In several cases it's probably overwhelming so they probably can't translate anything at all lest it turns out confusing or out of context to the English speaking viewers.
The translator did a good job here, they listened to everything Han had to say first before translating the main parts. The pace would be slower than translating into a speech anyway, you have to consider the translator's typing speed as well.
Im all late but i agree the translator did a shit job i translate ASL& am Trilingual SL interpreter (español/portugués/english) and its what we literally HAVE to do we cant half ass translations especially if theyre live you have to understand that even though it might seem hard we study and practice hard especially if its translations for other languages we can be held liable for mistranslations JS 🤷♀️

I honestly don't know what to think about the new ASC. I feel like the show got so serious. I watched the episode because it's SKZ but I didn't fully enjoy it. Wouldn't say it was boring but so different than before. I don't really mind the set to be empty, even though I liked the previous one better, they still can change it or add some furnitures. But there's definitely less fun than before on the set. As someone who has been watching ASC for four years, I feel like there's no time now for overseas fans, wich was actually the idea of ASC. Everything seems rushed and really strict. They are really following their lines and try to be as serious as possible. I miss the old ASC, the LOA on the wall, all the signed albums on the set and the picture with MCs at the end of the show. I'll be watching the episodes to let them have some time to actually adjust with everything new. I just hope that it will become better and better as time passes by. Right now, I just feel like ASC is another talk show/interview. It's basically PopsInSeoul 2.0 but longer.
I agree with you. I remember when Rome and Eric hosted it and sang the opening song. I loved watching it coz its like one of the few shows where u can understand what's going on. But it just feels weird. I miss the old studio. Where the selected viewers cld be seen in the background and not only the people who they chose for interactions. I havent watched in a while but i feel it now doesnt feel like an international show now. They were talking so much in korean when before it used to be english most of the time.

The old concept of the show was way much better. And I'm not only talking about the design of the studio. I liked those VCRs every time a segment changed (the ones where idols were pointing at the name of a segment). Hangouts were also a completely different experience. Okay, maybe less people could get on the show, but you could have a quick small talk with the group and even take a photo with them. And now? It's like "We don't have time to ask you what's your name or where're you from, so just say what you want from the group so we can move on to the next person"... It used to be my favourite show😔

Oh no trust you're not the only one who feels like that. It's like the further the "seasons" go the less entertaining and interesting it gets. And yeah idk wth happened on their episode I was so excited to see them, watched it live like you and was just highly disappointed with it. In my personal opinion Eric(especially him) and Kevin needs to come back, they need to bring back the After Show and then even with the new Mc's(KErMin will always be the best to me) it would be at least enjoyable and not as boring! And then also something I been peeped back in like 2016 is once the groups "blow up" we NEVER see them again. And I'm glad that ASC is a place for and give opportunities to rookie groups always liked that concept, but don't make it just for them, have some Sunbae's and well known/popular groups too(grant it I do think it's not entirely their fault when it comes to that but still). But I do feel like ASC keeps getting new bosses/CEO's throughout the years, which is where this whole "down hill" feeling is coming from. But yeah idk, idk man I agree very much with you!

I love how confident Woojin is with his singing. From their early debut days and even now most of the members get really shy and embarassed when asked to show their talent ("sing a line from this song" or "show us the choreography for that performance" etc.) but Woojin never hesitates. we stan a king who knows he's a king

Oh no trust you're not the only one who feels like that. It's like the further the "seasons" go the less entertaining and interesting it gets. And yeah idk wth happened on their episode I was so excited to see them, watched it live like you and was just highly disappointed with it. In my personal opinion Eric(especially him) and Kevin needs to come back, they need to bring back the After Show and then even with the new Mc's(KErMin will always be the best to me) it would be at least enjoyable and not as boring! And then also something I been peeped back in like 2016 is once the groups "blow up" we NEVER see them again. And I'm glad that ASC is a place for and give opportunities to rookie groups always liked that concept, but don't make it just for them, have some Sunbae's and well known/popular groups too(grant it I do think it's not entirely their fault when it comes to that but still). But I do feel like ASC keeps getting new bosses/CEO's throughout the years, which is where this whole "down hill" feeling is coming from. But yeah idk, idk man I agree very much with you!
