Georgia fan here, not upset one bit. Two things I’ve learned in life, pay your taxes and never bet against Nick Saban. I have nothing but respect for the Tide and their program. You all have been the gold standard since Saban arrived and deserve a spot in the playoff. Hopefully there’s enough chaos where Bama and Georgia get in. Go Dawgs.

TBF, as a Bama fan, I hoped Bama would win but cmon..betting against Georgia is a bad bet every time. Its Bama and Georgia 1 and 2. Everytime man. Neck and neck. Both programs can and do take it all the way.

@@seangearhart4616not every time. We literally best them 42-24 two years in a row. Usually it’s an tough outing like this one. But yes, UGA is the second best team in the nation. Tired of the BS hype of Michigan, Washington etc… As someone who lives in Georgia, the majority of UGA fans are class acts. Unfortunately I don’t think the committee want either of us in cause they know both teams will just steamroll teams to get back to one another. They’re trying to convince us we “need” 12 teams in. Any other year with the wins Bama had after Texas and they would’ve been ranked 3/4th heading into this game. Thankfully SEC fans know what’s up. This basically was the NC game. Good luck to UGA in their bowl game!

They never took it away. We’ve won 3 of the last 4 SECCGs and haven’t had a losing season to UGA since ‘07. (Went .500 in ‘21/‘22) That was the media/talking heads. Saban is 5-1 against Kirby for a reason.

The site of this game needs to be evaluated going forward. The SEC has shifted westward and the conference is now big enough to build their own venue or at least alternate east side vs west side. Atlanta is not the right place to host this every year!
Actually I would say Georgia only had a slight edge with fans. 55/45 Georgia. It was pretty evenly split.

Bama fan here.. I'm just afraid that crazy committee will try to leave the SEC out this year. It wouldn't surprise me if they did just that. If they don't have the balls to put Bama in, I hope UGA doesn't fall far and they get in. The SEC is the best conference in the land. If the committee is for real and they choose the four best teams, we got to have at least one of our teams in there. Roll Tide!

Don’t get me wrong, I’m grateful that Alabama won. I say this with a lot of humility, If Alabama executed all the underneath stuff that was available and utilize their speed guys after the catch this game could’ve been really lopsided in Alabama’s favor. The defense was outstanding, but I would also say that I was not understanding the run past selection for Georgia. It made no sense!

I know a Georgia fan that was at the game. He said that there were several Dawgs in the stands that gave Alabama a standing ovation. I don't think he would bullcrap, and I can't say that's 100% fact.
