These guys are soul musicians, their talent is amazing and they just play for the pleasure to create music
I'm glad they are just drinking and chatting quite naturally. They all seem so quirky and unique in the way most geniuses seem to be. Also they have that rock an roll attitude despite there {jazz} connotations.
Perfect read. You can tell he's exceedingly humble and highly respectful of other players. It shows in every interview or instructional piece I've seen him do.
This is among the most intelligent After Concert Interviews i have ever seen
Also pretty smart questions by the Interviewer
There are so many epic moments squeezed into these eight minutes! :)
It's impossible not to love these guys!
I love Guthrie's reaction to Bryan talking about Greg Howe.
lol these guys are funny as hell
I was thinking the exact same thing. Guthrie has some genuine socially awkward moments. It's like he always desperately wants to be playing guitar, he has to work so hard to resist the urge.
hahaha made my day!
these guys are great :)
That voice..
Is it just me, or does the interviewer keep snorting? xD It's awesome!
You can tell the way they talk, they don't have many managers, representers marketers etc between them and the press/people.
Interviewer: Would you say your music is the new jazz?
Guthrie (looks at Marco, looks at Bryan): No...
this is why subtitles were invented
i have one of thoose roosters too ! :)) they are amazing
Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas T-shirt! Nice one Guthrie.
I love it haha
Ha! That reminds me of my Mom, cautioning me against the perils of a musician's lifestyle: "Just look at him. Look at his eyes. You can tell he's on something!"
3:16 LOL, they can't handle that voice
that chick sounds hot...
Focus solely on Guthrie's face from 4:35 to about 4:45, through Bryan's comment about Greg Howe. It's the nuance of body language. His nodding is a silent "damn right!" If you need further explanation you were probably not held as a baby, ; ]
interview talking making me crazy man lmao omg this woman ahahah.
German beer will do that. He is stoked! :)
Why did this organization/whatever pick the interviewer with the heaviest lisp?
Last night in Charlotte,N.C. these "Jazz Fuckers" knocked me out!!!
What to do if you meet Guthrie, Marco OR Brian: Ask about living the dream and maybe get a couple of tips for a humble amateur musitian.
What to do if you meet Guthrie, Marco AND Brian: "Ok kids it's time to rock this shit !!, I'll get the boose you get the chicks".
for sure I would hire an interviewer like that...
They just come across as "good" guys - sweet!
I wanna know what happened in Japan. xD
This is very entertaining..... jazz even. LOL
3:24 These guys are awesome. The guy on the left looks like he is hopped up on something tho haha.
It's Just music! Love them, real Artists... and posers call new nonsense names for the their music if they change the angel of their farting.
It's not a 'lisp', it's a 'slip' of the tongue. Couldn't resist. I know what you're saying. This, combined with the indefinable accent as I mentioned in an earlier comment, makes the interview a bit rough. Maybe it's a matter of budget and 'good enough' fit the bill. I can't imagine a top-name interviewer doing something like this.
whats his reaction ? he just nods his head explain?
that poster in the back looks like an annotation
3:25 makes this interview xD
I don't understand all those questions
Is she a Japanese German? I can't place that mutt of an accent for the life of me, but I always tip my hat to someone who handles English as a second -- or third, or fourth -- language this well.
no further explanation needed
Guthrie is a very tasteful person, i mean becks is a really good beer
the interviewer is soo funny haha
how are they even understanding what that woman is saying?
""there jazz animals""
LOL
Talk about an awkward interview. Govan looks like he just wants out of there. (Can't blame him if that is what he was thinking.) Guthrie can also be quite quick witted, and it looks like he's just saying to himself, I'm just going to keep quiet here? Finally, at 5:14, Guthrie for some unknown reason gives the interviewer a Charley Manson look. Don't know why, but he looks like he could kill her.
Too funny !!
loooool
MM GG and BB
lol bryan beller is fucking great
just shit hot playing blokes luv um
@1:38 Marco doing the pig thing again. Guthrie: stop it.
hahahahahahahahaha!!! the pig and the chicken!!!
lady you could really just speak in german and marco would translate to the guys...
the chicken
guthrie is definitely on the spectrum
HAHAHA THE VOICE OF THAT CHICK
Guthrie has the weirdest set of of ticks ive ever seen hahaha
Whatsup with the weird talking woman
Japanese+German accent is not understandable !
Guthrie Govan is God!!!!
They look drunk
I meant just in general lol. He has a weird set of mannerisms and idiosyncrasies.
