This is what Lonzo Ball must learn = go into the teeth of the defense for reverse layups. 😀😀😀 Can't stand outside all day just because it's safer out there = no physical contact.
@@pedrofmc0000 Yeah, but he tends to have bad multiples of games in a row. Very, very streaky. A little better than when he entered the league but it'll always be an issue with him.
@@zyxwut321 When Rubio arrived in Minnesota his couch didn't know how to take advantage of his way to play and even so he fulfilled what he wanted him to do, "assists". Once in Utah, he changed radically his way to play and began to score much more 3 PFG and 2. If he's got that new contract I don't think it's been because he's useless for the team, Suns believe in him. Nobody pays a 3-year-contract 51 million$ for a bad player.

He's a great defender and team player. I believe he'll help a lot the young players in Phoenix. I wish he had stayed in Utah.
Rubio's game has changed substantially. He doesn't really give you the flashy assists anymore. But he has improved his shot a lot and you can always trust him to make the right sensible play.
DeAndre Ayton, last year's #1 Draft Lottery Pick was not featured that way = head coach fired after only 1 year. 😞😞😞😞 A true Floor General to the rescue in Ricky Rubio. New head coach specializes in developing Centers/PFs.
He join ACB league at 14, most younger player in Spain history, enter to spain all-star team at 16, won a olimpic silver medal at 17, usa get the gold. Pick 5 in NBA draft at 18, but the team owner demands 5 € millions for traspassing and he can't afford, he takes the team owner to tribunals and was banned from team, his carrer almost done. Fc Barcelona (Barça) same city big rival team pay 3,7 € millions for him, most spensive traspass in spain history at this time, and won 3 tittles that year including Euroleague being the most younger player who winning it in history. At 20 years old he become THE ONLY player in Europa history who win all the competions in a seasson, ACB, Euroleague, FIBA eurocup, ULEB cup, Spain cup and ACB cup. At 21 years old he arrives to NBA...
I agree. I consider him elite. He is capable of winning. From what I see, Rubio's game opens up when there is competitive nature. And he absolutely has made the game look so easy on both ends.
Chioke Barbour Exactly everybody wants a high-scoring guard but what he does boosts every other person on the team. His impact and his play type is something that stats will never show
@chrismotions yes! Its proven. In minnesota, he basically had three 20 year old players, averaging around 20 points/game. Once again, individuals have made the mistake of not considering his effortless impact on the game without averaging 10 apg in a season
Chioke Barbour exactly. I just wish people would look at the deep numbers or even just the eye test, as the game is much more than stats, hopefully PHX is perfect for him to help them get to the playoffs so people can see his impact
Oh yes he is underrated. It's a shame. He does a lot of things instinctively and exceptionally well that factor into winning. People make the mistake of thinking he's a bad shooter, when really its him choosing not to shoot the ball over 20 times a night.
That is correct. He can properly facilitate a team that has adequate or perennial players at each position and still be uniquely creative and tremendously assertive. I like a lot of players for what they do but Rubio has a pecuilar feel for the game that goes unmatched
Why did Jazz let him go, is Mike Conley that much better than him? That backcourt under sized now plus he’s older too and didn’t his wife have an affair and got pregnant and he still stayed with her. 😂😂😂
Looking back now the jazz should have kept rubio he averages the same amount of points like conley does on his utah stint but more efficient in the field with way more assists
Title: rubio's passing
Then literally shows 90% of him scoring
Exactly. Horrible video. And they don't have any reason to use a clickbait but used it anyway. Wonder why
This is the NEW RUBIO. 😀😀😀
We all remember Ricky Rubio as allergic to scoring.
This is what Lonzo Ball must learn = go into the teeth of the defense for reverse layups. 😀😀😀
Can't stand outside all day just because it's safer out there = no physical contact.
El REY DEL PASE.
Lmao the casuals calling Rubio "trash". The guy is underrated.
Rubio the most underrated PG in the league behind Conley
i was gonna like this comment until i read the last two words
Brett James duh he is underrated he was picked over steph curry and he is underperforming for his pick
Didn’t age well
World Cup MVP
Rubio isn’t always good, but when he’s good, he’s GOOD.
Exactly
No one is always good, even the best players have bad days.
Closest thing in today's game to Pistol Pete.

Damn these passes to the rim are so sick!
Hahahah
All time leader in assists in FIBA World Cup championships. And he´s not 30 yet
He plays less games than the previous record's holder as well

Ricky "Russ dad" Rubio.
a big fan of Rubio since his rookie season in Minnesota
MVP of the world championship, MVP of the final, 1 of the ideal team in the world championship. If someone still doubts is crazy
That play at 11:37 was sick
Rubio is perfect for the Suns, Booker will get some much needed help along with Ayton
Still a PASSING wizard
Video: he can shoot threes
He does the most with the least. His whole game is "old man at the park".

He will help d book develop as a passer💯 and so much more
Can't Believe I watched Over a Minute of this before I saw an Pass..
Those right handed reverses are 🔥🔥🔥
Most underrated player in NBA last 20 years.

Rubio clutch
most of this video is him scoring 💀 misleading title
As a Jazz fan, I miss Ricky already!
Ricky SMOOTHE Rubio
When the jazz is composed of very high IQ players
2 years ago, Rubio was a NON-FACTOR when it came to long-range shooting.
Underrated
Oh yes he is underrated. It's a shame. He does a lot of things instinctively and exceptionally well that factor into winning. People make the mistake of thinking he's a bad shooter, when really its him choosing not to shoot the ball over 20 times a night.
Its all threes and layups
PointGod

I hope he makes PHX a decent Team
he did!
They tried to kill him this season.
Do you know what pass mens why are you puting 3pt from Rubio. Pass means when you give the ball to youre team mate
Also the Wizard of defending from *behind*
he left cos of conley. and conley isnt having any yet. jazz would have been deadlier if hes still around
Why did Jazz let him go, is Mike Conley that much better than him? That backcourt under sized now plus he’s older too and didn’t his wife have an affair and got pregnant and he still stayed with her. 😂😂😂
Conley is a much more consistent shooter. That's what the Jazz needed.
Looking back now the jazz should have kept rubio he averages the same amount of points like conley does on his utah stint but more efficient in the field with way more assists
He signed with the Suns.. so basically retired from the NBA
Nah
Rubio was only a matter of time
I dont understand why the jazz let him go.
Ricky Rubio > LeTrash
Passing?????
The next steph curry
Okay, where are his passes?
👌
He’s a good player but he’s hella bad on 2K
G
