Hey if you could cut these videos into chapters so people can navigate to whatever information they need, that would be a tremendous time saver. thank you
Have a strong heart, strong lungs, physical flexibility, healthy bone density, strong and stable joints, muscular endurance, comfort with and as much extra capacity as you can develop for bearing heavy weight... functional strength. You don't need to look like a stud. Just be able. Determination and a frame of mind where "Challenge is good" and "I can do that" drive you onward. And like they said in the video, a mind oriented towards problem assessment, organizing and solving... with action.
PSYOP, Special Forces (Green Beret), and Civil Affairs are all part of Special Operations but the mission sets is very different. PSYOP can be employed independently or in conjunction with the other Special Operations. PSYOP is more about effecting behavioral changes in a target audience though inform and influence campaigns while Special Forces are direct action functions. I know this is vague, but thats the best I can do in a short comment!
If I am joining right out of the gate or more specifically if I am going straight done high school to psyops with no prior military experience will I still go through an assessment/selection process I know that my contract was very rare and I was lucky to have secured it so it makes since why I can’t find much Info on psyops as an enlistment mos
@@maison6664 not much you can do if you already have a waiver. If it’s 37f you are set on you could look at the reserve side. There is no airborne requirement to be reserve 37f
@@maison6664 the likely hood of actually getting selected is slim to none anyway speaking from an inside perspective so they won’t cut corners for 37f. If you have DLAB and clearance you should look at 35m it could peak your interest. Also look at civil affairs very similar to psyop.
I’m currently serving and not many of us care being called guys. Guys is more of a vague term for a group of people anyway. Don’t read too much into it, it’s not that serious.

This is an awesome resource. Thanks for putting this together.
At 37:29 he mentions a website to go to for PT plans. I can’t quite make out what he’s saying though for the site.

Are you able to pick which continent you are active in? (Could you choose eurocom)?
Can you guys talk more about the physical aspect at selection?

Can you bring any psyop who came from medical MOS/AOCs?
I’m currently serving as a 12B Sapper in The guard. Does National guard have psyops or is it just active?
Does anyone know the actual PT requirements at selection? I haven't been able to find their standards anywhere.
What part of the process does language school fall under
How can we join the slack group?
WHAT IS THE CLASSIFICATION ABOUT?
What happens if you make it through selection and than you have orders to go to another duty station?
Your orders will be dropped and new orders will be cut. Upsets HRC a bit, but hey, thats how it goes sometimes
What is the difference between Psyops and Green Berets? Are they the same thing?

What's the website he keeps saying?
Any good POCs for any of those PS Marines that came over? I’m going through this process right now with not many questions answered.
The only POC we have are the SORB recruiters. They are the experts when it comes to the processes that get sister services into the SOF community
Thanks for the Video
Since it is now ACFT Will we now be using ACFT?
For selection

Hopefully you made it.
any 37f opt 40 info?
You can’t do both
No such thing as a 37 f with an opt 40 contract

@@maison6664 try to get your waiver clears or something airborne is kind of a joke and not very physically demanding so that’s your best shot
Very informative and interesting, but why is this material in the public domain, at this level of detail?
It's recruitment. They need soldiers, men and women who want to serve in a challenging field.
Let's dance fellas

You use the word "guys" a lot. My DAUGHTER is currently in training.
I bet if she's in training she'd be able to handle these guys saying " guys " alot.

"Guys" is colloquial for "people". C'mon, you know better.
