So pleasurable watching this. My g60 is days away from being ready too get back on the road in the UK for after 4 years tucked away. This got me so excited :D
Binge watching on my travels from Virginia to Atlantic City on your videos my man !! Another banger for sure. One of the most iconic cars and your video just made it better from the music to the b roll.
Fire as always. Your work is immaculate, unbelievable that you're only just starting to blow up. Can't wait to see how far you go man, keep it up. Also, what's the name of the last track? Can't find it anywhere- wanna vibe to the thought of this Corrado during Golden Hour on repeat!
Thank you! And yeah I’ve definitely thought about them! But I’d rather just crawl on the ground for the little amount I actually do this kind of work! If I was doing 3 cars a week, that would be different!
This will be a hot take, and I know you're sponsored by GG but you should try other products. I don't know what combination causes it exactly, but I had this happen with some compounds too. Maybe it's the pads or the compound and the speed in combination, it can be a lot of variables, I'm sure Larry from AMMO would know the science behind it but it leaves pretty bad pinholes/pinmarks in the finish. 9:34 for example. I've seen it on another channel as well where the guy makes quality videos with great music and without much talking and also use GG products. I've been using Scholl Concepts compounds for the last 4 years and it was an absolute game changer for me, they leave lasersharp reflections and almost wetsand+compound clarity in all of the cars I've done in two step. Loved the video though, really ignited the urge in my to get Rado VR6 to pair with my pride 'n joy Vento VR6 . It would be a great combo for sure. Keep up the good work and fingers crossed you'll pop up to do some work on Jimmy Oakes's cars some day again, you two always make great content. 🤜🤛
Thanks for watching, and I appreciate your input, but let me add some context so you have a better understanding of what’s actually happening. The pitting you’re seeing at 9:34 for example, is actually a result from two different things; it being a horizontal surface and wind abrasion. The wing is obviously a flat surface, and contaminants over the years get stuck on it with nowhere to go; simply because it’s a flat surface and it’s much harder for dirt/water/etc to escape naturally because of gravity. Also, the wing is plastic and much more malleable than its metal counter parts, such as the roof, which has significantly less pitting. Lastly the wing automatically lifts up at 40mph every time you drive it and positions the wing at a slightly forward pitched angle, resulting in a metaphorical “wall” facing - against - the wind. This results in any and all debris to actually smack against the surface, rather than gliding off of it, much like a front bumper or grille, and is essentially “sandblasting” the surface in comparison. This pitting you’re seeing has absolutely no relation to any compounds/pads/speed variations being used. In fact, that theory doesn’t even add up; but I digress. Once you’re actually the person *doing* the work and seeing the real life conditions of these paints and how different areas of cars are naturally affected by wind abrasion and stagnant contaminants, you’ll have a better understanding of why certain parts of these panels are in better or worse condition than others.
Great job man! It came out beautifully 😍 What's the wheel and tire specs on that Corrado? Trying to figure out what size tires to go with for my new 17" RS. The fitment on those are 💯🔥
Amazing work as usual. Love the colour, love the car (my father bought a g60 new -91 in sweden) . A thing I thought, is the purple colour original? If so, i thought wag cars had better quality.
Yep! I think PPF is one of the most counteractive things you can do to your paint. The previous owner, before Blair, installed it 20+ years ago which is why it took the paint with it upon removal.
I used to be a fan,
But now I’m a 12 Ton 144,400 BTU Industrial Air Conditioner
👍
My brotha stays around to keep the kid cool eh 🥺❄️
Waiting on that Aidan x Chromatic collaboration patiently
Who you tellin 🥺
Possibly one of the best colours VAG have ever produced, great to see it being preserved 👌🏻
That fuel cap flip to show the paint in the light!!! Such a good touch
Hahahaha thank you!! Loved that bit

That’s awesome hell yeah! And yes! This is an original color! Paint code is “LC3U”
When I was a kid I use to wait for Santa to put the presents under the tree, now I just wait for Aidan to post
Wow 🥺🤍
@@AidanTemplin 🤙
Amazing stuff as usual. Would love to know what tire dressing you use?
Thank you so much! And I use Griots satin tire shine!!
Bro where tf you get these nice beats from? Im always struggling to find some cc free music for my vids..
doesn't the front end having to be repainted from removal completely make the purpose of the PPF pointless? very cinematic to watch nonetheless
Yep! I think PPF is one of the most counteractive things you can do to your paint. The previous owner, before Blair, installed it 20+ years ago which is why it took the paint with it upon removal.
