Earl of Sandwich goes into the book of things we shall never ever speak of again and it seems Homecoming should be written into the same book. If you leave a restaurant to search for food, it’s a definite no-go.
Thanks for filming this! Homecomin is one of our absolute favorites in Disney Springs for both food and drinks (big fried chicken fans over here), but that said it's definitely not a vegan friendly spot so totally understand why ya'll don't eat here more often. Totally had no idea that you can take the drink into the movies with you... that's good to know if we ever opt to hit the theatre on a rest day. Jolly Holiday in Disneyland had a "Thanksmas sandwich" that was similar and pretty good. We missed snagging one this year because we were in FL and it's only available for a limited time, but it's worth trying if you're ever in Disneyland around Thanksgiving.

I finally booked my trip last night, so my new years resolution is to catch up on all the videos I missed. And yes I miss the salad buffet so much. Let me put together my own salad I know better than you what I like. Those vegan tenders were sad, not even sauce could save em. Looked dry. Bear is right about sauce, if you need it to save a dish... uh-oh. The drumming at the end was fantastic.
I miss sweet tomatoes too ugh. I recently went to homecoming. I am dairy free and like bear said- it’s def hard to eat there w different diets. I ended up having the Cuban sandwich with fries. They made the Cuban on vegan bread but didn’t give me any mustard or mayo on it. They did try to offer me some of the bbq chips but I thought they might have dairy on them (since a lot of chips like that use milk as a binder) so that’s why I got the fries. It was ehhhh. Now the drinks are great. I always get the Florida crush!! I actually asked about the cauliflower too! I was so disappointed I couldn’t eat that.
@@PrincessandtheBear yeah I wish they’d use alternative breading method other than buttermilk… like they also have fried green tomatoes. It would def make eating at homecoming a LITTLE easier.
I miss sweet tomatoes as well, cheap, filling and most importantly it was yummy. FYI Texas de Brazil has a great salad bar. The few times I’ve gone that’s what I get, and leave happy and full. It’s also half the price of a regular meal. Fogo de chao is also a good option, they recently added vegan plates so you can get that plus the salad bar, you just won’t be able to get dessert at either one. Sorry your meal was lackluster, I guess it’s time to add it to the list of places to skip.

I have been to homecoming twice and they have never had the tenders. I got sick after each meal, so I'm thinking they gave me something not vegan. Definitely agree with princess that this is not a spot for vegans
I had my hopes up that there would be some better vegan option when I got the video notification. Sadly, that was not the case. Wish they would have a better vegan option…
Dry chikn tenders? I can eat that shit at home any day of the week. Sad at Homecomin’ can’t come up with something better. Steakhouse 71 wellington is still the vegan entree to beat.

🍅 also called Souplantation in some places. Miss it. Never realized the first time there that there was almost no meat.
Whenever we're on the west coast, we would eat at Souplantation. Whenever we were by Disney World, we ate at Sweet Tomatoes. 🍅
