- Missed Abortion is another clinical presentation of early pregnancy failure. With use of Ultrasound in early pregnancy, we often find ourselves in clinical situations, where we have to make the decision whether the pregnancy is growing as expected or failing. This video discusses those clinical scenarios and help understand the definition of early pregnancy loss. What happen with your pregnancy
I went in at 7 wks (was supposed to be 8wks at the time) and had a healthy strong heartbeat - 140bpm. The nurse practitioner wanted me to come back in 2 weeks to have the doctor verify the due date.
I have till this day no cramps, no bleeding, no sign of miscarriage. I had my appointment yesterday, and the doctor confirmed 8wks and 5days, but no sign of cardiac activity. Out of nowhere😔
I’ve decided to do a d&c procedure to make sure nothing is leftover (there was another sac that was supposed to carry a twin, they confirmed vanishing twin syndrome) so letting it pass naturally might not work completely.
It was my first pregnancy, still in shock but everything happens for a reason. Stay healthy and strong out there🙏🏻❤️

Yes I worry that can happen to me but you did nothing wrong missed miscarriages or anything like that is caused by when you and your partner egg meet unfortunately there was abnormalities they usually say that for any miscarriages under 12 weeks there’s nothing you did or could of done take time to heal I pray for your recovery ! Don’t be afraid to try again there’s nothing your fault it was just an abnormality it happens sometimes

Omg this video gives me so much hope. I did an ultrasound yesterday and my gestational sac measures 10mm ans it was empty. I was told to repeat in 2 weeks I hope to atleast see a yolk sac by them. I am currently 6 weeks

Was this an ivf pregnancy? U were sure ur 6 weeks? Cz i have an ivf pregnancy and at 6 weeks doc saw only gestational sac, called me week later im too worried

One and half month I went to scanning everything is ok..but no heart beat for baby...
Bt doctor didnt tell anything to me...
Later after 3 months again I went for scanning..again no heart beat for baby....
It was so disappointed me.... finally doctor told to abort the baby.....

Missed miscarriage would be a better title.
Especially when abortion is commonly referred to women who CHOOSE to end their baby's life.
In miscarriage we have absolutely no choice, it merely happens....

So I’m 6 weeks pregnant, I did my first ultrasound last week (5weeks 3 days) because my last pregnancy was ended up in miscarriage so doctor decided to check it. So during the ultrasound, they saw a gestational sac (15mm) but no fetal pole. Doc said it’s alright because it’s too early to see, and told me to do another ultrasound 2 weeks later (which is next week) now I’m really scared because what if I don’t see any fetal pole. Plus the symptoms are like feeling nauseous, aversion of certain type food and very tired, but I’m still feeling pessimistic.

On my 6 weeks 1st ultrasound I got to know I was pregnant with twins with two embryos. But one was not growing other one was fine. The one was not active naturally went off at 6 weeks 3 days. Is there any risk to my other baby when somthing happends like that..?

So comcerned. I calculated based on lmp 6 weeks, 1 scan said 8w2d. Last one said 5w2 days... which do i follow? Does that mean one week later that the sac is getting smaller and I'm no longer pregnant?
On the scan I only saw a hard to reach little black circle. But nothing in there. It was abdominal not transvaginal.

Thank you doctor I just had a scan which says the uterus is empty,however I did a blood test and urine test which shows am positive.i am actually confuse at the moment. Do I need to go for another scan?
The first scan was showing early cyesis, bulky uterus measuring 5.11cmin its max AP diameter.it says both anexea and POD are free.
So today I had another scan and it says no evidence of cyesis, but the blood test shows positive
