Laney College FabLab Tour

At the Laney College FabLab you can make almost anything for free with digital fabrication equipment. Starting with a computer design, any student can use our 3D printers, CNC routers, laser cutters, waterjet, embroidery machine, UV printer, vinyl cutter, and more to make all kinds of parts and projects. Laney College students need to only take at least one class or be dual enrolled at a local high school and they can have complete access to the space.

Steps to sign up:
1. Bring close toed shoes to the FabLab, located in the theater loading dock next to the model house by F building
2. Take a 30 - 60 minute safety and basics workshop on a piece of equipment you're interested in, such as the CNC router or laser cutters
3. Make a reservation with a staff member to use a particular machine, or simply hop on a machine if it's not in use
