The Left hand faders always control head no's 1-20. However all fixtures can be selected via the home screen or controlled via the Intensity window (with an intensity encoder from v8 onwards).
Hi Filip, in this show the lights where positioned using MagicQ and then the show loaded into QuickQ. You can do basic focuses using the QuickQ designer software, this is done via the Vis window and then toggling to the plot view and selecting design mode. Future functionality will be coming to QuickQ designer to enhance this process in future.
@@ChamSysLtd Is this future functionality still being worked on? I feel like the QuickQ Visualizer is still very lacking. It would be great if the MagicQ visualizer could be included in the QuickQ software so two pieces of software do not need to be installed and used.
We don't at present, but we're in the process of updating our QuickQ videos. Recording to the Execute window is the same as the Left hand faders when in cue mode, you can record single cues only to each square in th Exec window.
how can i get the magicviz to work with my quickq 30 console i tried with my macOS and it wouldn't connect to magicviz changed the ip address tried matching them and still wasn't able to connect to magicviz.. it just keep saying searching for console
You'll need to have a static IP address set on your Mac, in the same range as the console IP address. We're just working on a setup video for this at the moment. In the meantime, if you need assisstance your welcome to book a session for support here: go.oncehub.com/Chamsysusaofficehours&thm=blue&bt=1
I’ve tried every possible thing and I can’t get a basic manual crossfade between 2 cue faders. If I set I cue to red and one to blue on a basic RGB fixture the instant tje second fader engages the new cue snaps in. Every other console I’ve used the crossfade. Makes tje console basically unusable. It does the same thing in all your demo shows. Seriously dumb design. I sold it after 2 frustrating weeks. My old Jands CL does most things better
Sorry to hear this! Did you contact our Support team to see if they could assist? QuickQ can do this when no HTP attributes are in the Cue. If we can help further please do let us know.
Is there a way to record more than two Chase scenes on the quick Q10 board? Two Chase scenes give me enough for one song :/
Hello.
Is there more than 1 layer on faders ?
If I have more than 20 fixtures to control with faders on the left side ?

How were the magicviz lights positioned and focused?
Was that done on magigQ and imported or is it possible using just QuickQ ?

@@thegtrsr1 It is indeed in the pipe for the future very much still!
when i set up a chase and hold down my chase window doesnt open like yours
Try double tapping here instead to open the cue stack window.
Can you explain how cues work in execute mode? Is there a video for that?
We don't at present, but we're in the process of updating our QuickQ videos.

Can i deselect an effect running on a cue so that i can record a new cue without it.
Currently not, this is something we are looking at for future update of QuickQ software.

you should add chapters to your videos that way we can find the sections we need.
The QuickQ videos are broken down into bitesize videos, though we are working on some updates to them for later this year.
It is possible to change direction of circle fx ?
Hi Luke, this isn't possible on QuickQ.
For any one reading now, this function is now available in the QuickQ software
great video but the constant music bed makes it painful to listen too.
Thanks for the feedback! We'll bear this in mind for future videos.
