your coverage bro, thanks for the hard work
Personally, I like the chapter.
I think how boruto learned flying rajin was maybe from jiryia clone maybe he has some of the old memories when he was younger because he isn’t as old as he is in Naruto he could have his old mind or in flashbacks all the way up until he was cloned maybe jiriyu watch minato train on it and that’s how he learned it but it is weird boruto was talking like he seen him but it could be jiriya clone was telling him stories also boruto uses the pins to use flying rajin like he had a pin on the frog when he moved to code and that other shinju that he was calling harlequin is moegi that girl in konahamaru old team they used the same ninjutsu, also I think konahamaru will see his friend moegi in a tree in the village so he will convince shikamaru to assist boruto so he can free those 2 in the tree in village or maybe they will do it separate ways and get in each others way because konahamaru won’t let his best friend from a kid stay like that, or maybe konahamaru will see somethings not right and do it himself and assist boruto behind the village back and when he helps boruto he will wake up to reality and see boruto was apart of his team for so long
Your a goat NC you said everything word for word bar for bar. Your ego should be higher
@@ranner3 Could make sense since he was heavily focused on finding the 10 tails, but the way he focused on that claw grime had me suspicious.
So I watched most of the anime, but did you know that you are basically the only way that I am experiencing the current manga and I think that’s kind of cool I can just read you instead of it and still get what I want out of it and I get to watch tomorrow’s video discussing something that I’m gonna wonder about Sorry for bad translation I use text to speech
if something actually happens to sasuke ill be surprised
He got his arm and Rinnegan back
AYOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO THATS WILD!! AND YOU'RE A GENIUS
Boruto is the son minato never had.
You deserve to toot your own horn bro, your predictions in this one is crazy wild.
Maybe : 🎯😇The Scroll that Kashin Kogi STOLE from the Library was: MINATO FILE
They wanted to steal the information on how to use flying Raijin. Maybe that’s how BORUTO learned how to teleport…
The harley quinn shinju looks like Moegi?
Still sucks that Boruto timeskip has 90% belts for clothes
That was a epic showcase of sasuke. The fact that we see him sit next to the tree and then we see that the tree is sasukes tree of death is insanely cool and better then something i could think about. I cant wait for it to be animated.
Sasuke needs to run war games vs the other villages. Snag a different partner each time to act as the lesser otsutsuki and attack each village. Would make a dank movie.
Him and Gaara vs the Mist, Hinata vs Cloud, Konohamaru vs Stone, Killer Bee vs Sand, and Edo Itachi vs the Leaf.
Ur a scientist AND an man of culture. Ur intelligence is not in doubt and part of why I watch.
This man came out of no where n became my favorite anime RUclipsr…btw I hope that’s moegi cuz I need to see that new wood style
I’m going to get in trouble at work trying to listen to all these damn theory videos this coming week
Sense of humor is so on point I love the content 💯💯
The "shinju" are called divine-trees in the Viz translation. which also implies that they did not steal the 10 tails, but the leftover 10-tails split into those 4 bodies. Also, anyone notice Mr. ImmaFlyUpHereLikeACoolGuy has thumbs as a extra toe/maybe the heel to his high heels since the front of his foot is pointed like a high heeled shoe
Sick video, King! Keep them coming
It would be nice if Boruto would learn some sealing jutsu that Kushina had used. It will be a nice throwback to both his grandparents.
Love your stuff man. Can't look away.
It was amazing bro. Make me feel the way I did watching Naruto for the first time
I reluctantly caught up on Boruto at the beginning of the year... and oh boy do I not regret it... at all.
I lost my mind seeing sasuke inside the tree but anxious to see what happens next definitely will be bad ass
Hahaha I already have my notifications on but after today’s video ima FLYING to your uploads this year
"Kishimoto dosnt do anything without reason",
Madara's story
Sakura genjutsu
Akatsuki rings
So my only concern is that I think that to travel between dimensions uses more chakra because Minato didn’t use hand sign but it could also be the he’s not as skillful so maybe he needs hand sign 🤷🏾♂️
i´d wish you´d release these AFTER the official release. It was a torture ti not watch this b4 i read the chapter by myself.
this is off topic but another application of tsukuyomi could be teaching specific Jutsu like ftg, assuming the wielder of the tsukuyomi was able to analyze a jutsu like ftg in use. they could then put a person in tsukuyomi and practically make them analyze how it works w the benefits of a sharingan.
I'm betting that the female clone came from Moegi. Designs are very similar and Moegi used the same jutsu when Amado came to the leaf to defect.
Your ego should be even bigger my friend😅😅👊🏻👊🏻
