Hallo guys, I have been following your journey in Korea and I absolutely have to tell you that I respect and admire your approach to experience the local vibes and culture. Again, you guys are so well mannered and humble. Wishing you guys safe and pleasant days ahead !!!!🤞🏻💪🎉
,You guys are genuine travellers, l can tell. And it is so nice to hear british accent, which reminds me of the time that l spent in the U.K., when you speak. I hope you have a nice time in Korea.
Red bean porridge, pumpkin porridge, and Yaksik(sweet rice with nuts and jujubes) are truly traditional Korean foods from the Joseon Dynasty. There is a bit of a perception that it is a food that older people like, but I like it.
1:07 The lady was asking whether pomeranian dogs are British breed and when you said the dog is cute she said “honey you are prettier”. Anyway I love that you guys are exploring different parts of Seoul that are less well known. I’m Korean and I haven’t been to some of the places you’ve visited. Subscribed 😊
You guys are awesome. I've been following your korea trip and I enjoy your videos. When people ask you where you're from, you can say "young guk" and that means England in Korean (kind of like yingguo in Chinese). You can say "jowayo" to mean "I like it". Or "yepuhyo" for "it's pretty". Sometimes I don't think people understand "areumdaweo yo". That translates to "that's amazing".
You went to Dong-Myo. The average age of the residents of Dong-Myo district is above 60s. Yup many grumpy folks out there. They went through a lot throughout their lives. Experienced the devastation of Korean war and the survival mode that followed when they were kids, you know.

❤❤ Thank you. Welcome to Korea. I've been funny it since day one. Still, I think I'm enjoying the snacks such as kimchi stew, gimbap, bibimbap, cold noodles, fish cake, tteokbokki, and makgeolli. ELRIS goes to a lot of markets, so I don't think she'll experience a proper meal. There are restaurants often visited by drivers in traditional markets. In particular, taxi drivers don't always stay in the same place during mealtimes, so they know a lot of delicious restaurants nearby. Driver, I recommend you use the restaurant. Have a nice trip. It's cold outside, so please throw away your slippers... T.T

These days, Korea is known for its culture and technology. However, rapid growth in a very short time has resulted in two distinct aspects in the country. There is the usually poorer, less educated older generation that has grown up in the developing country, and there is the young generation that has grown up in the technologically advanced and developed country. Korean government aims to erase the poor, uneducated aspects in the name of development, causing many poor, local areas to disappear more and more.. But despite their desire to negate that aspect, the young generation owes much of its economic affluence to the hard work of older generation. I think your video shows well the first aspect, which can be called the origin of contemporary Korea (whether they agree or not). Your video made me laugh a lot because it reminded me of the typical, ordinary, older Korean people (who couldn't afford education due to the poor economy) whom I was tired of when I was in Korea, but now I miss them so much :) I appreciate you for your openness and lack of judgment.

I respect your way of traveling, but What you need to pay attention to is A lot of people who go or hang around places like that have mental problems. These are mentally ill people. You must be careful because sometimes unpredictable behavior may occur. You may encounter difficulties while traveling, so you need to be careful. I'm a little worried. I'm afraid something bad will happen to you when you travel to Korea.
We are sorry to see dog meat somewhere in the market. Long long ago Historically in korean perninsula there has been many disasters like typoon and heavy rain nevertheless invadeded from north babarians. There is nothing to be left in living so to live we cannot help eating dog.
Don't be sorry. We eat everything and don't judge anybody. If every country had the same traditions/history life would be boring. If you eat cows and pigs you shouldn't frown upon people eating other meats.

This was filmed a month ago! It was still cold but not as extreme as now! We are English so can handle any weather aha
สวัสดีครับ ❤️🇹🇭
Hello. ❤️
I can't hear you very well, but the old lady muttered, "That's too much." And when you said York, she said Maltese. You went to a traditional market. Enjoy your trip.🤗🤗🤗
Ahah we have some bad conversations! Thanks so much 🙏
@@EllisWR No .. she said, "저렇게 순하네 (jeo leo ke soon ha ne) (that dog is so gentle)". Because her dog is barked loudly. You did'nt do anything wrong. Haha

Yeah it was heavenly
떡값이 엄청 싸네❤❤
And delicious also!
You're going to places most younger Koreans have never been..lol
I think they really want to experience the real Korea.
Yeah we love these traditional areas 🇰🇷🙏
Stolen computer??
cap was less than a $1 dollar? yet you wanted to haggled?
and a complaint about a grumpy guys?
No wondered.? I would a have said get the hell out of here. F.er.
They don’t wanted dealing with the guys like you.
@@chow-zz6nv You must not understand English my friend. Stolen computer comment was a sarcastic joke. The 1 dollar cap was an amazing price, I said the people selling them for 10 dollars are overcharging. And I said the guy was grumpy but it doesn't matter haha...

You sound like Irish.
Nooo. Northern English 🏴
I respect your way of traveling, but
What you need to pay attention to is
A lot of people who go or hang around places like that have mental problems.
These are mentally ill people.
You must be careful because sometimes unpredictable behavior may occur.
You may encounter difficulties while traveling, so you need to be careful.
I'm a little worried.
I'm afraid something bad will happen to you when you travel to Korea.
Don't worry we can handle ourselves here 🙏 Korea is extremely safe unlike lots of places in the world
노인네들 삿대질을 왜저렇게 해대냐 어후 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
Ahah it's all ok
We are sorry to see dog meat somewhere in the market. Long long ago Historically in korean perninsula there has been many disasters like typoon and heavy rain nevertheless invadeded from north babarians. There is nothing to be left in living so to live we cannot help eating dog.
Don't be sorry. We eat everything and don't judge anybody. If every country had the same traditions/history life would be boring.
If you eat cows and pigs you shouldn't frown upon people eating other meats.
? There is no store selling dog meat in the video. Why do you bring up dog meat?
