From time to time I get gifts sent to me often with out any warning
My RUclips contract says that they could be deemed as payed promotions
Due to the nature of me doing vids daily mostly in a hurry
I feel it’s best so not to fall foul of contract so I will now just add the hash tag #paidpromotion to all my vids
#yourharvest
Another great blog Olly, “British farming - hanging by a thread” Baler twine campaign 😊
What a coincidence, Olly arriving at Tesco and there already being bailer twine on a trolley 😜😂
Them dangly bits are hydraulic fittings covers.
Good idea about the baler twine Olly we are definitely hanging by a. Thread the country is in a mess Hope you have a good time in Finland Hope the Dyno night goes well interesting seeing what the Case puts out You was right Olly about Baling the straw at this time of the year must be unheard of and I you what Straw s going through the roof at the moment Feeling 95% today great video Olly

One to try for the rodent issue that is used in motorsports. Toilet under rim fresheners. Hung up and kept dry in the area of the sprayer wiring where they like to chew.
Hydraulic covers/plugs for the quiz question.👍
great video. i have rebaled quadrant bales into coventional bales in feb, march, april, may , june & july
for our straw buner but i had to cut the strings and feed the straw in by hand with a pitch fork.
Looks like something you’d see the Dutch at
Great video Olly they are hydraulic fitting caps baler twine campaign should get people talking 😊
Love the baler twine concept….Need to find some which isn’t in use😊
You have started something with the string well done 👍
Good video Olie, nice to see you baling in February drier straw now than in 2023 harvest .85% Today.
You need a ticket with a solgan on to tie on with the baler twine, gets the message out to as many people as possible.
I'm no farmer, Olly, but even I know those pretty dangly things are spare hot where bottle caps. Baler twine---love it. Thank you for sharing. 😊
Worked for a company previously who used to bales loose alfafa which we dried on a drying floor. To start with they had the tractor up on ramps and ran a conveyor under the tractor but ended up with a hopper and belt system from europe on the back of the tractor that you could put the alfalfa in the top would go through some beaters and onto a belt to be fed into the baler. Only issue was the knotters kept having issues due to the dust and rubbish piling up underneath the baler.
Another great video good to see how dry you got the straw thanks 80%
Evening Olly, quick tip.....paint your pallet tines in 1 colour, bucket in a different colour and bale spikes in another colour.....makes them easier to spot at a distance. Kind regards
You need to put a bag of used bailer twine on your web shop so non-farming folk like myself can join the campaign.
Parcel tag with message on the twine ,80% videos never to long for me , all best wishes from Norfolk
I’d love to see that big case doing some proper work, I bet it sounds mint!!
Hi Olly Nice One Thanks again
the quiz question answer is spool valve covers I think
Good vlog 😊
The air tags are very accurate.
@ritch195 Yes at first this was true, but Apple have built in safety features and you can get alerted if a tag you don't own is following you. Andriod phone users can even download an app to get notifications if an Apple tag is following them.
Hi Olly, them dangling things are, caps for the remotes.
Love s bit of baler twine!
Will do.
To show we care if we can’t lay are hands on bailer twine , I for one will pop on an odd cable tie , great work Kid
Hi Olly with the baling twine you could get farmers to tie a piece everywhere they spend money for the next month then people might understand how we all rely on each other for the economy to work… maybe if people see how far the farming dollar goes then they may understand how big the issues could be. 80 percent from Jay the NZ farmer
Great video Olly
For bailing the straw reverse mount a hay Bob on front linkage and pto
Air tags accuracy. Outside, about 4m accuracy. In doors if you are outside, about 40-100m.
Great content today Olly, mebbe just get 1 air tag and put on spike to see if it's accurate then buy more if ok...try stuffing wire wool in the gaps round the wire ingress on the bateman to stop the mice getting in, they can't chew it as it cuts their gums... 🐀
I'm amazed the pick up on the baler didn't choke up that was some lump of straw it took in😂
Thanks
Thank you
Good mixed video Olly, i'm crap at tying knots so can i use cable ties on tesco trolleys??? Be worth it. Maybe metal cable ties, i found some while tidying up. 70% today had a day in a shitbox rental van. Gave me a numb arse.😂😂😂
Your on the ball yesterday Olly. My daughter Georgie Kirk on the birthday bumper ....so fast you forgot the I in her name LOL ..thanks anyways
It would be nice to know some history on the big case, as it's originally from the Isle of Wight! Looking at the number plate.
Great video Olly as always 👏👏👍👍
Had an 1184 County once that was drinking diesel. Should have been 120hp engine. Dyno'd at 125 at p.t.o. !! Think it should have been 112hp. Be interesting to see your results. Always interesting. Thanks for sharing.
Sorry Olly, my husband was one of those that fast forwarded the birthday bumper yesterday… I told him, don’t be one if those people 😂 he’s back to leaving it on 😁
Hydraulic service plugs and hose end caps😂
Putting baler twine on a random trolley here and there is quite appropriate as a lot of the “powers that be” are pretty much off their trolley. I am obviously someone with a passion to see farming and farmers do even greater things for the environment and wildlife but I also eat and adore the farmed countryside and respect the many occupants it supports. Perhaps banks, building societies and other financial institutions could be a good target for baler twine.
Good video 👍 60% they are hydraulic hoses.
Dust plugs for hydraulic fittings
Accuracy of an AirTag is normally dead on, especially if there is a few with iPhones around the yard
Olly, try chilli powder for the rats they hate the stuff so may prevent them eating your cables
Olly what you could do with regards to the rodent problems is, put these sticky pads on the tyres.
I have seen people put them down on the floor and they get stuck to it.
I don't no where you get them.
Hydraulic hose tip covers
Are they spool valve caps
Hi ollie, cant remeber but I think you once said they you had a fendt xylon once, just mention as there is one for sale through cheffins this week. i know your not buying any more classic tractors at the moment just thought it would intrest you.
You should keep the 4494 for the sake of the mullet!
I thought you were going on a Dino 🦕 night with James 😂. There’s a train Dino 🦖 thing on this Friday for the kids.
I’ll be going everywhere with a pocket full of baling string. No farmers no food ✊🏻
i think i would have just put the bales in the drying shed whole .......just one layer at a time over the floor .......when you add up the cost of diesel, baler twine and the wages for two men has it been worth it........but then that's the story for all farming operations i suppose
Personally I would sell the Case, I would sell any tractor that is sitting there with a flat tyre anything like that, I think the only reason to keep them is if you look at them and love it, well if you loved it there would be air in the tyre, also if you are thinking about it, then it doesn’t mean that much to you so again sell.
95% today, just getting ready for our second skiing trip, so 2 weeks in the Alps, there is great snow where we are and it is going to snow this week. If you want to pop over we have 1 spare room
11:54 great content again
👀🙄🐾🐾
All that messing for a couple of bales no wise!
Hydraulic coupling blanks
Wrong …I was rebailing rounds in to small squares today..so makes two of us bailing 😉🤣
Sell the case. To me. 😂😂😂
Hi great video 75 %
I think you need to put something other than the baler twine in the envelopes to send to folk - or at this point in the campaign, they won't have a clue why they are being sent it. With the critters eating your cables, is the idea of rat poison not to attract them to an area to then eat it? you may be better trying to block up as much access as possible - Someone else on here suggested wire wool.
Ollie do you still class yourself as a Young Farmer at your age 😂😂😂😂
Hydraulic spool caps
Put mothballs on the sprayer
spray copper grease in the wiring box , rodents hate it
Rats are so destructive😂 said it before but straw must be bloody expensive over your way to make that worthwhile. Do you know how many less bales you got when you re baled it, just curious but I recon about 1/3 will have vanished (you never get a bale from a bale when you rebale in the field. Nobody else will have the baler on in February anyway 😂
Hi use jays fluid , in confined spaces to help with your rodent problem , they hate the smell and taste 🍺🍺
You need to sort that tyre on the header it will end up trashed
Garlic powder rats ad mice don't like the smell
did you buy that 470 quadtrac you went too look at?
Don’t worry you’ll find Wifi in Suolahti 🤣
dust covers
Made a bit of a pigs ear out of it . Why not make a smaller swath ?
Hi Olly great video the case sounds great..bloody Rats 🐀 🐀 get in to everything and eat anything hate the bloody things...😀😀😀😀40%
Sell that scared cat case and buy an old 70k fast trac
Use moth balls in your sprayer
Where we get the twine
Bales
No bales or twine on my street where can I get some for my shopping trip
Big CASE - Take delivery of the new one and show it to Morgan, then say you want to sell the old one.
115% today despite being late in for dialysis due to crew shortage at the ambulance depot. 9 all yellow cars, one orange, and one black with a yellow roof (yes really).
Did a stupid thing leaving dialysis and said the "q word" to one of the other patients; Don't question the power o the q word; it really is a thing.
Sensible lay description of how an eddy current power dynamometer works (there are other types).
baler twine a wing mirror on your car
An AirTag uses Bluetooth to connect to an iPhone during the initial setup process, and an iPhone needs to be within a range of 33 feet to connect to any Bluetooth device. Therefore, and regardless of the actual range of an AirTag, the operating distance is 10 meters. So unless the equipment you are looking for is within range of a device that is switched on , pointless..
Where did that come from, there's a hole in it now 😂
great video olly
Great video as always Olly
