Jinbei is such a good, honorable, handsome, strong , caring, fun, smart and nice dude, I love him, currently he's easily in my top 3 Straw Hat members (And man, that "mere Yonkou" line was everything, I cannot even begin to tell you how wonderful he was in that moment)

Which was mostly from Luffy, Chopper, Sanji and Zoro handling the real serious fights before the time skip and other events/crew members joining the Straw Hat pirates.
Brook may be the oldest straw hat, but Jimbei is definitely the wisest member/associated party (I say that because he is technically captain of the Sun Pirates still.) The opening was Jimbei's words to Luffy when he was taken to the Beast Island to train with Rayleigh, the words that finally snapped him out of his coma of despair. From the moment I met him in Impel Down, talking to Ace, I knew Jimbei was a fish man worthy of my respect, regardless if he turned out to be racist and evil, like Arlong, or reserved yet caring, which he ultimately was revealed to be.

I'm actually quite peeved that Jinbei isn't around permanently. Oda has been really pushing further and further away from the interpersonal relationships of the crew in favor of new character interactions with no depth. Jinbei and Luffy's relationship is one that overflowing with depth. When Luffy was seperated from the crew with his brother dead and seemingly nothing (he felt) to live for Jinbei snapped him out of it. That quote at the beginning when it was said in series I teared up a little bit because it was reflection of a family that was formed by choice and the bond the crew had and Jinbei reminding Luffy of that bond. Later when Jinbe shared his blood with Luffy. When the series brings up the sake cups to symbolize a brotherhood I snark at it because it's got nothing on literally sharing your blood with someone you hold in high regard to save their life. It's poetic in a 'not cheesy' way. Also Jinbei really is the wise old sage the crew needs.
i like how jimbe,boa hancock,kuma and doflamingo as warlords have a relatively small introduction or hint before getting a lot of information about them hundreds of chapters later(or decades from their original look being shown and being mentioned alongside a timeskip character to their 1st appearance in hancocks case.still would love it if that original design for her was made a costume in an ova or the games.:3) i hope jimbe and hancock get involved in the events of wano and both become strawhats.(jimbes still alive its just now a question of when he'll show up or if it'll be a big damn heroes moment showing up with the sun pirates and/or the grand fleet or saving luffy from big mom or kaido.)

As someone who's currently at Fishman Island. Jinbei is pretty cool. he really did help Luffy come to terms with Ace's death.

@@staticshadic I seee... From what I've seen of him from the Marineford arc he seems fine to me. Why would him not having any gag moments not make him worthy of being a strawhat? Robin is always serious unless you consider her dark sense of humor to be a gag.

I personally think Jingbane is a pretty cool guy. Jimbee is really powerful and will make a fine addition to the crew.
An interesting note: when people asked Oda why Jinbei doesn't appear in the Straw Hat color spreads, Oda explained that this was due to a surprise in his appearance after parting ways with Luffy after Whole Cake Island. I wager he's going to be missing an arm or some other body part(s) by the time he comes back.

4:41 i have a question since jinbe can speak to fish and chopper can speak to any animals i think chopper can speak to any animal because there is a universial language for all animial since jinbe can speak to fish that meand he can speak to any animal because there must be a universial language so theese are the only thing that make sense if he cant speak to another animals theres just language for fishman and fish or a plot hole
