So I put a phoenix perk on my redemption norn, and when it uses the phoenix perk and it dies again, it doesn't use the revive for the second time, I also played some moves with other dragons bc I thought there was a cool down but still it doesn't use the move, I think I just wasted it
Collections or wizard's hollow. They were handing them out like candy before, now they seem to have forgotten about them. Maybe now that the event structure is going back to normal, we'll get breeding perks back again too
No. Reapers + Phoenix works best on spikes imo especially quills and Pegasus. Their main attribute is their reflection skill and they hard counter Arcanas. With max Reapers they can potentially instakill dragons like HAJ, guaranteed to cancel out heroic Pheonix Perks because they're a lower rarity. Pheonix to keep them alive for another turn if they get oneshot. I think health could also work as an alternative to this one but health is rarer than Pheonix right now, need it for Karmas or guards
I've seen a lot of debate with the Spiked dragons. Since I haven't had a chance to test these myself, I'd rather not spout complete misinformation. The others, I've actually been able to try

Any breedable dragon yes, you can empower it via breeding. This is just one of the main empowerment methods, but you should always be working on 1 breedable dragon

But they don't really benefit from the reaper perk without additional damage, as in their skill doesn't really support it, if you understand what I mean? Of course that doesn't mean ou can't use it, however berserkers get a direct damage boost from it, whereas extractors only get the healing back, which I don't think is quite as significant

I know many of the skills are bugged so this may be one of them. For the cat 9 dragons, yes, you can use essence for trading but I wouldn't recommend using jokers
I don't recommend it, it's completely random and the odds are stacked against you. It's almost a scam. As a new player you'll get VIPs eventually from events, chests drops and orb trading. Save your gems for the hatchery slots, breeding tree and races imo. Trying to complete the hollow is more of a late game thing, it's not impossible but you'd need a lot of luck and an absurd amount of gems just in case. I'd prioritise growing first
I think if you have a lot of spare gems and you get a "lucky run", like say you get to room 30 no wizard for instance, then you definitely can consider spending gems. I've won quite a few before with only a couple hundred, but you have to be very strict with your gem limit
I pretty much agree with all of these. Great video, very informative 👏👏 I'd also suggest Damage + Pheonix/Health on Cosmic and Deluge. Popular non vip skilled dragons Reaper + Pheonix on Spikes. Can swap Pheonix for Health or Damage but there's better dragons for those 2 perks. Damage + Pheonix/Reapers on Iced Sea (copycat arena dragon). He's almost as good as Greedy without a leach and shares several arenas with good vips that he can steal from And I personally don't like to place Reapers on anything higher than a regular mythical. Regular Heroics are only able to cancel out other heroics but that's just me.

How to get Breeding Perks?

Honestly, I feel the Spiked family can literally use any combination of Perks, except HP + DMG

yes, if you have enough orbs it's definitely deserves compare to other dragons

I think DC is absolutely fine to play as a f2p. Log in, get some dragons, breed some stuff, do some battles

Hot take: It's not a good idea to have more than 6% reaper or phoenix on a dragon
I'm using reaper for extractors (after berserkers). They r like berserkers.
